Biography
Damjaou was born in the Country of Earth and raised in its fields as a farmer within a small mountain valley until his late teens. However, in his late teens, he moved from home in seek of a new life away from the small mountain town. On his journey he was met by a ninja from Iwagakure no Sato who saw potential and took Damjaou back to be trained despite his older age. Damjaou never attended regular academy, but was instead taught by the Kyudaime Tsuchikage in the way of Earth Ninjutsu. As such, Damjaou quickly surpassed many ninja and by his early twenties was a full fledged Jounin of Iwagakure no Sato. Damjaou's military genius is what helped him excel, he could see through large combat situations and helped lead Iwagakure no Sato to victory in a small arms war with Sunagakure in the Wild West. The small war was only a month long and did not affect either of the homelands of the countries, and as such it is often forgotten to time. After his victory, Damjaou was given a peacetime adviser position in the village and began his political game in his late forties as his abilities began to wane.
Though he still took on students, Damjaou's main role in the village was as a traveling diplomat to other countries. He was even up for election as Tsuchikage in the Spring of 2106 as the Juuichidaime Tsuchikage Miyo Jinzaburo resigned after only a little more than a year of service. However, the Kumogakure Invasion started and he was captured by Kumogakure no Sato. He spent a year within a holding cell in the Country of Earth, being interrogated for information and secrets from the village. During this entire year he did not speak a single word, going so far as the convince the enemy that he was mute. At the end of the year an insurgent group in the Iwagakure NCIA broke Damjaou and a number of other prisoners free. Damjaou was given a position at the top of the resistance and with his military genius they started to turn the tide in their country. Thought many give credit to Alchem Syaoran for the success of the Iwagakure Resistance, it was really Koizumi Hikado and Damjaou's military genius that allowed the resistance the opportunity to overthrow the NCIA.
After the war Damjaou came back to his role on the council and was the loudest voice in support of the Juusandaime Tsuchikage, Alchem Syaoran. His role is often one of a diplomat, though he often turns his attention towards internal affairs as well.
Personality
Damjaou is perceptive and intelligent. However, age has softened him to be that of a kind old man. He is a master of diplomacy and has a way of always finding the right thing to say. He is a wise man and thinks before acting or speaking. Anger is very rare in him, though unfair justice will often anger him more than anything else.
