Appearance

Height: 5’6"
Weight: 153 lbs.
Hair Color: Short hair dyed dark blue with lighter blue highlights. The sides of Ote's head are shaved quite close to the skin, giving it a unique texture to his sensitive hands. The dye in Ote's hair is made from a special blend of dye that is mixed with his own chakra. The dye itself also is sensed as blue by other Fell. Ote keeps a goatee well groomed and closely shaven.
Eye Color: Vivid, crystalline azure iris with a vibrant orange where the pupil would be in a normal person's eye. The two colors meet and collide in small explosions of crystals.
Chakra Signature: Ote's chakra signature is silver in color with the sensation of mint being chewed. The mint extends to the ghost of a scent mixed with a sweetness of berries. This sweetness is counterbalanced by a sensation of firmness.
Clothing:
-Casual: Normally, Ote forgoes a shirt and prefers, instead, to wear a dark blue hoodie with a yellow lining. While he can't actually see the colors in the normal sense, the texture and sensation of the fabric on his skin. The pants he wears hang loosely on his hips and extend just slightly beyond his feet. Along the sides of the pants are a multitude of chains and zippers that have been sewn into the pants. Ote runs his hands along these bits of metal absentmindedly.
-Formal: In situations where his hoodie alone is not appropriate, Ote dons a charcoal black button up shirt with an ash gray sports coat lined with black pinstripes and matching pants. A blood red handkerchief is folded neatly and placed into his jacket pocket. The pinstriping in Ote's jacket and pants are made of a special fabric that was spun with a touch of chakra, allowing those of the Fell Clan to sense the clothing even if they can't see it.
-Battle: Ote wears a short sleeved chain mesh t-shirt with a zipper down the front. The sleeves of the shirt are made of metal instead of fabric. Over the top of the shirt he wears a thick open vest with leather covered metal plates down the front and back. A pair of black gloves with the fingertips cut off and sand packed into the cavities above the knuckles. Two metal cuffs ring his biceps and a black choker rounds his neck. His hitai-ate is sewn into a a very long piece of black fabric that reaches to the back of Ote's knees. A pair of jet black, full length pants that lead into a pair of heavy duty boots. A pair of spray painted knee pads studded with blunt bits of metal provide extra umph when attacking. Several leather cords wrap around various parts of his legs. Two kunai holsters rest on each his hips, one on each side. Around his waist is two belts, one to secure his pants and a second belt that is meant to keep his mind entertained with different textures and materials.

History

-Pre-Roleplay

Ote's career as a shinobi was quite common and unremarkable through his Academy years. Like most of his peers, he studied and trained in the basics of being a shinobi. After graduating to Gennin, Ote took a year of training with his clan before being assigned to a Jounin. In that year, Ote was taught many of the techniques that allowed the Fell clan to grow the many crops they sell in Suna. During this year of training, Ote learned about duality in life. In a single flower, you can find both life and death; an incredibly potent medicine that can save a life just as easily as an immediately lethal poison that steals life away. For a shinobi, both applications have their place, but Ote was told that it was time to decide which path to take. Without hesitation, Ote chose to save a life. Thus began his career as a medical shinobi.

Ote soon found that his chakra control was actually quite precise and easily adapted to the medical training. When he was not practicing in the hospital, Ote would stay up late and read as many medical texts as he could get his hands on. While this took a crippling toll on Ote's personal life, it helped the boy advance steadily in the medical field. After several months of medical practice, Ote was deemed fit to be put on a team.

With the Jounin, Yuka, Ote was paired with fellow gennin, Ishikawa Kotaro. The two knew each other previously in life, but didn't necessarily get along. They did find that they shared a perverted penchant for scoping out sexiness in all its forms, which was great fun, until they both got in trouble for it.

-Out Of This World

Ote's first big adventure actually started after a training session with Yuka and Kotaro. After being thoroughly beaten by Yuka, the group ventured out into the desert for some survival exercises. However, what was in store for them would complete alter Ote's course forever. Among the blistering sands, Ote, Kotaro and Yuka stumbled across a giant snake held captive within a glass orb, tied by a large rope. If that wasn't enough to grab their attention, the snake started to talk. In their minds. Before they could decide on the next course of action, a group of chuunin and jounin shinobi showed up to collect or destroy the creature, but Ote and Kotaro, as young as rebellious as they were, decided that it was a better idea to release the creature.

With Kotaro making a distraction, Ote severed the rope that bound Koryu, the icy snake Yokai within her prison. When she was released, Koryu displayed the ability to completely immobilize the entire group, including at least two jounins, with a single blast of ice. Before any of them could follow, Koryu disappeared into the desert. As the sun sank below the horizon, and rose again the next day Ote and his team convened to make sense of the strange event. It was decided, unanimously, that no one was happy with whatever answers were given, so they would find their own. The only problem: the Kazekage ordered that no one leave the city.

-Out Of Legend

Of course, the citywide shut down put a damper on the trio's plans. Not being able to leave the city would make trying to track down Koryu very difficult, but where there were three idiots, there was a way. Ote led the group to his clan's farms and into an underground shelter that led out of the city. One they were in the desert, the group began headway to Arrakis. For hours they ran, stopping only occasionally to allow Ote and Kotaro to rest. The two gennin just as adamant about finding Koryu as Yuka, Ote perhaps even more so than either of the other two.

After deciding to make a camp just outside Arrakis, Ote and Kotaro were confronted by a group of civilians on patrol. Luckily, Yuka had left them shortly before, as the civilians were on the look out for two gennin accompanied by a jounin. After some odd conversation and misdirection, Ote and Kotaro managed to convince the civilian guard to leave. To their luck though, Yuka would arrive shortly with evidence of Koryu. While the evidence gave the group hope that Koryu would be close by, they would not find out as Yuka was suddenly attacked by a force unseen. Ote, was presented with a crucial decision; to find the nearby Koryu or to tend to Yuka to ensure his survival.

Ote, as before, chose to save a life.

When they finally got Yuka to Arrakis, all three of the shinobi were taken into custody and separated. Ote, more concerned with Yuka's well beaing, did not fully understand the position he was in until he was thrown into a cell. That night, Ote learned a lot about himself and who he wanted to be. However, it would seem that no matter how much soul searching the gennin did, he would not be able to live past his disobedience to the Kazekage. When the sun rose, Ote had a visitor named Zouka. After a brief conversation between the two, it was revealed that Ote was being released under probation pending Zouka's report. If Ote screwed this up, he would likely be demoted and thrown back in jail.

-Arrakis Ninja Arts Tournament

Not long after Ote had been released under the supervision of Zouka, there had been an announcement of an upcoming tournament. Even though most of his days were spent volunteering his time in the Arrakis hospital, Ote managed to find time to squeeze in some training, just for the big event. As the weeks passed, Ote focused his efforts on bettering himself and without realizing it, he was growing more mature in doing so. Where he used to let his hands and eyes wander to placed where they did not belong, he now kept them calmly at his side and staring ahead. Under Zouka's eye, Ote grew into a shinobi rather than a child with medical training.

When the Tournament finally rolled around, Ote got his first taste of a real battle against someone other than a training dummy or cadaver. In the first round, Ote was paired up against his own teammate, Ishikawa Kotaro, whom he had not seen since the night he was thrown in jail. Kotaro's speed and proficiency with his blades pushed Ote to his limits, until out of no where cormorant swooped down and knocked Kotaro out of bounds. In the second matcj, Ote faced off against Hozuki Nahiko, a gennin from Kiri who had the ability to shift completely into water. Nearly every attack that Ote threw the water shifter's way was ineffective. However, like before, because of a technical disqualification, Ote was the victor. In the final match, Ote first met his soon-to-be rival, Uchiha Saki.

Saki was the third Uchiha that Ote met and made a connection with. Uchiha Asahi, an aspiring medical gennin became his assisstant during an autopsy. Asahi's brother, Tsukiyo was a mysterious and reclusive shinobi that instantly struck a chord inside Ote. Ote even went so far to impress Tsukiyo as to invent a brand new medicine. However, it was in vain as Tsukiyo seemed completely uninterested.

Ote's first bout with Saki ended as quickly as a bolt of lightning, which incidentally was part of how Ote lost so quickly. With a combined attack of both Chidori and Ink Shuriken, Ote lost the match, but gained a new scar and tattoo at the same time.

-Journey to the Leaf

After a series of incidents during the Arrakis Ninja Arts Tournament, tensions between Suna and Konoha began to rise. The threat of war was whispered on the air as the Kazekage and the Hokage met. In their talks, it was decided that Suna would send a shinobi to Konoha to learn the valuable medical techniques that Konoha was known for. That shinobi, was Ote Fell. His already friendly reputation towards the Uchiha and his medical training made him an ideal candidate. However, before he was sent off, Ote was promoted to Chuunin.

Upon arriving in Konoha, Ote met again with Uchiha Saki, who after a traumatic incident involving a Suna shinobi, thought that her city was being directly invaded. Her speed and ferocity had only increased since Ote last clashed with her and just as quickly as before, Ote lost the fight. However, this loss would bring him a rare opportunity; the chance to meet the Hokage face to face.

After a conversation between Hyuuga Yatako and Uchiha Saki, Ote and the Hokage were left in private. There, they discussed the looming threat of war. Ote, swept up in his loss against Saki and the strong desire to prevent the war, swore to the Hokage that he would prevent the war and act as a shield for both nations. To that end, Ote then revealed his intention of becoming the next Kazekage to Zouka.

After a few months of training in Konoha, Ote was introduced to the legendary Slug summons. He worked with them side by side and cherished every moment, but also managed to prove himself worthy of entering into a contract with them. With this new ability under his belt, Ote felt confident that he had taken his first steps to becoming the Kazekage, but before that he had a war to stop. To that end, he needed allies and partners and with the recent announcement of the International Chuunin Exams, Ote asked for permission from both his Kage and the Kage of Konoha to go.
