Yukigakure Invasion
The Yukigakure Invasion was a two day battle that started at the northern edge of the country and soon found itself being fought in the streets of Iwagakure no Sato. The invading force was a combination of trained ninja from Yukigakure no Sato, a massive force of mercenaries from the Wild West and many other missing-nin from various countries. Though Yukigakure no Sato was not the only attacking force, they were the most recognizable in the army and because of such the invasion was named after them. The damage left behind in the wake of the invaders was devastating economically and morally, putting the Country of Earth months behind in schedule to attack the capital of the Kumogakure Empire.

Alchem Syaoran
Participated in Day 1 and Day 2 battles on both fronts, apprentice to Hikado and one of the top Jounin during the invasion. Was feared by the enemy as the “Black Swordsman” and was responsible for slowing the advance of a significant portion of the invading forces. Also captured Uchiha Nevan and Uchiha Shinaki. Friend of Uchiha Nevan.
Day 1
The first day marked when the mixture of forces led by Uchiha Madara, henceforth to be referred to as the Yuki forces, broke the northern border and started to attack and raid the small outposts nearby. The outposts, outmanned and outnumbered vastly, would surrender and be taken captive, but not before sending word to Iwagakure no Sato of the invasion. Koizumi Hikado, the Tsuchikage, was given word of the invasion and immediately had a call to arms of the small yet strong resistance forces.
Immediately a small team was sent northward to intercept and fight the forces, and they were to gather with other ninja from outposts to gather their strength into a front line away from the country. By the end of Day 1 the first major battle happened about halfway between the border to the Country of Snow and Iwagakure no Sato. The battle was bloody for both sides and the Iwagakure forces were outmatched by numbers alone. Those who were not killed were either capture of fled, and only Alchem Syaoran would return to the village to give word of the defeat.
Day 2
By the second day, with the news of their defeat spreading, Koizumi Hikado gathered his remaining forces and sought to defend the village at all costs. Throughout the entire afternoon and into the night the forces fought amongst the streets until the remaining Iwagakure forces were backed into their own arena. When all seemed all but lost, Koizumi Hikado and members of the Iwagakure no Sato Council mounted a counter attack on the focused enemy and were able to push them back significantly.
It was at this time that Uchiha Madara made his appearance, and a fight between him and Koizumi Hikado ensued. A trap would be sprung by the Iwagakure forces, enclosing the entire arena in a purple flame array. However, it was all but futile by the end of the battle. Uchiha Madara, after killing Koizumi Hikado, would order the retreat of the entire Yuki force. Immediately they would begin withdrawing, and the remaining Iwagakure ninja would be forced to simply watch as their enemy simply walked out of their village as it was in ruins around them.
