Nox
Nox is the Jinchuuriki of the Nine-Tails Demon, Kurama, succeeding that of the famous Hokage Uzumaki Naruto. Interestingly enough, Nox was born before Naruto and extremely distant cousins at best. Nox is actually a bastardization title, adoped from the Glacium word for 'Night'. the Glacium were an ancient race of ninja who had once invaded the island of Uzushiogakure no Sato. Nox resides within a temple in Hi no Kuni's southern region in a place called the Lumere Everglades.

Personality
Nox is a wildcard, he is completely brash and steamed with anger but with many long years of solitude, tranquility quieted that side save for select instances. While at time, he can be as dumb as bricks, the ‘average’ knowledge he has was lost to the world, making him appear exceedingly intelligent, or a great bullshitter. He is plagued by flashbacks of the destruction of his home. Having been in isolation with the Kyuubi for so long, he often rambles and forgets how a normal human interacts. Cultural tendencies and references can be lost on him. He is known to express himself in ways that society doesn't acknowledge anymore.
Biography
Nox was born in an age long past, fourteen years prior to the fall of Uzushiogakure no Sato. Born a bastard to Uzumaki Azaelia, Nox only knew his father the night of the end of Uzushiogakure no Sato. Uzumaki Valon was the prince of the Uzumaki, betrothed at age 13 to another women, but as any ignorant boy he fell in love with another: Azaelia. In a fit of love and lust, Azaelia and he copulated and her womb took his seed that night. Against his wishes, Valon had to deny what he had done, although he used his own personal fortune to support the baby when he was born.
Nox was a handful growing up, always curious and trying to get into things. The Uzumaki clan all but disowned him, except for his immediate family but he had learned to become friends with other bastard Ageshio and Naiyume and many other ‘lesser’ children. With the exception of the Prestige Three, the title of bastard meant little. He was a prince of the streets, actively involved in the juvenile gangs since this was the only place that would accept him. Many times during the academy, his superiors tried to challenge him past his breaking point, but he never gave in. He would make a game of outsmarting them, although all his tests came back ‘average’. During the ceremony for graduation, Nox had secured a seat, awaiting his headband and status as Gennin. He was granted that with gritted teeth, all the while sending a kage bunshin throughout the academy rearranging the contents of all his teachers’ desks. It was subtle, but enough to prove a point that he wasn’t exactly average.
When the war on Uzushiogakure began, Nox and Azaelia knew that their escape from the island would was close to nil. The prestigious were looked towards first and they didn’t qualify. There were still secrets in Uzushiogakure that couldn’t be covered in ash and a young sage scientist approached Nox and offered him and his mother asylum in exchange that he keep a treasure. He agreed without second thought and was handed a strange and old scroll. It was only after he was off to sea that he discovered what the scroll was. When his ship was attacked in the war, he opened the scroll and was consumed by a yokai. With power enough to destroy the attackers, Nox became both feared and respected. The boat landed in Hi no Kuni and its residents fled into the southern forest.
Nox fought for control of the yokai, sometimes he won, sometimes he lost. When he lost, he nearly lost himself in the process. The yokai sought to die after the torture it had succumbed to the Uzushiogakurean sages and when it gained control of Nox, it tried to kill itself. Luckily, Nox had enough force of will to deny it that privilege and eventually befriended the yokai. Through the years it still grieved up until the day the rogue Uzushio tribe had been hunted. In a raid, Azaelia had sustained a life threatening wound. The yokai said it could make her passing painless if it could enter her. Nox knew the right answer and it killed him inside. He relinquished the yokai in his mother whose final act was to place a seal on that would slow his aging. She believed the world needed the gifts of her boy.
Nox moved to Konohagakure no Sato after that for a while, disguising himself. He lived as an average person until after the Fifth Shinobi World War. As the [okage Naruto neared retirement, the ageless Nox revealed his origins to the man and was introduced to Kurama. Knowing the world had enough of bijuu and that eventually the bijuu would run havoc again, Naruto sealed Kyuubi within Nox and they both fled into the wilderness again.
