Approvals:
To get anything approved you must have 2 or 3 admins/mods approve it. And it can only be the mod/admin assigned to that area. You can see who is assigned each area on the staff page. In the staff page it is listed how many approvals are needed for each area. This applies to anything custom, from your character to techniques.
The purpose of teams:
Teams are made up of 1 Jounin and 3 Gennin. After a team is assembled, Gennin report to their Jounin at the desired meeting place. From there, Jounins take their Gennin through the required survival training, and eventually take them on missions. As they continue through training/missions, the Gennins will eventually be able to take the Chuunin exam. If they pass, they will move up to the next rank(Chuunin), and will no longer be part of the their previous team. They will most likely end up with their own team one day. Others that do not become Chuunins right away will remain in their team as a Gennin until they do. That is the main purpose of teams.
Jounin and Team Absenses
If a Jounin Teacher is going to be away for awhile and knows this, they should post in the admin area about this and have people take over their teams until they return.
If a Jounin teacher is gone for a week without any notice of being gone, their team wil be given away to another mod/admin till their return, given they have an excuse.
If a teammate is going to be away then MUST tell their jounin via PM.
If a teammate is gone for 2 weeks without any notice they are removed from the team and replaced by someone that is waiting to be in the village or the team continues with just 2 members, as if one of them had passed the chuunin exam.
If a teammate is continually slow at posting, more so than they indicated on their character sheet, the jounnin teacher should contact them via PM and tell them 2 post more or be kicked out of the team.
Free Role Play Rules
Notice: These apply to characters within the Free Role Play, not the stat based one.
Leveling and its bonuses:
-To attain a level one must post excessive amounts of lines depending on your current level.
-Your character's level determines whether you may advance to chunin rank, and how many jutsus you may posses.
Level 1-10 Requires 100 XP
Level 11-20 Requires 200 XP
Level 21-40 Requires 300 XP
Level 41-80 Requires 400 XP
Level 81-Forever Requires 500 XP
There is a catch, when you train to recieve pets, weapons and jutsus* the xp required to learn them is added to your Total XP helping you level.
*You only add half of the XP of jutsus to your TXP
-----------------------
Jutsus and Techniques:
To gain a jutsu you must type a total of 70 Lines.
If you are in a group each person lowers that amount by 20. So:
1 Person=70 Lines
2 People=50 Lines
3 People= 30 Lines
The most it can be lowered to is 30.
-----------------------
Bloodlines:
Each rank will have the set amount of lines to learn it, this will be determined by the approval staff.
The first rank's may be taken at character creation without having to fulfil the set amount of lines.
If the user wishes to obtain the first rank after character creation they have to fulfil the set amount of lines.
-----------------------
Weapons cost money, as do attributes.
-----------------------
Evasion and Accuracy:
This is a staple in Free Role Plays, submitting to attacks and roleplaying extroadinary dodges. No chance system will be used, only the foundation that no one will godmod.
-----------------------
Money will be gained through missions, or gained through other sources such as jounin or other characters. You may sell your items also for half the price that they were purchased for.
Aging Rules
In this RPG you can age at any time you want, though we suggest that you age with your friends and/or teammates, since it will be more realistic. Though once you hit a certain age you will begin to lose stats. This is to show weakness with the elderly, etc. It also helps to keep things realistic. Here is how it works...
-Once you hit the age of 60, for every year after than you will lose 1/30 your stat points. This will continue until you have 1/3 your starting stats, which will be 80 years old. You will then stay at that point until you hit 100, where your stat points are cut in half.
-You may choose where the stat points are taken away.
-Most people will die way before this point.
Location Rules
~You are allowed to be in another place besides your training for purposes of role playing only. If you are on a mission though, u cannot have a practice going, and vice versa.
~Though if you are in a practice, you may be somewhere else in the RPG. This is explained by saying you are training during the morning or late night.
~If you are on a mission though, you may not be in another place, for role-playing or practice purposes.
~Traveling Rules~
If you wish to travel from one village to another here is the proccess you must take. When you are visiting another village your member group will be changed to " Visitor". So, for example, if you are visiting Suna. Your member group will be called "Suna Visitor".
1. If you are a gennin you must ask your jounin teacher first. If you are not a gennin, or do not have a teacher, skip this.
2. Ask your village Kage if you may travel to certain villages. This is so the Kage knows where everyone is in case of an attack.
3. If you have permission from steps 1 and 2, PM and admin to change your permission mask. Makes sure to say in the PM who your jounin is, and who the Kage is. (Character Name and Account Name)
4. Post in the "Traveling" forum that you are moving from one place to another. Check out the table below for info on posts from one village to another. If you are going to a place that is not on the table, PM and admin for an amount of posts.
5. Once you post the posts, you can then post in the village you are visiting. But be sure to account for time. If you heard about an event in your village and your try and travel to the village it is in to participate, be sure you take into account that it took at least a day for your character to hear about it, and another day for you to get there.
*N-V = Non-Village Locations
*() = If by boat[to/from Kiri only]

Inter-Village Communication
To communicate with another character who is in another village you must send them a note/letter somehow, or arrange to talk to them in person somehow. The first choice would be the easiest and make most sense. Each village has in it's "Streets" Area a pinned topic called "Post Office". In these areas you post who you want to send the letter two and the type of shipping you would like to use. You then PM the person yourself with the letter. If you do not pay the postal services you cannot send the letter. So if you PM them without the postal services, they are not allowed to use that information in game, as the letter was never really sent. See the postal areas in each village for more info. Missing-nin are not allowed to use the postal services unless given permission by the Kage of that village or role-play it very well.
Missing-nin Rules
~Rules~
-You are not part of a village, and cannot take part in events/tournaments or exams in any village. The only exceptions to this will be if someone can role play there way into. I.E. steal an identity, etc. But this will be very hard.
-Since you cannot advance in rank (chuunin > jounin, etc) you can start learning things as if you were that rank once you hit the highest level of the rank before it. So you can start learning Chuunin techs at level 25 and jounin techs at level 50.
-You will spend most of your time in the Non-Village Location forum.
~Hunting~
While being a missing-nin, there will be a team or Hunter-nin seeking you. In the beginning it will probably be NPC's, but later it will be real characters.
-Once a week the hunter-nin will roll a 1d100 die. They will then take that roll, add their ninja level, and subtract the missing-nin's level. Only the head of the squad will do this roll, and only once a week. If they roll over 90 they find you and they can confront you. This will either lead to a battle, or some other struggle where you will have to escape. Though the Hunter-nin may not want to fight you if you are protected, etc.
Level Limits
These are the highest level you can be at each level. Only Genin and Chuunin have a level cap. Once you become a Jounin the sky is the limit.
Genin : 25
Chuunin : 50
Jounin : No cap
Shinobi Times:
This will be a weekly news report released on the Forums that will keep our member updated on what's happening in the NA world. It will have many topics including, but no limited to, Ninja Tip of the Week, World News, Market Reports, Country Reports, Up-coming Events. It will be available to all members excepted into a village. You can find it at the top of the forums in the news section.
Transfusions
-To take a blood transfusion you must be clanless.
-You need the approval of the clan leader to get a transfusion.
-A base of 25$ To get the clan blood in general.
You have to pay 75$ To gain acess to rank 1 clan blood.
Then 50$ for each additional rank.
You must choose someone to roll on a d100 for you.(preferably an admin)
25+: Life on transfusion
25 and under: Death
If you are resurected after dieing in a transfusion you must reduce 25% of your stats, 25% of your total.
Say you had 1000 in total, times it by .25= 250 must be minused, like negitive distribution.(if you need help ask staff)
Bloodline Stealing Rules
If your opponent dies as a result of battle, your character is capable of dismembering and retrieving a part of his body involved with his bloodline. The following rules apply:
-The opponent must be dead. Unconscious, tranquilized, or any other form of living disablement is not sufficient.
- You may only choose one part of the opponent to take, and it must apply to his bloodline (IE Sharingan Eyes, Byakugan Eyes, Etc… If there is no physical trait, then you must take their entire body to use all of their blood)
- You only receive bloodline traits that the original host of the body part you took had. You can gain more ranks of the bloodline in the same matter you always would.
- The amount of traits you may steal pertains to the amount of “slots” you have on the body. That is, 2 eyes, 2 arms, two legs, etc...
-For paired organs such as the eyes, the upkeep cost is doubled unless you have both of the organ. For non-paired organs the cost is normal.
-All stolen traits must be surgically implanted. The amount of days you spend in the hospital will vary depending on the complexity or size of the body part.
-Once you have had the body part implanted, you have full access to all of the bloodline's powers and are treated as a member of that clan for all intents and purposes, except for limitations on teh number of clan members.
-Make sure to get at least 2 Admin's to approve of this. They may say that the body part is unsufficient, but with enough role playing behind it they will allow it.
Death and Bonuses
This is where you go when your character dies. You may request to be brought back to life, but only in the same week your character died. But there are benefits to death...your next character will gain certain advantages. Here are the advantages for your first, second, third, fourth, and fifth character. But you have to get passed the first two weeks with your character before your next character can have advantages. After your 5th character the cycle starts over again. In order to gain the benefits for your next character, they must have completed their current goals. If they do not have any goals an Admin will pick if you gain the bonuses or not. All decisions on whether you get bonuses or not are up to the admins, so if you plan on just killing off your characters so you can get more powerful, think again, you will get no bonues.
You may also, with admin permissions, be able to start your next character at 75% TXP of your recently deceased character. You can have the death bonuses, etc, but you retain 75% of your TXP. But this does not mean you keep the same character. Everything except your TXP and ninja rank (gennin, chuunin, etc.) are reset. So you basically are a new character, but you are starting at lvl __ instead of lvl 0. This means you only know 2 techniques aside from the beginner techs. All skills, techniques, etc. from your old character are lost. Also, all the stat points you place into your character are free from bonuses. So they are not effected by gifted, etc, just like a new character. If you have any other questions regarding this, please PM cntrstrk14 or Aether.
First Character : Gains nothing
Second Character : Slightly Gifted- This character is born with uncommon knowledge and understanding of the ninja way and world. Most of them are commonly mistaken for geniuses or prodigies. e They will also be blessed in one of their stats. (A good example of this would Sasuke or Temari).
Bonuses: + 100 Stats on their Character sheet, starts at level one and free gifted for one skill.
Third Character : Genius/Super Genius - This character is born with an abnormal knowledge of the world and everything around them. Able to do the hard of problems with ease, with an I.Q. of some between 145-200 (Super Genius is over 200) there is next to nothing they can’t do. In some way this must be added to the character’s personality. ( A good example would be Neji (normal) a or Shikamaru (Super).)
Bonuses: + 200 (normal) or 250 (super) stats, start at level 2, free gifted for one skill. It takes them 5 less posts to learn a technique. Must always make at least one post.
*Note:A mod/Admin will roll a d100 if 50 or lower is rolled then you will be a Genius, if more then 50 is rolled you will be a super Genius.
Forth Character : Prodigy- Throughout all ninja history the ones that are most commonly remembered are the gifted ninjas know only as “prodigies”. Prodigies are born extremely gifted or later in their lives revealed to be gifted. Able to do the hard of problems with ease, with an I.Q. of some between 180-200+ there is next to nothing they can’t do. Most prodigies are cooky, stuck-up or show offs (Please pick one of the three), thinking that they are the greatest ninja alive(. A Good example would be Kakshi or Itachi)
Bonuses:+ 250 stats, starts at level 2, free gifted for two skill. It takes them 7 less posts to learn a technique. Must always make at least one post. Born with a bloodline skill and my level them one rank less (Chunnin may have a Jounnin level bloodline.) May be a Gennin at a very young age (5-8).
Fifth Character : Demon sealed- Born with a demon sealed within them (MUST be explained in great deal in the character’s background. They will not be gifted in anyway, treated as outcast freaks and monsters for just being born different. Most demon sealed bearers become cold and bitter. (A good example would be Naruto or Gaara)
Bonuses: Demon sealed
