OK, let's go... ~User Data~ -Username: Arashi -Posting: so often I can... -Time Zone: Madrid (GMT+1) Name: Nara Arashi Village: Konoha Clan: Nara Rank: Chuunin Age: 13 (12 when he was promoted to gennin) ~Appearance~ -Height: 1,57m -Weight: 47kg -Hair Color: Darkhaired -Eye Color: totaly black -Clothing: white shirt and darkblue pants, have a ninjamask (only for the mouth) -Physical Description: Normal bodied (maybe a little slim, but still have muscles), normal skintoned, no scars (yet) Story/Background: Arashi was a completely normal boy when he was young. He comes from a very respectable family and his father was a famous ninja in the village. He was realy conected with his father and he had a realy happy growness. But one day his family were atacked by some mysterious ninjas from another village. The mysterious ninjas took his father to an unknown place. Many members of the Nara clan died protecting Arashis father, but it was useless. The young Arashi saw all, and that marked him for the rest of his life. From that day Arashi have been a distant boy, who doesn't talk if it isn't nessesary and that allways wear his ninjamask for the mouth. At the academy he didn't trought very high marks, but he had a incredible easyness too learn things, in special ninjutsus and genjutsus. Actualy he lives with his mother and little sister and have the dream of be a great ninja, like his father was, and one day find him. More recent background (what have occured me during the RP): Arashi was taken by a jounin named Nekura. He was putted in in an already experienced team, with Hyuuga Jotenks and Uchiha Renaro, both from respected clans. But Arashi didn´t get disapointed. At first he was trained separately by Nekura, but after some time he begun to train with the others. His first fight was with Jotenks (a friendly fight, off course). Arashi won, demostrating that he had surpassed his teammates. Only a minutes after his first victory, Nekura left them and said that they were strong enough to train for their own. Another gennin, named Uchiha Tsunami, a gennin that had been member of that team time before, appeared, and proposed them to join him in a mission. But first he said he wanted to prove their strenght. The first one was Arashi, who was confiated from the previous battle. Arashi losed, and he only hit Tsunami one time. Time after, Tsunami prooved he was a spy from another village, and killed Jotenks, who was his target. That was the last time the Nara boy heard something from Tsunami for a long time, while booth his teammates got killed by Tsunami. Arashi maked some missions for his own, and a time after he joined a big team of gennins leaded by Kokuei, one of the strongest gennins in Konoha, to complete a C-ranked mission, which was a success. After they maked a D-mission, followed by training in the forest. But in the middle of the training a big explosion was heard from Konoha; the war had begun. During the war the young Arashi was asigned to first help his clan, and after that help the civils. The war finnished after only a hours, and Arashi survived. Many of his clan died, but his nearest family survived also. But he hadn´t much time to help reconstruct Konoha, since the Chunnin exams begun just after the incident. He made a perfect combat in the first round, finnishing his opponent in only 3 moves. In the second one he only watched how his comrades finnished the giant beast named "Fluffy", but he learned from his teammates. But after the exams, he didn't got promoted. The proctors had decided that he hadn't been suficient "active" in the second round. Many had expected that he would have passed, but now his name and the name of his father was unrespected. He got on a hard training, to be more powerful and clean the name of his family. After a hard training with Kokuei, he traveled to Kiri, ina mission to escort two clients. He returned without any problems. But a few days later, he got sick for a long time, and had to leave his work as shinobi for some months. When he was recovered, he made a lot of training and missions to regain the lost time. He even trained with the Hokage, which teached him the famous rasengan. Some days later, he saved a boy that lied in the water half dead. This person turned to be Uchiha Kaosu, a gennin as him. They soon got close friends, and they trained together. But this gennin had a big hate toward Uchiha Mizujin, the person who had almost killed him before. Having investigated a lot of that Mizujin, it turned to be that this oy was possesed by Uchiha Tsunami, the perosn that had killed Arashis old team. Kaosu turned to Kiri to investigate more about the relation between Mizujin and Tsunami, while Arashi took a mission to Suna. While he was in suna, the kazekage teached him how to use sand jutsus. As soon as he had returned to Konoha, he discovered that Kaosu, who had become his best friend, had been killed. And Arashi knew exactly who had killed him, but as he hadn't any proofs, nobody listened to him. Depressed as he was, he went out in the forest. In the deepest of it, he found a man who was called "the Hunter", and which teached Arashi how to summon the black footed weasels. (More data will come soon, when more things have happen) Personality: Arashi is lazy, have always his mind in other place and don't like to talk too much. He can sees a litle apatic, but if you know him he is a good person and always cares for his friends. Likes: Likes too sleep, too do "lazy things”(watch the clouds ect.) and do missions and battles, cuz he will be a great ninja like his father. This means that all poisons cost 25% less, since you need only buy the materials, but to get the discount you must make the required amount of posts. It takes 10 posts to make a custom poison, and 5 for a poison from Ninja Gear Outlet. n/a -1 1 rank Chakra Flow Bloodline: Skill Description: The user's chakra flow's much more smoothly due to spiritual allignment. Effect: gain 10% of your base chakra every turn. Cost: -5; Must be genin Knowing the Elements (Rank 1) By knowing the the elements of Ninjutsu perfectly you have discovered the flaws in many of them and are able to cut through your enemies simple-minded techniques like so much paper. Your rank in this skill determines how many times you can choose to ignore the damage from an enemy Ninjutsu. Effects of the jutsu outside damage still strike you (Web Jutsu will still bind you, etc). -2 Contract Manager Every time you take this skill, you may summon one additional type of animal (You must still get a contract)You may take this as many times as you want additional contracts. You cannot summon anything without this skill. -1 Skill Name: Shadow Sight Bloodline: N/A Description: The Nara member have lived in the shadows for a long time, and now he can see perfectly in the darkest places or in the pitch black night . Effect: No negative modifier for darkness, night ext. Any Genjutsu that use darkness or similar things will not have any effect on the person with this skill. Cost: -2, must be Nara member level 15 or more. Skill Name: Stroke of Genius! Effect: Used in the Setup Phase as a free action. Once per battle, when character is reduced to 10% Health or lower (choose one of the following): 1. You may not lose your next Response Phase. When dodging during your next Response Phase, roll twice for each attack and use the better of the two numbers. 2. Your next attack is considered a critical hit. 3. Recover 5% Total Stamina and 5% Total Chakra Description: By taking a 'time-out' and thinking about the situation, a Ninja is able to find a flaw in the opponent's strategy and can take advantage of it. Cost: -1 Restriction: May not be used in the same turn as 'My Way of the Ninja!' or 'Guts Pose!' or 'Hooray for the Big Boned People!' Taught skills: Iron Skin: You take 75% Taijutsu damage. (0(-2 normaly), have made the training Here) Skill Name: Hirate no Nayami (Palm of Agony: Fighting style) Bloodline: No, but may Only be learned from Uchiha Kaosu, someone he taught it to, or his Direct family. Description: This is a stance that can be used as a double edged sword. The stance is used when fighting a particularily tough opponent, or for when the user wants to end the battle quickly. The practicer would pour a portion of their very life energy into their attacks, doing damage to themselves as well as the opponent. While this effect is optional, the angle of the strikes used by this damage generally cause more damage then usual. Also, because of the oddity of the movements the practicer uses, they are deemed harder to hit. Rank 1: +10 damage, +15 Tai/evasion Cost: -2 (Here) Subtle Elementals (Wind) You may learn an elemental jutsu that is not from your village -0 (-1 normally) Once for every village Here Techniques: Basic Academy Jutsus (Gained automatically): Name: Bunshin no Jutsu (Clone Technique) Type: Genjutsu Rank: Academy Student Cost: 10 Genjutsu Effects: Adds +5 evasion and +5 accuracy for each clone. Once a clone is hit it is destroyed, and the bonuses with it. Description: Creates an illusionary replica of the user. It is unable to attack or interact with other objects, but can serve as a good distraction. Name: Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Technique) Type: Genjutsu Rank: Academy Student Cost: 5 Genjutsu Description: Wrap chakra around your body to change your appearance. You can still use the features of the thing you can become, e.g. use the claws of a clawed animal, but not to the extent of if you were that thing. Damage: None Effects: Change your appearance. Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu (Body Substitute Technique) Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Academy Student Cost: 10 Ninjutsu Description: A lifesaver, and a must-have technique. With this technique, the user is able to swap their body with a nearby object, usually a log, which will take the full force of any incoming blows for them, while they retreat to safe ground or search for an opening. You can only use this 3 times per battle. Damage: None Effects: Evade the next attack aimed at you. You are unable to attack the opponent the turn you use this. You can only use this 3 times per battle. This technique cannot be used to dodge Ninjutsu, Taijutsu or Genjutsu Techniques. Other jutsus: Name: Mythical Fire Flower (Katon Housenka) Type: Ninjutsu (Fire) Rank: Gennin Cost: 20 per fireball Damage: 20 per fireball Effect: This skill may be used to launch multiple fireballs in one action. Each fireball beyond the first becomes progressivly easier to dodge; add 20 to the relevant stat when attempting to dodge any fireball beyond the first. This skill may also be used to target multiple people. One fireball per target suffers no negative penalties, but if ever multi-targetting and striking any target with more than one fireball, that target receivs a bonus of 30 to the relevant stat to dodge each fireball. Description: The ninja draws in a large breath of fire and shoots it out in many quite fast, small fireballs. Due to the nature the fireballs deal less damage than a single attack but may be used to hammer a target or strike multiple foes. Name: Kagemane no jutsu Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Gennin Cost: 50, 30 chakra per turn. Damage: n/a Effects: The target and the user are immobilized. If the user chooses, in his main phase he may make one small weapon attack or basic attack, but the opponent does the same. If the opponent doesnt have a small weapon of the same kind, they throw a small weapon of their choosing. If they have no small weapons they will throw a rock/stick/etc. It will deal 1 base damage. The user may also use an attack that requires Kagemane no jutsu to be in effect, but after the attack successfully hits, Kagemane no jutsu is dispelled. Description:This technique lets you move/form/transform your shadow how you will. If you connect your own shadow with your oponents, you force the oponent to perform the same movements(or to don't move) as you. Shadow Leaf Dance (Kage Buyou) Type: Taijutsu Rank: Gennin Cost: 40 Effect: The opponents skips his next response phase. Description: A technique used to attach the user to their opponents shadow. Once done, the victim is in a vulnerable position to a more damaging attack. Such as Initial Lotus or less advanced attacks, like the Lion Combo. Sweet Nectar (Amai Kanro) Type: Ninjutsu (medical) Rank: Genin Cost: 10 Effect: Halts the effect of bleeding, minor poisons, and other debilitating qualities. Description: A sweet smelling, lightly colored fluid coats the ninja's hands and is applied to the troubled area. This technique will take care of any light maladies from minor infection to bleeding to poisons. Nomi Totomoni Kagemane no Jutsu Type: Taijutsu Rank: Gennin Cost: 5 Damage: 20 Effects: N/A Description: Must have Kagemane no Jutsu on play. You cheat the opponent to follow your movements, and then make a movement to do him hit his head with something (i.e. a tree or a wall), but you become save. This dispels the Kagemane no Jutsu. Kai (Cancel) Type: Ninjutsu/Genjutsu Rank:gennin (lvl.5 or higher) Cost: X+10% (X is for the cost of the genjustu you want to dispell) Damage: n/a Effects: Cancels a genjustu. Description: This jutsu is used to simply dispell a genjutsu (not bushins). It consists on first stop your own flow of chakra and then disrupt your opponents chakra with an even greater amount of chakra. You can also use it to dispell the genjutsu on your companion, but you have to touch him for this. Only dispells the effect of the genjutsu on you if it is an area genjutsu. Only works on genjutsus of your same rank or lower. Since you need a good chakra control normaly academy students can't use this kind of techniques. Gennins can use this a maximum of 3 times in a battle, chunnins 4 times and jounins 6 times. No limits for Kages. Nara Arashi Rendan Type: Taijutsu Rank:gennin Cost: 5 -> 10 -> 25 Damage: 5 -> 10 -> 25 Effects: n/a Description: A combo created by Nara Arashi when he was a gennin. It consist on first a kick that throws the oponent into the air. Then, Arashi makes another kick to throw him higher up. With extremely fast moves, he jumps up to be exactly 1 meter above the oponent, and then makes a mortal backward and makes a kick in the oponents ribs and sends him to the ground. Leaf Spinning Wind (Konoha Senpuu) Type: Taijutsu Rank: Gennin Cost: 20 Damage: 10 Effect: This move is incredibly hard to dodge. Lower the effective evading stat of the target by 20 - 30 if you have more than double their taijutsu. This move leaves opponents vulnerable (only half dodge/defense) to the Kage Buyo technique for their next post only. Description: The ninja dissapears in a blur of pure speed, appearing right under their target and thrusting a kick into their chin from below, launching them into the air. While weak and costle the move is very hard to avoid and makes a great opening. Powerful Fireball Skill (Katon Goukakyuu no Jutsu) Type: Ninjutsu (Fire) Rank: Gennin Cost: 30 Damage: 30 Effect: If performed by a member of the Uchiha clan this technique causes serious burning which will cause five additonal damage for the next five posts unless tended to. Non-Uchiha only burn for two posts. If this technique misses the user is left vulnerable for one post due to the awkward position they need to take to use the jutsu. Description: The trademark fireball jutsu, this technique creates fire from the lungs and generates it through the mouth, funneling through a hand put in front of the mouth. Due to needing to stand still and putting the hands away from the defense this can be a risky move. Name: Katon: Shounetsujigoku (Fire Type: Burning Hell) lvl 1 Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Genin Cost: 150 Damage: 60 Effect: Area Effect Jutsu. Damage is dealt on the following turn. Apply 95% Resistance to calculate damage. Description: By drawing in a deep breath, the Ninja shoots fireballs high into the sky, which will pick up velocity and then rain down on everyone on the battlefield. This is a truly deadly attack. Name: Multi Shadow imitation (Maruchi Kagemane no Jutsu) Type:Ninjutsu Rank:Gennin Cost: 50, 40 chakra per turn(Going up by 10 for each person binded). +50 chakra for each additional person. Damage:N/A Effects: Must be trying to trap atleast 2 people to use this jutsu. The target and the user are immobilized. Since the user is trapping multiple opponents they are completely immobalized, except for their hands. Opponents are completely immobalized as well. The user is able to use other Nara jutsu's that need this jutsu to be in place. Once other jutsu makes contact that one person is free'd unless the user hits the group simultaneously. Can trap as many people equal to the number of your lvl/2. (If an odd lvl number like 7 just round it down.) Can last a maximum of 3 turns. Description:This technique lets you move/form/transform your shadow how you will. If you connect your own shadow with your opponents, you force the opponent to perform the same movements much like a mirror. You spilt your shadow into different strands instead of just one to trap mutiple opponents. Name: The Illusion of the hundred birds Type: Genjutsu Rank: Gennin Cost: 25 chakra per bird. Damage: 10 ghostdamage per bird. Effects: +5% chance to hit per bird. Description: The Konoha shinobi make a set of seals. First it seems that nothing happens, but after some time some birds appears. The birds flies around the opponent, and after some time the birds transforms into shurikens that flies at the opponent. Kuchiyose no Jutsu (Summoning Technique) Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Gennin Cost: x Chakra (depends on summon level, see summoning rules) Damage: N/A Effect: Allows you to summon one animal. (See Summoning rules for more info). Requires the skill "Contract Manager" to preform. Description: Having signed a contract in blood, any ninja with this Ninjutsu technique can summon a beast, or beasts, from another plane of existence to use in battle. They must use their own blood as a "sacrifice" to summon them, after performing the hand seals corresponding with their animal and marking their point of summoning on the ground with both hands. Animals range from the famous Japanese Triad of the Toad, Snake, and Snail/Slug, to dogs, spiders, turtles, monkeys, and many more. Name: Wind Type: Swirling Storm Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Gennin (level 10+) Cost: 240 Damage: 60 Effects: Area Effect Description: The user creates a storm around himself, the intensity of the storm does severe damage to enemies around him. As the user is in the ey of the storm he suffers no damage. Name: Fire: Oil Spray Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Gennin Cost: 30 Damage: N/A Effects: Area effect. Double the effect and power of any fire attack. Causes arena to become slippery -5% to hit with Taijutsu for all players. -5% speed to all players. Last for remainder of battle, or untill a flame attack hits. Description: User stores oil in their mouth and then releases it in a quick burst aiming up at the sky, covering everyone and the arena in oil making it highly flammable. Name: Ice Type Jiten Omoi no Jutsu (Mind Shuffle Technique) Type: Ninjutsu + Genjutsu Rank: Gennin Cost: 65 Chakra Damage: 30 Effects: Enemy is Fazed for one turn and Startled for two turns. User must choose a technique of their current Ninja Rank that will be shutdown for the rest of the battle. Target must also choose a technique of their current Ninja Rank that will be shutdown for the rest of the battle. Restriction: N/A Description: User spits a spray of mist that spreads through the air and numbs whatever flesh it comes into contact with. The user is able to escape most of the mist since it is pointed towards the enemy, but there is a nasty numbing sensation just as the technique is used. This is because the mist is passing through esophague and some accidentally drifts up into the nasal cavity and numbs out the head. To ensure that the target suffers the same memory loss, a touch of Genjutsu is added for the failsafe. Wind God (Kaze Kami) Type: Ninjutsu (wind) Rank: Gennin Cost: 30 Damage: 25 Effect: Increase damage by 15 points if used against a member of an Earth based clan or village. Target immediatly is forced fourty feet away. Description: This is a straightforward attack for the most part, sending incredibly strong buffets of wind at the opponent and knocking them flying a good ways. It's beauty is against members of the opposite element, earth, where the wind, guided by some malignant force senses the chakra in them and buffets them for additional damage as they fly. Rend the Heart (Katsu wa Chusshin) Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Chuunin Cost: 60 chakra, 10 health points Damage: 100 Effect: Severe burning: 10 damage to user. Description: A Chuunin can't fully control the sheer volume of flame that is created by this fireball. It does massive damage for a chuunin level jutsu of it's cost, but because of that it has backlash and burns the hands holding the fireball quite badly when it is used. Teached jutsus: Name: Rasengan Level 1 Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Gennin Cost: 50 Chakra Damage: 50 Damage Effects: None. Description: The chaotic power of this spinning ball of chakra comes from the ninja's chakra rotation. A person's chakra rotation can be determined by the rotation of their hairline. If their hairline swirls to the right, they have a right rotation, and if it swirls to the left, they have a left rotation. With the Rasengan, the ninja focuses their chakra in the opposite direction of their chakra rotation, creating a disruption in the chakra flow, which is where the force of the Rasengan comes from. Focusing chakra to spin in every direction is the first level of this technique. Name: Rasengan Level 2 Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Gennin, Level 10 Cost: 70 Chakra Damage: 70 Damage Effects: If dealing damage to anything aside from a person(i.e. a jutsu, puppet, etc.) does +20 damage. Description: The second level of the Rasengan is power. This level of the technique forces the ninja to apply order to chaos to harness the power of this jutsu. By focusing their chakra into a single point on their palm, instead of their entire palm, they produce a stronger concentration of chakra to add to the maelstrom of their chakra flow. This creates the powerful outward force of the Rasengan, like a hurricane. Powerful, but uncontrollable, this is the second level of this technique. Training made here for booth the first rasengan levels Name: Rasengan Level 3 Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Chuunin Level 20 Cost: 70 Chakra Damage: 90 Damage Effects: If dealing damage to anything aside from a person(i.e. a jutsu, puppet, etc.) does +20 damage, throws hit target into ranged distance.. Description: The third level of the Rasengan is control. The ninja has to be able to use one hundred percent of their spinning chakra and one hundred percent of their powering chakra and keep them firmly within the palm of their hand, creating the small and controlled ball the Rasengan is typically seen as. In this state, the Rasengan becomes more focused and powerful, and as it meets friction, it becomes faster, creating even more power as the attack is in motion. Controlling the maelstrom of spinning and flowing chakra is the third step of this technique. Level 3 here (not realy a training) Name: Hirate no Nayami: Palm of Despair Type: Taijutsu Rank: Gennin Requirements: Rank 1 of the Hirate no Nayami fighting style Cost: 65 Damage: 20 Effects: Any Taijutsu used by the opponent cost 10 health to use per 20 Stamina. Any normal attacks cost 1 health per 5 damage done. Lasts 5 turns after this is used. Mods do not apply for the last effect. Description: The User curls their fingers in, and strikes the opponent multi times with open palms. They end this flurry with a single strike to the throat, which in turn causes the opponent to suffer for every heavy-physical action; such as Taijutsu, and hand-to-hand combat. Here Shield of Sand (Suna no Tate) Type: Ninjutsu (wind) Rank: Gennin Damage: N/A Cost/Effect: -Konoha Jutsu's = 3 chakra for every 1 damage -Kiri Jutsu = 3 chakra for every 1 damage -Suna Jutsu = 1 chakra for every 4 damage -Kumo Jutsu's = 1 chakra for every 2 damage -Iwa Jutsu= 1 chakra for every 4 damage -Kusa Jutsu = 2 chakra for every 1 damage -Oto Jutsu = 5 chakra for every 1 damage -Weapons = 1 chakra every 3 damage -Taijustu = 1 chakra for every 3 damage --If the opponent's applicable stat (taijutsu or ninjutsu or accuracy) is more than or equal to double the user's ninjutsu, then the shield is bypassed and the attack cannot be blocked. --If the opponent's applicable stat is more than or equal to the user's ninjutsu, then the chakra:damage ratio is halved, so that 1:2 will become 1:1. --If the opponent's applicable stat is less than or equal to half the user's ninjutsu, the ratio is doubled, so that 1:2 becomes 1:4. Description: The basic defense of the Wind ninja. This creates a shield of the element of Sand that can absorb any jutsus, taijutsu, or basic attacks in general. This shield is the one seen in the Naruto Anime. Well, it's good cntrstrk, but I think the "jbwthf" is good, because it gives the move something offensive (but not strong) and something strategical and at the same time humoristic. the cost per turns is a good idea. But I don't know, is 5 chakras to litle or will a more cost do the skill unuselless if you are fighting alone? //Arashi//
  5. Here are some techniques for the Nara clan I have proved to do. Mods, please change all you want, this is the first time I make this and it's probably too bad... Name: Kagemane no jutsu Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Gennin Cost: 40 Damage: n/a Effects: This skill let you move/form/transform your shadow how you will.If you connect your own shadow with your oponents, you force the oponent to perform the same movements(or to don't move) as you for 3 turn (the skill tires you after a long time of use). If the oponent is near a big rock/wall, and the "speller" are on an open area, you can just "jump back with the head first"(jbwthf), with causes 10 damage without any chance to evade the attack. This "dispell" the kagemane no jutsu instantaly. To use the "jbwthf" you must have to say that the oponent is near a wall 2(or more) posts before. Name: Kage Kubishibari no Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Chuunin Cost: 50 Damage:75 Effects: To use the Kage Kubishibari no Jutsu you first most use the Kagemane no Jutsu. However, after the technique is secured, the attacking ninja can manipulate the shadows into becoming hands, which wrap around the neck of the enemy, strangling them, or even just breaking their neck.
