Yoshida Kasumi
Kasumi is quite the quirky girl, whose frontal aura would give off shades of snobbishness and spoiled brat, however that face only goes skin deep. She in, actually, quite caring and intimate which translates into give many people nicknames and teasing them relentlessly. The annoying and odd tendencies came out of survival instincts from when she was little and thusly carried over. However, in the years of maturation she has matured a bit. Her clear cut teal eyes still doll on most males, along with her long flowing peach hair fashioned with two native flowers in her hair. Wrapped around her forehead is a white ribbon with flowers and sun, guarding against falling bangs and hiding her father’s Sharingan underneath. Nowadays, she is often seen with her personal guard Honochi Emil.

History
Kasumi was born before the Kumogakure war to Yoshida Arashi and Yoshida Ayame, the Daimyo and his wife. Before Arashi had become Daimyo, he was an avid member of the Konohagakure, part of the elite team 19 paired with Uchiha Kasumi and Matsu Soramaru, taking on missions that some people wouldn’t even dream of touching. Kasumi fell in combat, passing off her eyes to both men in respect. The two accepted the rite and continued ranking up in the village superlatively. Try as they might, they couldn’t achieve the Mangekyou by peaceful means, so they made a deal to the death. Void of anger, the two fought for the inheritance with cold professionalism. At this point they had lost their emotions, living as tools in the shadows of their souls. Arashi had stumbled away, holding both the terrors of Magekyou and the Snake contract.
In his old years, he eventually found love, or what he convinced himself was love. It wasn’t to the standards of the typical form of love. He got rich and thusly had women after him, he selected one and had a child with her. Even though he murdered his emotions, they were like a phoenix once Kasumi was born and what little he had left was devoted, not towards Ayame, but towards Kasumi. They had a manageable life, putting on a show for twelve years- until Arashi’s country fell to Kumogakure’s grip. In his strong and weathered mind, he knew that there was no hope for the Leaf to survive, so he betrayed his country in hopes of saving what was left of it. A Hyuuga by the name of Sai became the Daimyo over Hotarunoshi until he dropped dead due to an illness. Frantic for a replacement, the NCIA knew well Arashi’s track record and he ascended and ruled for years. But when he was selected, he had to cut ties with his family, for they were at risk. Kasumi continued to train under the NCIA establishment, revering her for her chakra sensing ability. He tried ruling peacefully, but that never happened, the youthful counter culture rebelled and every morning when he woke up he knew he’d have to die for the revolution to be complete. Sitting Kasumi down and explaining everything, it was too much for the sixteen year old- but he knew his time was drawing near. Soon he’d face the personification of his grave- Hyuuga Yatako. Squaring off in honor, as Arashi lived by through and through, he was killed- embraced death even. But in a sixteen year olds mind, she couldn’t understand that. No, she saw a murderer kill her father and swore revenge.
Not too long later, she snuck into Konohagkure and purposely took mission after mission in Yatako’s presence. Acting like a doll near him, gathering all the information she could. But all the more, a tiny piece inside of her was unconvinced. He seemed too peaceful, too caring to be a murderer- but that didn’t take away her pain. Things were going well until Yatako placed her on a team with other misfits. An Uchiha, a Hyuuga and a Cycloptic boy- all of which were her past memories colliding. Naturally she took an attraction to the Uchiha and Tsubasa, but never towards the Hyuuga. It wasn’t until she saw Yatako take a sword to his stomach, did she know his anguish for her father’s death. Try as he might, the Hokage couldn’t convince the Daimyo to concede. Breaking down and finally trusting in him, Kasumi trained with him, traveled with him and inherited her father’s will.
Yatako and Kasumi both learned formal politics from a man Yatako fought with- Sarutobi Zakarou. The pair also trained with the turncoat Okaryuu Toruka. The Hokage both healed them of their shadowy past and built them to be strong warriors in physical strength and active citizens. It was only natural that Kasumi would become the next Daimyo- but in order for her to continue training, Yatako served as her assistant. The two of them together conducted the entire country, pulled funds and invested into many projects to rebuild their country. With a high population and stored resources, the Country of Fire rebuilt in record time, paid off debts and stabilized their economy. It was like a dream come true, but only accessible because many people put in hours of community service and in return, their crimes against the Leaf were wiped away. The duo gave the entire country a clean slate.
When she was eighteen, Yatako confronted her, offering her the Sharingan Arashi had left behind and asked for him to take. Scared at first, she accepted, but she didn’t want to lose her teals, so instead they tried a risky surgery to attach the eye directly into her forehead. The operation was done in secret in the Hinata Hospital, but luckily she made a complete recovery. In the next two years she invested in projects such as the maritime stimulus, tourism and better transportation. The Hokage and the Daimyo often hold celebrations and festivals, giving crafters jobs and even let somee private companies fund the hospital the academy. However, once she was approached with the chance to help Otogakure, she ceased perusing those projects and other vigorously and is currently devoting all she can to stabilizing their neighbor. She firmly believes that forming an alliance with the neighboring country would be beneficial for both.
