Kazegari Arisu
Summary
Kazegari Arisu was a Jounin of Kirigakure no Sato and wielder of the legendary Seversword. She was born in Oni no Kuni, and had a traumatic childhood, but seemed to be recovering from her scars when she vanished shortly after the tournament in Arrakis. While it was initially thought that she had abandoned Kirigakure and become a missing ninja, her body was eventually discovered in the basement of a known drug house. She had died of an opiate overdose. Arisu was nearly illiterate so, although no suicide note was found, it was unclear whether or not her overdose was intentional.
While Arisu had struggled with a lifelong opiate addiction, even those close to her did not know its full scope. The whereabouts of her weapon are still unknown but it is assumed that the weapon is still located somewhere in Kaze no Kuni.

- Although Arisu held out hope that her older sister may have lived to adulthood, she actually died shortly after they were separated.
- When discovered, her body was too badly decomposed to make a proper identification. Eventually her headband and SHADAKI gear were traced back to her.
