Doragon Tenma is a childish yet hardworking Jounin of Mizu no Kuni who does whatever she can to keep her home safe, whether it be from simple troublemakers causing a ruckus or yokai running amok. She specializes in water ninjutsu, but has been experimenting with other elements. Despite her childish nature, she has been growing into the world around her, and hopes to see the good in it prosper.

Hair Color: Her hair is brown, long and straight. It is usually tied back loosely with hair hanging by her face on either side.
Eye Color: Blue. Pupils are reptilian in nature and can change in thickness depending on emotions.
Clothing:

• Mission Attire: Tenma wears an icy ocean blue shirt with white trimming on the edges that extends down to her knees, and a white band around her stomach. Underneath the shirt, she wears a dark mesh shirt with the sleeves stopping a little past her elbows. On her lower half she has on black shorts that stop just above the knee, and wears your standard ninja footwear in black. On her knees she wears mesh coverings that extend halfway up her thighs underneath her shorts. She wears the enameled village plate on a white bandana on her head, given to her by her twin brother, Grim, on the day of the Rinne Festival. Attached to her waist is a small messenger bag to hold tools, for errands or small shop deliveries. Loosely wrapped around her neck and sitting on her shoulders is the long, night blue scarf as smooth as silk, given to her by Asenaru Jaegu as a gift.
• Casual Attire: Tenma sticks to the basics with a comfortable, gray v-neck t-shirt, black shorts, and a pair of sensible sandals. She'll usually wear this on her days off, or when helping around her family's tea shop and making deliveries to customers.
  

Physical Description: Her body is of an average size, healthy for her height of 5'3”. She has soft, pale skin, but there is a single faint scar on her left arm from when her twin brother scratched her when they were young. On the back of her neck is a small rough patch of skin and there are two very small, hard growths on her head. These are both physical traits of the Doragon, though her true kekkei genkai may not even surface due to weakening genetics.

History

Birth

A young business man from Kumo once traveled to Kiri, feeling the need for a change of scenery. Scoping out his prospects, the man named Doragon Tsugo set up his own tea shop. Business started, tea sold and he saw one of the most charming blue eyed women he'd ever seen. She was telling him how well the tea at his shop would go with her favourite cookie. So the woman came back the next day with her homemade cookies and kindly offered him to try them. They were exactly what something homemade should taste like; amazing. And she was right, they went well with the tea. The woman's name was Anami. She had beautiful blue eyes, which he found difficult to look away from. After continuous accounts of courting, they fell in love and ended up getting married.

Not long after that, the newly married Anami became pregnant with child. The closer she got to date, the bigger her belly got and when it was time to take the cookies out of the oven, out came fraternal twins. Tsugo feared for his hand, as his wife had such a surprisingly strong grip while she went into labor. The twins were a sight to behold with striking blue eyes and their fathers pupils. They were born with the physical traits of the Doragon clan.

Childhood

In the early years of the twins childhood, Tenma had an immense interest in predators of the sea while she was learning about sea life in a nature book. Sharks in particular were her favourite. So much so, that when she first met a Hoshigaki clan member while out with her mother, she was completely fascinated. She began bombarding the Hoshigaki man with enough questions that Anami had to whisk her daughter away while profusely apologizing to the man. Luckily, the Hoshigaki man didn't seem too offended by it. Though once Tsugo caught wind of what Tenma had done, he found it a great source of teasing material. When ever he feels the need to get the upper hand, he drops the, "remember when you were little-" card.

While events unfurled in and around Mizu no Kuni, the twins were kept protected under the guiding wings of their parents, wanting their children to grow with pleasant memories. Not the striking memories of war and slaughter. After all, this was their home. Children always catch on quick to things their not supposed to though, especially the curious types. Despite the on goings around them, Tenma and her brother Grim were raised in a nurturing home, helping out with responsibilities around the tea shop. They made sure to keep in mind that not every one would be so fortunate to avoid the fighting; a lesson well remembered when banged up Shinobi had a few sparse moments to visit for tea.

As the twins grew, their curiosity and thirst for knowledge blossomed along side them. They read interesting books about nature in all its forms and asked plenty of questions, like about their family and its bloodline, and should they be mildly concerned about the two small growths on their heads. The most important question of all though: how can we keep our family safe?

Via limited explanation from their father, the twins learned of some changes that might come to pass. It was hard to grasp how this bloodline that may or may not develop worked. Was it something that happened gradually, or did it happen overnight? They had so many unanswered questions. As curious children do, despite pretending to be dragons at first, they then tried to develop their dragon traits on their own. Least to say, there were no side effects from anything they tried to do. Maybe some bruises and scratches, but that was it. They smartened up after a few attempts of leaping off tall walls in an attempt to sprout wings as a last maddening attempt. Both had had no such luck in bloodline development and were scolded not to rush things; that it would come to them in time.

Academy

At the age of 8, the twins were determined to attend the academy the first chance they could get and fulfill their desire to protect the home of their loving family. Anami wasn't so accepting of this at first, as any loving mother would rather their children stay safe, but after much convincing from Tsugo and the twins, she gave in. This was the path that they themselves wanted to walk after all, and both felt this was the appropriate first step to achieving that goal.

It didn't take long for them to get into the swing of things, their eagerness fueling their efforts at the academy. Their father requested of them to try and not ask so many questions and quote, "that you drive them crazy.” They did the best they could. Overall they enjoyed their time in the academy in a weird way, their determination driving them to the first cornerstone of becoming Gennin by the age of 12. Though that would be just the beginning of their journey.

Genin

Fresh from the academy, Tenma had been thrown into the responsibility of making delivery rounds to various individuals during a time of civil war in Kirigakure no Sato. Ever the helpful child, it was a tad similar to having to make deliveries for her parents around town from their tea shop, though all dealings during this time were strictly professional. After things had begun to settle down, the little dragon set about her duties as a Gennin of the Mist. She went on a number of missions with various different ninja, without really being part of a team herself. That was fine though, her curiosity was sated by all the different experiences and techniques she had gotten to see.

It was when she had teamed up with a Kaguya Kaneki, that things became truly interesting for her. Both the Kaguya and the little dragon came to guide and watch over a contractor by the name of Asenaru Jaegu, an interesting young man revealed to have six arms. They soon joined him in his contract work and the three of them became quick comrades, the spider choosing to reside within the Mist. Tenma began to question her ideals and her sense of duty while out on these contracts, her childish and naive outlook crumbling at the edges like a cookie. She was seeing the underbelly of her home in a new, darker light as terrible people and creatures began to dredge up from the scummy water below. It was getting harder and harder to strictly want to preserve life, and easier to justify snuffing out a few lives in order to protect the people she cares for, but also for the sake of her own survival.

Her journey from Genin to Chuunin was evident in this, as her exam was interrupted by The Prophet of Misogi and his summoned yokai. She fought tooth and scale against against the bipedal fish monster in her escape from the cavern within the Scar of Suijin. Within the cave itself, her exam proctor, Zandoran 'Fireheart' Zoa, had been fighting her own battle...escaping the cave shortly after, though the Fireheart fell unconscious once she made it past the entrance gate. Retreating from the bubbling ship graveyard, a gigantic creature with four glowing red eyes and mammoth sized tentacles breached the top of the mountain for which the cave resided. During their escape by boat, the ever large yokai tossed rock after rock to impede their progress. In the end, Tenma had made it to the other side of the watery battlefield and escorted the wounded Fireheart from the Scar of Suijin for some well needed medical treatment. The little dragon was rewarded for her efforts with a Chuunin vest, proving her determination, and a salamander crest that fashioned into a necklace from Zoa, for her bravery and courage.

A few thoughts lay in the back of her mind, bubbling like a thick, murky swamp. Just who was this Prophet of Misogi? What exactly was that giant, menacing yokai...and was it still out there in the Scar?

• A lover of cookies and various other sweets due to her mother's baking.

• Helps around her family's tea shop (The Green Dragon) in her free time. Because of her pleasant nature, she tends to be the customer's favorite waitress.
• Has no talent for drawing. They usually come out as childish scribbles.
• Likes to venture down to the docks and talk with the fishermen about their fish tales, especially with Mr. Urashima.
• She now eats sushi and seafood with gusto, for whatever reason, nobody is quite sure.

Private Knowledge; OOC

• Despite being a native of Kirigakure no Sato, Tenma has no real skill in steering a ship. Things tend to go wrong when she's at the helm. Eventually, she'd like to take lessons in order to remedy that issue.
• After the events at the Scar of Suijin, abnormally high salt content in the air puts her on edge...The Prophet of Misogi and his yokai summons having put a little fear in her.
• She refuses to talk about her Chuunin exam with her family as she doesn't want them to have to think about the dangers that are actually out there.
• The reason she eats sushi and other seafood with such determination is because of her battle with a bipedal fish yokai, during her Chuunin exam in the Scar of Suijin
• If Tenma hadn't become a kunoichi, she would have just worked at her family's tea shop and would eventually take over the business when her parent's decided to retire.
• Tenma can actually bake some really good cookies, due to the teachings of her mother, Anami.
