Resumo Adustum is a current low ranked missing ninja from Denchi no Kuni. She is the younger sister to the Hachidaime Kyoukage Resumo Brash and the Otogakure Jounin Resumo Leira. Adustum was an NCIA agent during the Kumogakure Empire and took part in the Battle of Nigiyakashufu. After the battle her whereabouts became unknown and she has not been seen since. Because of her relation to the Kyoukage, there is a bounty on her head for her live capture and return. It may also be her relation to the Kyoukage that keeps her missing ninja status at D-Rank.

Biography

Adustum grew up in Otogakure no Sato in the Country of Rice Fields. She had a relatively happy childhood with a single mother and her two older siblings, Resumo Brash and Resumo Leira. As she grew up however, Adustum would become more and more aware of the lengthening shadow that her brother Brash was casting on herself and her sister, Leira. Born with natural whitish blonde hair that tied the three siblings together, the villagers would often refer to the children as "Brash and the girls" or "Brash's sisters". Though a talented child herself, learning to manipulate fire chakra at the age of eight even before her sister could form an element, Adustum was still overlooked. Wherever Adustum went she was recognized for her hair and was told how proud people were of her brother, whom was the youngest Jounin ranked ninja in their village at fifteen. Adustum, in a fury, died her hair a deep midnight black, causing a sharp contrast between her and her siblings. Frustrated by the inability to be recognized for her own talents and her sister's incapacity to recognize the humiliation they went through daily due to Brash, Adustum rebelled from the family completely.

At the age of sixteen, Kumogakure no Sato invaded the known world and overtook Otogakure no Sato. As the storm of the invasion settled, Adustum would find that herself and her mother were the only members of her family left. A mixture of happiness and sadness filled Adustum, glad that her brother was gone from in front of her and sad that her siblings had to flee. As the NCIA was established in the village, Adustum was one of the first applicants of former Otogakure no Sato ninja. Jumping at the chance to do good for her village and more importantly to show that she could also be a respectable ninja, even more so than her brother Brash.

During the time of the NCIA, Adustum trained with other NCIA agents and honed her fire ninjutsu. In addition to mastering fire, the youngest Resumo also mastered ash ninjutsu, which is a specific type of fire ninjutsu that focuses on burning embers rather than shear power of flame. Adustum rose in rank within the NCIA, helping to bring prosperity and peace to Denchi no Kuni even despite their occupation by a foreign nation. Adustum was one of the lead investigators against the V.A.K. organization, and was within the raid on their headquarters. Disappointed that she was not able to catch her brother in the raid, she soon was transfered to Nigiyakashufu for additional training in the Kumogakure Empire. As such, she attended in the Battle of Nigiyakashufu, in which the Kumogakure Empire lost their seat of power over the world and was toppled once and for all.

Resumo Adustum's current where abouts are unknown. There have been zero leads in her location since the Battle of Nigiyakashufu and some believe she died in the chaos. She is considered a B-Rank missing ninja of Otogakure no Sato with a bounty on her head for her safe capture and return. It is likely due to her relation to the Kyoukage that he rank is not of at least A status.

Personality

Adustum is a rebelious and proud soul, always deepling loathing the shadow that was cast by Brash over herself and her sister. While Leira embraced her brother's strength and father like tendencies towards them, Adustum hated it and wished that he would just see her for her own strengths. As she grew into her later teens, Adustum continued her rebellious ways and did as much as she could to break free of her brother's shadow. She often will talk down to others and always acts as if she has something to prove.
