Countering/Response Phase Jutsu

Jutsu that are used to Counter in the Response Phase do not do damage. If they do so, the user may not attack in the Main Phase. Countering a Jutsu should have a cost of X where X = damage of the attack. There are exceptions to this rule that will be made on a case-by-case basis.



Multi-Rank Jutsu

Jutsu that have the effect at 'Gennin does this, Chuunin does this' will not be allowed. Instead, the Jutsu will be split into Ranks (as are skills) and will have to be learned again at the appropriate level. This is a balancing tool, and encourages players to use those Jutsu slots wisely.



Area of Effect Jutsu

Area of Effect jutsu always hit. They effect everyone on the battlefield unless stated otherwise.

Cost:Damage Ratio
Gennin: 4:1 (120 chakra for 30dmg)
Chuunin: 3:1 (90 chakra for 30dmg)
Jounin+ 2:1 (60 chakra for 30dmg)

Gennin 1:1
Chuunin 4:5
Jounin+ 1:2

(example: 10 Chakra + 10 Stamina = 20 Damage for Gennin)


Genjutsu
Cost:Stat Reduction
Gennin 2:3
Chuunin 1:2
Jounin+ 2:5

(example: 20 chakra spent = -30 to a chosen stat for Genin)



Damage Caps

Gennin: 60
Chuunin: 120
Jounin: 280
Kage/Sennin: 500
Forbidden: 1000



Status Effect Costs

(ex. Blind costs 50 'damage' points, the max a Gennin could do is is 10 damage + Blind for 60)

Blind: 50/turn (max 150) Gennin may only use ONCE per enemy per battle.

Hamstrung: 15/turn (max 45)

Stunned: 50. (max 50) Opponent is not affected by Stunned if they were stunned in the previous turn. Gennin may only use ONCE per enemy per battle.

Fazed: 15/turn (max 30)

Deafened: 15/turn (max 30)

Tired: 5/turn (max 30)

Enraged: 10/turn on self (max 20) 15/turn on opponent (max 30)

Ensnared: 25/turn (max 75) Gennin may only use ONCE per enemy per battle.

Distracted: 20/turn (max 40)

Scared: 10/turn (max 30)

Immobilized: 50/turn (max 100) Gennin may only use ONCE per enemy per battle.

Sickened: 25/turn (max 75)

Prone: 15/turn on self (30 max), 25/turn on opponent (50 max)

Startled: 10/turn (20 max)

Enlarged: 30

Shrunk: 30

Asleep: 50/turn (max 150)

Dizzy: 40/turn (max 80)

Bleeding: +0.8X * turns (max 3) where X is the Damage of the move.

Kage/Sennin: 500
Forbidden: 1000

***Ninjutsu can only be used with master. Exception is Beast Human Clone (Juujin Bunshin), only exception.

-These Guidelines are subject to change if there is need.

-On extremely rare (quite near never) will Jutsu be Approved that are outside of these Guidelines.
