A firm believe that "All work and no play makes Kai a dully boy", Malachi Kuroki is equal parts playful and playboy. Flippant and flirtatious, Kai often seems to missing the brain/mouth filter, resulting in him saying exactly what he thinks. Because of his loud, rambunctious, and often offensive behavior, very people see him as the Jounin and Commander that he is, beneath his lighthearted and carefree behavior.

Despite his hedonistic qualities, Kai is a big softy at heart. He cares strongly about the people he serves with, even if he doesn't always chose the best ways of showing it.
