As the only child of Hoshigaki Oka and Hoshigaki 'Chiri' Kana, Kajiru was born with stark white skin instead of the deep blue shade that his clan was known for. At first it was believed to be a case of albinism, or a result of mingling between Hoshigaki and Human DNA, but it was discovered quickly that Kajiru had actually inherited the most powerful version of the clan's bloodline, Hoojiro- the Skin of the Great White Shark. This meant that he was nigh impervious to injuries even as an infant, but it came at a great cost. While the other members of his clan were able to turn the impervious nature of their flesh on and off at will, Kajiru's skin was always active, resulting in his chakra constantly being drained. As a result, Kajiru's chakra pool never fully developed as it was constantly being strained every waking moment, causing him to be hungry almost 24/7.

This hunger, combined with his herculuean strength even as a child, had seemingly destined Kajiru to walk down a dark path. Thankfully, he was saved by his father's diligent efforts to turn him into a respectable and honorable man. Honor has become Kajiru's sole drive, seeking to fight his foes head-on without ever resorting to any underhanded tactics, wanting to be the kind of man who was strong enough to withstand even the most diabolical of assaults. Kajiru lives strictly by this personal code, and is loathe to abandon it. Yet, despite his strict and dedicated lifestyle, he is feared and hated by his clan, with one half despising him for being the product of the 'disgusting' union between human and Hoshigaki, and the other half fearing him as the reincarnation of their demonic progenitor, Samebito.

• Nibble is the current wielder of Samehada.
• Nibble earned his nickname after he took a bite out of a man who was publicly shaming his father when he was still a child.
• Nibble's trademark favorite food are 'Gummi Squids', and they act as a buffer to keep him from devolving into starvation. He's purchased so many over the years that he had actually managed to win a sweepstakes and has earned free Gummi Squids for life that are delivered to him weekly in a vault.
• Nibble's first (and best) friend is Namikaze "Izzy" Azrael. Together, they make up Hisame Haruyuki's team of students. Nibble's dedication to these two individuals is strong, and he is more than willing to lay his life on the line in order to make any of their dreams come true.
• Despite being the only character there with a legendary death bonus, Nibble actually placed 8th in the combat portion of the Metropolis Chuunin Exams. This was due to the fact that he had lost his first fight against Karitegaki Ami, and decided to forfeit when it came time to fight Namikaze "Izzy" Azrael in the final round, leaving him with only two victories, one of which never showed up. He did, however, come in first in the running portion of the exams, despite being slower than Karitegaki Ami.
• Nibble is known to engage in near-suicidal training sessions. This was instilled in him since he was a child thanks to his father's rough teachings. It would seem as though such trainings bore fruit, however, as Nibble is capable of tremendous feats of strength that most shinobi could not dream to match without the assistance of chakra. He also claims to be capable of training and surviving deep beneath the ocean at a water pressure of 2 tons.

• Nibble was capable of graduating from the academy at the age of 5, but his father refused to allow it and intentionally held him back. He believed that even if Nibble had the skills to become a shinobi, he did not have the mentality to do so. Instead, Oka personally trained Nibble in swordplay the day he turned 5 years old and onwards. Once Nibble was 10, Oka allowed him to go to the academy again in order to graduate, but his learning would be cut short by the NCIA invasion. Oka forbade Nibble from joining the resistance when it rose from the ashes of defeat, wanting to protect his son from becoming just another victim of the war. Once the war finally ended, Nibble was practically the first student in line on the day the academy re-opened. He passed with flying colors.
• Nibble is actually not the only Hoshigaki believed to be the reincarnation of Samebito. Hoshigaki Ceto, born three years later than Nibble, was also gifted with the Hoojiro at birth. However, unlike Nibble, she did not receive the stark white skin that came with it. This has lead to some internal conflict within the clan. As of the moment, however, both Nibble and Ceto appear to be indifferent to one another's existence.
• Shortly after the Metropolis Chuunin Exams, Nibble would seemingly disappear, never returning to Kirigakure no Sato. Instead, he was recruited by Endo Tsubasa to join his team to help overthrow the NCIA occupation in Yukigakure no Sato. Nibble joined willingly, seeing it as a chance to repay Tsubasa for saving his life during the yokai attack in Metropolis.
• Nibble had a one night stand with Kazegari Arisu the night before the Metropolis Chuunin Exams. The two have some complicated feelings towards one another that have yet to be resolved.

Out of Game Knolwedge; OOC

• Nibble's death bonus was originally going to be applied to Kinsen Heishin, however, after the character's bloodline became impossible to port over to 6.0 combined with the fact that his age made him a difficult character to roleplay with others, Nibble ultimately received the death bonus instead.
• Nibble's personality design is inspired by a mix of Grunt from the Mass Effect series, and Travis Touchdown from the No More Heroes series. In addition, Nibble also happens to be an odd mix between Hoshigaki Kisame and Rock Lee, with his father Oka existing as a combination of Hoshigaki Kisame and Maito Gai.
