A prodigal member of the Uchiha Clan, Tsukiyo's bright and shining future was cut short when he caught a terminal illness as a child. Robbed of most of his strength and left with the lingering after effects of his ongoing sickness, the once quiet, shy boy had become tense and jaded as he continues a daily fight for survival.

Tsukiyo is a slender, almost frail young man with the traditional coloring of his clan. Primarily a Genjutsu user, Tsukiyo's has a slim musculature that fits his narrow frame. His blue-black hair is kept roughly chin length, and has a natural tousled look to it. His pale skin, dark hair and deep color of his eyes can make him quit striking, but his illness often makes him look more sallow than fair, with dark shadows under his eyes from sleepless nights.
Personality
Reasonable and thoughtful, Tsukiyo is a quiet, often shy individual with a calm and reserved demeanor. His introvert personality makes him wary around strangers, relying on polite formality to hide his discomfort when interacting with those he is unfamiliar with. All of these combine to make a taciturn individual, though many mistake his private nature for surliness. It doesn't help that his illness - something that most people are quick to notice and remark upon - is a sensitive subject for the Uchiha, and is likely to bring out mocking bitterness and despondent words. However, for those who can see past his personal insecurities and reservations, Tsukiyo is mild mannered, intelligent young man who still desperately clings to his desire to be a shinobi.
Out of Charcter Insights
Tsukiyo could very easily be described as 'reclusive' or 'asocial'. It's not that he dislikes interacting with others, it's that his naturally introverted tendencies makes it hard for him to open up or relax around strangers. He is aware of his seclusion and often feels lonely as a result, but he is too unfamiliar with casual social interactions to feel comfortable trying to change it. Of course, his standoffish demeanor and stiff formality makes him appear haughty (or in some extreme cases, angsty), but generally it's his way of disguising his own shyness and self consciousness. These tendencies are less apparent when he is on missions, as it is easaier for him to interact with others when he has a definite purpose and goal. Tsukiyo is also very much so the "consummate shinobi" - he rarely argues with those he's perceives as figures of authority even if he disagrees with them, and will usually follow most orders without any (verbal) argument. He also lack 'abstract imagination' - he views the world in a very literal sense, and has difficulty answering questions regarding hypothetical situations. For the most part this makes him rather pragmatic, however in certain situations (such as conversations revolving around his illness) he has a tendency to come across as more pessimistic than practical.
About
A prodigious member of the Uchiha clan, Tsukiyo displayed an intelligence and aptitude for the ninja arts that surpassed all of his peers even from an early age. Quiet and studios even as a small child, it didn't take long for his family to realize that Tsukiyo's latent skill was more then extraordinary - it was almost legendary. Even without the use of the Sharingan that lay dormant in his blood, Tsukiyo was able to learn and adapt as though the knowledge and skills were already ingrained in him. Unfortunately, his promising career was cut short almost as soon as it began as a rare sickness nearly destroyed many of his vital organs, leaving him prone to debilitating headaches and coughing up blood. This should have been the end of any aspirations to be a shinobi, however the "loss" of Tsukiyo resulted in his family pressuring his younger brother, Uchiha Asahi to live up to their clan's legacy. Unlike Tsukiyo, Asahi had a life loving, caring temperament with aspirations to be a medic, not a tool for the harsher side of the shinobi world. Convinced that it was his fault that Asahi had been coerced into becoming a ninja, Tsukiyo began to train in secret to regain what strength he could, until even his maligned body could meet the physical requirements necessary to do shinobi work.
However, no amount of time or healing will save him, as eventually he will succumb to the internal injuries from his illness and die.

Triva
- Tsukiyo's illness is terminal. He has a Hindering Skill that has ways within the battle system to kill him, including a lifespan that cannot surpass 40 years.
- Tsukiyo is borderline haphephobic. He is uncomfortable with intimacy, especially being touched without explicit consent. This stems from the intrusive and often painful medical treatment he received as a child, followed by an adolescence with little to no causal touch.
