Biography
At first glance, Ritsuka is a quiet, unassuming man, with dazed thoughts and a lazy smile. He often appears to be in a stupor, with a wavering walk and difficulty remembering or stringing thoughts together.
But underneath his frail and disoriented nature lays a fearful power that even Ritsuka cannot fully control. A natural misalignment of his chakra gates leads to unpredictable and uncontrollable fluctuations in strength and temperament, with fearful spikes in power making him a danger to himself and others. Because of this, he relies on a neurotoxin to keep his inhuman strength and temperament in check, even if it gives him a hazy grasp on reality. While these drugs greatly diminish his skill on a day-to-day basis, high levels of stress or pain can kick his system into overdrive, unleashing the berserker within.
These two conflicting sides have earned him the epithet "Half-Demon"; one minute he is a smiling, and spaced out, the next, a raging demon.
