What's new on Ninja Academy! The embers of war flicker brightly as conflict between Konohagakure and Sunagakure reaches an all time high. The release of Uchiha Nevan from his confinement by the S Rank criminal Asuka Hikari and her rumored ties to the leaf village have brought long simmering tensions to the boil. Alliances are being checked, old debts called in, and the wider world looks on to see who dares make the first strike. Elsewhere in the world, Denchi no Kuni’s drought has carried on with no signs of abatement. In spite of the efforts of Otogakure’s many allies, nothing has changed. It is like the land itself is cursed with death, and day by day the casualties rise. As war looms closer, the vital life lines of supplies from both Konoha and Suna threaten to dry up, and doing so might spell the end of this once proud nation once and for all. In Kumogakure their outward appearance is one of power and pride, but deep within the Lightning county’s heart resentment grows. Vocal members of the populace rise up to speak out against the ruling shinobi, and vanish just as quickly, but for how long can this go on? As war rears its head once more in the world, will Kumogakure be able to lend support to its allies, or will it be consumed in chaos of its own making instead? War has ended between the forces of Iwagakure and Yukigakure, with the finale bringing the country of Snow under occupation by its southern neighbor. Yukigakure ninja now work in Iwagakure, but tensions are still high as many will not soon forget the loved ones lost in the war and attacks leading to it.
