Increase Enton Chidori's total damage by 3 for every 40 points of Speed that its user possesses. Response Phase Techniques used against Enton Chidori have an additional 50% chance to fail, even if they did not already possess a fail chance. The target of this technique is afflicted by 2 turns of Burning 150. Description: This is one of the most powerful forms of this chidori/raikiri variant techniques that exist currently, the first user was Uchiha Sasuke himself in the great war ten tails incident, through the use of an Uchiha with ametarasu and Kagutsuchi, you can use the kagutsuchi control ability to manipulate the black hell fire created by amaterasu onto one of your hands that you have already charged up with your surging lightning natured chakra. By mixing the two together, the black fire surrounds the growing orb of electricity in their hand, until enough chakra was moved into it when the flames joined the miniature bolts of lightning moving up and down his arm, though he had the control over the fire to make sure that never came close. The major destructive force of this technique comes when the thrust of the underlaying Raikiri is delivered, once that happens the black fire is shot forward all over in a frontal cone of where it was used, covering the foe in fires too strong to be put out with water, in most cases this was not a technique most people walked away from after seeing it come their way. Requirements: Chidori Training Shape, Combinatorial Blaze Release, Mangekyo Sharingan Points: 16 Cost Breakdown: Damage CP Cost: 400 Item Ignore Cost: (400 * .25) = 100 Starting Cost: 500 500 * 1.25(Defense Penetration) = 625 | This effect hasn't been adjusted due to the way Chidori is designed to get progressively better at piercing defense naturally(seen by no cost increase from 80% to 70% pierce chidori->raikiri) 625 * 1.3(Speed Mechanic) = 790 | This has been slightly increased in cost because the effect nets more damage- namely 1 more damage per 40 Speed. 790 * 1.6 (RPJ Failure Chance) = 1264 1264 burning CP Cost - 80 = 1184 1184 - .8(20% reduction for the drawback if used w/o an AS, cited from Tony here) = 948 948 - 500(Skill/Training/Misc Requirements) = 448 to be able to use this techique (Uchiha AS Enton Release Etc) + 30% Increased Cost for making this a Sealless Jutsu which means 448 + (448*1.3) Final Cost: 582.4 [Rounding to 583 because its easier]. hat’s pretty much how Peter had it, except the RPJ fail chance. Chidori Nagashi | One Thousand Birds Current | 千鳥流し Type: Ninjutsu | Lightning | Chidori Shape Rank: Jonin Cost: 1.5x Chakra Effect: When determining the cost of this technqiue, 'x' is equivalent to the cost of another technique that requires the skill 'Chidori Training; Poise' that is known by the user, chosen at the time that this technique is performed. This technique may be performed in the Response Phase or Main Phase: Response: All unresolved physical attacks targeting the user of this technique have their total damage reduced by 50% of the total damage of the technique chosen by the user when this technique was performed. If the damage of any attack is reduced to 0, the effects are also negated. The user of any melee-ranged attack that's damage is reduced by this technique has a 75% chance of being afflicted with the status effect 'Weakened' for 2 turns at the beginning of their next turn. The user of this technique sacrifices their Setup Phase and Main Phase on the turn this technique is used. The user of this technique may not use another technique in the Response Phase for 1 turn after this technique is used. This technique has a 5% chance to fail. Main: When this technique is performed the attack 'Lightning Swell' targets every character on the battlefield except the user. The damage dealt by 'Lightning Swell' is equivalent to 50% of the total damage of the technique chosen by the user when this technique was performed. Any character struck by the 'Lightning Swell' created by this technique is afflicted with 2 turns of the status effect 'Weakened'. Description: Through advanced mastery of the one thousand birds technique, and being an expert in controlling that lightning chakra, an experienced chidori user is able to channel the lightning produced by the Chidori across the entire surface of their body, creating a strong enough current to stun and knock back enemies when used correctly. The real brilliance of this technique is the multitude of applications it has, both offensively and defensively, it can be used as a form of crowd control if you are being ganged up on, or as a knockback to send a target backwards and get yourself out of harms way. This is accomplished by channeling that same lightning chakra that they put across their body into the ground in front of his targets, sending shock waves through the earth and creating a violent chain reaction. Chidorigatana | One Thousand Birds Katana | 千鳥刀 Type: Ninjutsu | Lightning | Bukijutsu; Sword | Chidori Shape Rank: Jonin Cost: 190 Chakra Effect: This technique may be performed in the Setup Phase. Any Weapon Attacks performed by the user of this technique during this turn are treated is if they were both a Lightning Ninjutsu and a Weapon Attack. The targets of any Weapon Attack performed this turn apply 80% of their total Defense statistic when modifying damage dealt by those attacks and targets may only apply a single item's effects when modifying or responding to those attacks. The total damage of any Weapon Attack performed this turn is increased by +3 for every 40 points of Speed that the user of this technique possesses. Response Phase techniques used against any Weapon Attacks performed by the user have a +25% chance to fail. Description: Chidori Kōken, or Chidorigatana, is a derivative of its parent jutsu the Chidori. Comparing it to the Chidori Current technique, this uses the opposite of that principle, they instead channel the technique through a weapon and not evenly across their body, where current is more useful for multiple target situations, the chidorigatana is more useful in one on one scenarios. Smaller weapons such as Kunai, Shuriken, Tantos, and the most common of course, swords, are this techniques main application.
