Shimo Iouma and her wolf partner Ton were first encountered in a Yuki no Kuni resistance hideout in the mountains in the north eastern portion of the country between Kura-Okami Point and Hyouden. Iouma appeared to be the leader of the group of resistance members which included Bao Quinn, Wo Uri and Claude von Taul.
