The Rinne Festival
The Rinne Festival (or Saṃsāra Festival) is a winter holiday celebrated in the ninja villages and other parts of the world. Originally, the holiday was a time of prayer and reflection, where the people of old looked back on the year gone and prepared for the one to come. Over the years, it has evolved into a time of merriment where friends and loved ones exchange gifts. (Fun Fact: On the moon, the Rinne Festival coincides with the floating temple of Ōtsutsuki Hamura coming into close proximity with the Ōtsutsuki clan’s castle, this period of time is recognized as the Tensei Festival by those who live on the moon. But how they celebrate it is largely a mystery!)

 

It's ya' boy here, Wolfnin, comin' at you live from somewhere in the artic! Ooo boy, another trip around the sun means another wonderful holiday to spend here on good old NA. We here at staff want to wish all of you a happy holidays and hope you enjoy any holiday that you celebrate this winter! Don't worry, we haven't forgotten about the celebration! Returning again this year is our annual random gifts! You know em', you love em'. Information on how to receive your gift will be down below. Now, some of you may want to take the festive spirit into game, and we encourage this! For your gifts, you can easily role play receiving them from NPC (such as your character's parents) or 'give' the gifts to each other in character! Feel free to take it however you want, as long as it makes sense! You can even receive it in our up and coming holiday AU thread that can be found in the AU RP section of the site.
