Otogakure no Sato
Otogakure no Sato, or the “Village Hidden in Sound’, is the the Shinobi Village of the Country of Rice Fields, Denchi no Kuni. It is one of the youngest, if not the youngest, full fledged shinobi village, and has done extremely well for itself despite its age. The village is located in the slightly southwestern portion of Denchi no Kuni within a small mountain range, and otherwise is pretty obvious as it is simply a large city. The ninja of this village are trained in Sound Type Ninjutsu, as well as other traditional shinobi arts.
Otogakure no Sato is one of the more interesting villages on the continent. It serves not only as the ninja headquarters for the entire country, but also acts as the capital. This means that the Kyoukage acts as the ruler of the entire country, and not only its military as is the case in the majority of other countries. It is a modern city, and the most modernized in the entire country. However, it is still lacking behind other villages and capitals and has much room for improvement. Then again, being a modern red light town isn't exactly something to brag about. The village has many attractions like the bazaar and the arena. Also, the old legends and mystery that history has wrapped around the village keep tourism a popular trade of the village itself, people come from all over the world hoping to find mystery here. The city has some big stores, but mostly townhouses and small homes of the sort. The average height of any building in the village is two stories, to find any higher is an extreme rarity. The town has a simple look to it, keeping its design to fit the more traditional feel of the country. Being more of a festivous city, many carnivals happen throughout the year. Most official business is done through the Kyoukage Tower, making it the official head of the government as well as the ninja headquarters.

Considering that the country has only had a village for under 100 years, a majority of the land throughout the countryside is composed of farmers, growing rice and exporting it to every country in the known continent. This makes the country essential to the trade of the continent, due to how much rice is typically used in each country. Due to this, unless the people live within Otogakure no Sato, a majority of them most likely live scattered across the country, tending to their own farms, and bringing their crops to the capital in order to sell their goods, in which would be exported out to the rest of the world.
As for shinobi, since Otogakure no Sato is not only the main ninja headquarters, the importance of ninja in the village itself takes a back seat to the government duties and power. However, this is not a bad thing as this means that the revenue for the country is all coming through the one village. As such, a majority of the wealth that comes into the city never leaves it, being poured into its residence and ninja. The logic behind it is that the more advanced the shinobi, the more money is brought into the village, the more technology that can be developed.
