Kaguya Mukeiko (かぐや無形子, Mukieko Kaguya), sometimes known by Kofuku (小福) is a member of the Kaguya Clan and a D-Rank Missing Ninja of Otogakure no Sato. During her early years, Mukeiko was a talented trainee and was expected to again bring a level of international prestige to the Kaguya of Otogakure. Due to the unfortunate circumstances that befell her immediately family following the death of her father, she was never able to complete her graduation into an official Genin of Otogakure no Sato. Her time in the forced servitude of Denchi no Kuni’s criminal underground has jaded her outlook and resulted in a murderous disposition. She currently wanders the world, searching for something to grant her a sense of purpose.

Background

Prologue; A Pound of Flesh

The story of Kaguya Mukeiko's begins with the death of her father. As an Otogakure shinobi, a member of the prestigous and infamously durable Kaguya clan, the man who served as little more than a stern hand in her early upbringing had passed while on a mission, leaving Mukeiko and her mother to fend for themselves. Her mother had been reliant both fiscally and emotionally upon Mukeiko's stoic-mannered father and consequently fell into psychological shambles upon the death of the man, leading her to dive headlong into the brutal world of the Otogakure underground through a most sinister of vices: an addiction to narcotics. Though Mukeiko struggled to keep her mother well maintained and her habit under control, she was ultimately powerless to stop the woman's perversion into a shadow of her former self. Without proper money to keep herself well supplied, the woman fell into prostitution and eventually indebted herself severely to the criminal circles that dictated Denchi no Kuni's shadows. When her own body was unable to fill her monetary requirement, her desperation turned to Mukeiko. The girl, still young at the time, was unable to properly defend herself from the men who came to retrieve her-- and that was the last she saw of Otogakure no Sato.
In the hands of the criminal underground, Mukeiko was exchanged from owner to owner over several years, with each finding their own unique use for her ranging from the mundane to the perverse. Some years into her servitude, it was discovered that she possessed an advanced regenerative capacity; this revelation caused for a sudden exchanging of ownership and painful shift in lifestyle. Her ability to survive injury that would have killed or maimed other humans allowed her to be used as a twisted plaything for those individuals on society's fringes with particularly disturbing tastes. Mukeiko was at this time lovingly referred to as Kofuku, or "Small Fortune", as she had earned her keepers a significant amount of Ryo during her 'performances'.
Only when she discovered her ability to manipulate her superhuman skeletal structure did the young Kaguya hatch a scheme to orchestrate her escape. During one 'performance', she used her bone manipulation to make a wound seem as though it was not healing and force the clients at the time to depart and retrieve her handler. When the handler had arrived to inspect her, she pulled the "broken" bone from her arm and stabbed the man repeatedly in his face and chest before fleeing into the wilderness of Denchi no Kuni.
Though her psychological state had been damaged dramatically by the ordeal of her recent years, Mukeiko attempted to return to Otogakure and seek asylum within the ranks of the shinobi. When she arrived, she discovered that Kumogakure no Sato had already since invaded the village and tore down the institution of shinobi. Having lost what last tatters of 'hope' remained, she fled Otogakure and vowed to again locate her mother and punish her for the ordeal that she had been put through. Years have passed since then, and though she has continued to grow in ability, Mukeiko has remained unsuccessful in accomplishing her singular goal. As a way of caring for herself, she turned to mercenary and criminal work, resulting in her eventual classification as a minor missing-nin.

Personality

Kaguya Mukeiko is but a product of her upbringing. Having rarely been allowed affection in sobriety even before being made into the plaything of another, Mukeiko has a noticeable inability to relate on an emotional level to those around her. The harshness of the world that she was made to live in has molded her mental state into such a pattern that it considers her environments through a purely selfish light. Those around her typically shown any measure of respect, or sometimes even acknowledgement, if Mukeiko has determined that those individuals have an immediate use to her. In this, she is not afforded the mercy of foresight, and she will often react cruel and callously to those who do not serve an immediate purpose with little regard to what future boon their presence might bring. Such a mentality bridges its way through any and all of her interpersonal relationships: those who she would consider "friends" remain such only as long as they provide an immediate boon to her, or have proven themselves amusing in some way. More often than not, her companionship is found in the presence of the deft or the mentally inept, given that she finds their peculiar habits and social skills comedic-- even when they fail to accomplish a task that she has requested of them, she finds the bumbling apologies of an idiot endearing.
Going hand in hand with her social quirks is a complete disregard for the value of another's life. To Mukeiko, life is a curiously fragile thing- one that is interesting to study, to bend, to test, and even to break. She has a habit of savoring each kill individually that has evolved into an almost full-fledged hobby made of testing others' limitations. Put more frankly, the girl enjoys murder of many varieties, though she practices this pleasure carefully, sure only to fill the need when she is certain that she can not be made immediately responsible. Every death that she inflicts upon an unwilling participant adds to her understanding of human mortality and her own life. Beyond simple amusement, there is a repeating verse within her mind that compels her to find understanding for the injury of her own existence in the demise of others; she feels that somehow, somewhere, there is an individual whose death will finally grant to her clarity as to her own purpose.
Purpose... This is perhaps the sorest of spots within Mukeiko's mind. She has struggled all of her life to find a reason for why things have occurred as they did, how she was allowed to survive the ordeal that molded her into who she was, and how a higher power- if any existed -could allow men such as those to exist. When her own reasons and purpose for living are called into question, Mukeiko grows violently angry and will typically lash out at the individual questioning her, regardless of who it was.

Appearance

In previous years, Mizumono preferred her hair to be cropped short with messy and uneven cuts, using her very appearance as a means to rebel against the heavy-handed manipulations of her family. Time had mended her need for rebellion and allowed her to begin wearing her hair straightened and unadorned as she grew into adulthood. With her physical form reverted and a mind now mostly mended, she has taken to a combination of the two styles that help her to reclaim a bit of who she once was. Her corvid stands are now worn tied into a high ponytail with messy bangs allowed to hang at either side of her expression, framing her the sharp features of her face. Her eyes are sharply formed, but bright with inquisitive energy; it is not uncommon to see her eyes crinkling with a wide and infectious smile. Though shimmering with continual excitement, the ashen hue of Mizumono's gaze often gives her the appearance that she is looking through or past an individual rather than at them.
Despite having her body subject to the strange flows of age manipulation, the petite kunoichi remains very much as she ever was. The creme hue of her skin is stretched taught over well toned musculature indicative of a considerable amount of physical training. She is diminutive and svelte, holding soft and subtle slopes that indicate that she has yet again to travel through the entirety of her growth into woman-hood. Her features are fine and well formed, granting her an aesthetic of budding elegance.

Civilian Attire

The civilian attire of this particular Hyūga is modest and proper. She prefers wearing a large assortment of traditionally crafted yukata when the weather permits such weather, and often even when it does not. Beneath this, she usually wears clashing sports-wear that allows her to spring free from the tight trappings of her public regalia if the situation calls such for it. She has shown a great preference to the colors of red and white as well as floral designs.

Mission Attire

The battle garb of a shinobi varies wildly from wearer to wearer as well as between regions. In the case of Mizumono, she tends to prefer traditional styles with modern ones. She typically wears a short kimono with long, wide sleeves that allow her to obscure the motions of her hands and arms with ease. She wears her shinobi vestments over top of this kimono, preferring those flak jackets and armoring that have little ornamentation and instead are selected with simply to math the coloration of her attire. She wears standard shinobi sandals of the variation that stretch up the length of her legs, stopping midway up her thighs. Given that she was previously well known as an imperial criminal and a key member of Konohagakure's resistance movement, she has taken to wearing masks when outside of the village as to prevent former enemies from exploiting her recent decrease in strength.
