Personality
Shy and self-conscious, Shiba Oonai is a member of the talented team of mechanics who serve aboard the IAF Draco. While his position is well earned, and he is well-liked by the rest of the crew, Shiba is often timid and meek even around those he technically outranks. It doesn't take much to cause the young mechanic to blush and stutter, rarely confident in himself despite his intelligence and technical know-how. What he lacks in people skills he makes up with his mechanical ability, knowing the ins and outs not only of his ship, but any other IAF vessel that he can get his hands on.
Despite his insecurities around strangers and even his own crew, Shiba has a very inquisitive disposition that is eager to learn and see new things. It's this thirst for information that makes him incredibly knowledgeable about the going-ons of the IAF and the other ships in the organization. His youth combined with boundless curiosity and interest in new things is often affectionately compared to that of a puppy by the rest of his crew.
