"Munashii" Sumire, Jounin of Otogakure no Sato

Munashii Sumire is a man wrapped in mystery. For years he roamed the countryside of Denchi no Kuni, touching the lives of many who he met on his mission of self repentance. Almost everything about the man's past is unknown including his real name to everyone with him. Sumire is the name that he asks others to call him and Munashii was what he submitted when a surname was required by the village, however because it literally translated as "void" it is thought to also be fabricated. Only recently has he agreed to use his superior ninja skill to help train a new generation in Otogakure no Sato, and if the situation hadn't been so dire in the last years in the country he may have turned the personal request from Resumo Brash down without a though.

Biography

Much of Sumire's past is lost to any records aside his own mind. It is known that for nearly a decade he wandered the countryside helping others in need and living a life of poverty. He constantly would roam, staying in no place longer than a week before hiking on to the next village. His presence and knack to disappear without leaving a trace has made him a sort of legend among the countries people. Some call him a divine spirit while others call him a demon from hell, and all tell of an extremely mysterious yet somber man who tries to fix the world one piece at a time.

Records from Otogakure no Sato have Sumire under record by a code name "IV" or "Four". The records start from 2094 and go through the end of the year where they mysteriously just end. There is no indication of who he was or what rank he held beforehand nor why he was released from the village. Many of the records for his missions are simply mission from file and those that can be found are heavily edited and all have to do with the deepest of black ops.

It was only recently that Sumire, under the bequest of Resumo Brash, returned to the village as a Jounin. For a while he was placed on teams for highly tasked missions, but soon after what may have been a disagreement with the Kyoukage himself, Sumire was tasked with the training of young Otogakure no Sato ninja.

Personality

Sumire is a stone, nothing seems to shake him or break through his outer core. He does not act until it is necessary, and when it is he can be as abrupt as a slammed door. He is slow to words and when he does speak he says only what is necessary. The only person with a working relationship with Sumire is the Kyoukage, and all others seem to keep their distance from the man. No matter what anyone has to say about him though, Sumire is capable of almost any task given to him and will not vocally complain to anyone.
