Born 'Uchiha Hatoha', Musashi is one of the oldest remaining Uchiha, and is believed to be one of Uchiha Sasuke's grandchildren. Living a relatively quiet life, Musashi's world would be turned upside down the day Uzumaki Naruto's reign ended with his inevitable death. The Uchiha watched as the entire world of politics came undone, and was horrified by the total chaos that the Rokudaime Hokage's presence had been holding back all of this time. In time, Musashi grew to become a jaded and bitter man, believing that the world of shinobi could not continue moving in the direction it was going for very much longer.

Eventually Kumogakure no Sato took the world by storm, demolished the other shinobi nations, before creating a single unified academy system and forging the NCIA. Musashi saw wisdom in what Kumogakure was trying to accomplish and joined the NCIA in hopes that the world could be capable of the unity that Uzumaki Naruto brought to the world decades prior.

Despite his decision, Musashi's children and grandchildren rose against the NCIA, fighting back due to their intense nationalism. It was only a matter of time before they met on the field of battle, but it wasn't even a contest. Musashi slew his spawn so quickly that he did not even recognize who they were until it was too late. Distraught and devoid of all hope, the Uchiha gouged out his Sharingan and retreated from the battlefield, deciding to live out the rest of his days as a hermit seeking penance.

As time passed, Musashi realized that he would not remain in this world much longer. He was growing too old, and his body was betraying him. He wished to pass down some of his most prized techniques to those in the next generation whom he believed were worthy of them. This lead him to Otogakure no Sato, where he'd arrange for a meeting with Cho Hakkai. Even without eyes, Musashi could see the peaceful soul laying dormant in the Hachinin, and offered to train the young man his signature technique that had been passed down over the years within his clan- the Chidori.

Nowadays, Musashi continues to wander, seeking peace to quell his troubled soul.

Trivia

General Knowledge Available to Public; IC

• Musashi has not returned to Hi no Kuni since his defection from the NCIA.
• As a result, Musashi seems to have taken up residence in Denchi no Kuni to some degree, but he does not appear to be working for Otogakure no Sato directly.

Private Knowledge; OOC

• Musashi now has prosthetic eyes designed and created for him by Kinsen 'Raz' Rasen. While they are no replacement for the Sharingan, the eye design is capable of maintaining clear vision when moving at high speeds to allow him to use the Chidori accurately once again.
