    I'm an open book. I'll tell you most anything about me. Right now? Lol. Well, I've just been burned and burned HARD twice within like three months. Every experience helps me grow and it lets me see those that truly do love me for who I am. I've got some amazing people in my life, and some who aren't so very amazing at all...but life moves on

    I'm a rural Colorado girl who prefers roleplay to stats. I love GMing and writing and reading and...well, everything that this site stands for, really. Ironically, I've never seen more than 10 seconds of a Naruto episode. Not a particularly major fan...but I love the site and I love the friends I've made here.

  1. It should be noted that this profile is nearly identical to the old one with a few exceptions: 1) Obviously, it's updated and tweaked for the new forum's formatting and color scheme. 2) I've added some history and background to deal with the lack in time between the last time I played the character and now. 3) Skills were tweaked - there is one there that I have not taken yet, and it has a note beside it accordingly. Similarly, I switched one Hindrance for another that I felt was more appropriate to the character. It should also be noted that it's not been changed stat-wise, and so the stats are really out of date at the moment. I was told by Warr that I could play without de-leveling her and simply not level her up any until I actually transition her into what would be Level 7 under the new system.

Points: 1 •Personal Techniques: Ninjutsu• Senuskai Hotaru: Flicker Dance Type: Personal Ninjutsu [Lightning] Rank: Gennin Cost: 30 Damage: 30 Effect: N/A Description: Lightning dancing across the night sky in all its neon glory was the driving inspiration for this technique. The ninja shapes three hand seals. As they do, lightning begins to flicker around them and above them. Upon the shaping of the final seal, brighter lightning dances overhead in a random and misleading pattern before driving downwards into the target. Points: 2 •General Techniques: Ninjutsu• Shockwave Type: Ninjutsu (Lightning) Rank: Gennin Cost: 60 Damage: 60 Effect: N/A Description: You do 3 handseals and you begin to hear an echo-like noise that sounds like it's rumbling horribly. The area around you then turns pure white for half of a second from the lightning rushing toward your opponent. It's a powerful jutsu that is normally taught to new genin of Kumo. Points: 3 Beginning (Akebono) Type: Ninjutsu (Cloud) Rank: Gennin Cost: 40 Damage: 20 Effect: +20 HP to user if this connects. Description: A lash of vapor swipes through the opponent, drawing at their very chakra and essence and lashing back to the user, revitalizing them. Points: 2 Ending (Musubi) Type: Ninjutsu (Cloud) Rank: Gennin Cost: 30 Damage: 50 Effect: User takes 15 damage when they use this technique. Description: A similar lash as Akebono, this one draws on the energy of the user to inflict more damage though. Points: 2 •Basic Academy Techniques• Bunshin no Jutsu (Clone Technique) Type: Genjutsu Rank: Academy Student Cost: 10 Genjutsu Description: Creates an illusionary replica of the user. It is unable to attack or interact with other objects, but can serve as a good distraction. Damage: None Effects: Adds +5 evasion and +5 accuracy for each clone. Once a clone is hit it is destroyed, and the bonuses with it. Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Technique) Type: Genjutsu Rank: Academy Student Cost: 5 Genjutsu Description: Wrap chakra around your body to change your appearance. You can still use the features of the thing you can become, e.g use the claws of a clawed animal, but not to the extent of if you were that thing. Damage: None Effects: Change your appearance. Kawarimi no Jutsu (Body Substitute Technique) Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Academy Student Cost: 10 Ninjutsu Description: A lifesaver, and a must-have technique. With this technique, the user is able to swap their body with a nearby object, usually a log, which will take the full force of any incoming blows for them, while they retreat to safe ground or search for an opening. You can only use this 3 times per battle. Damage: None Effects: Evade the next attack aimed at you. You are unable to attack the opponent the turn you use this. You can only use this 3 times per battle. This technique cannot be used to dodge Ninjutsu, Taijutsu or Genjutsu Techniques. •Techniques Learned from Jounin 0/12•

Ranks: 1/10 Cost: -1 •Clan Skills• Denikimi is Found Here •Path-Based Skills• The Path of the Scouts Description: People are born with loves, and in the case of a person who follows the path of the Scout, exploring and mapping out their explorations is that love. There is nothing better than to taste new air, to see a new place, or better yet, guiding people through a place you have recently explored. Effect: Travel post requirements for this character are reduced by 500 words to a minimum of 100. Travel post requirements for any people traveling with you (so long as you role play leading them through the travel) are reduced by 200 words to a minimum of 100. Scout's Passage: - True Tactitian: May take any of the three 'Tactic' skills in any order or combination with a combined skill point subtraction of -4. Role play IS required to understand and utilize the tactics lessened, so as to explain learning it. RP Guide: Character should have a love for travel, be a capable communicator, and should -not- have any skills which conflict with exploring, having a strong grasp of east, west, north, and south, and capability of finding yourself geographically. Intelligence and persistence would be useful personality traits to scout characters. Cost: -1 Tactics; AMBUSH! Effects: If role played as ambushing your opponent, the owner of this skill may attack the opponent before the opponent is given a turn, regardless of speed. For every teammate this user has, the 'to hit' roll (After Accuracy and Evasion are accounted for), is given an extra 5% to hit, at least for this first attack. (Capped at 40% Increase to hit.) Can only be used in dense wilderness, a highly populated area, or a developed area. Ocean is considered 'dense wilderness' by this meaning. In the case of conflict of logic in regards to clans & their bloodline versus this skill, staff will be brought in and staff decision will decide if the skill is still in effect. Cost: -1 (Path of the Scout) Tactics; Preparation! Effects: User may spend one post prior to a battle 'surveying' a potential battlefield. After this turn, the user is capable of moving 5% faster than they normally would (As in they are considered having 5% higher speed than they do.), and has both an increased evasion and an increased accuracy, of 5% per rank in this skill. Cost: -0 (Path of the Scout) Ranks: 1 / 4 Tactics; Off with the Head! Effect: At the beginning of any skirmish (Team Battle), the side opposing the owner of this skill must declare its 'leader' (Which must actually be its leader, in character. Staff can come down on them for trying to make their strongest PC the leader if that's not the actual leader role play wise.) For every hit on this aforementioned 'leader' by a shinobi with this skill, the members of the hit leader's unit excluding them self are considered 'low morale', and because of the concern for their leader, have a 5% higher chance to be hit by any attack sent their way, and a 10% higher chance to be hit by a trap jutsu. (Maximum of 40% higher chance to be hit by any attack sent their way, and 60% higher chance to be hit by a trap sent their way.) Bonuses to the unit of the user of this skill stay so long as the opposing unit's leader is still attacked, but unless the new attacker has this skill, the bonuses to not heighten. Cost: -1 (Path of the Scout) •General Skills• Quick Learner Effect: +10% EXP From Missions and Training. EXP given as holiday gifts or handed out from events by the staff is not included in this. Cost: -2 Second Wind Effect: Upon reaching 0 or less health, the user's HP is raised back up to 1 HP, but only once per battle. If the user's HP would be reduced below -25% of its total then this skill does not come into effect. Cost: -2 Inner Calm Effects: Chakra-Based Techniques cost 5 less chakra (Minimum of 5 chakra must always be paid however). Cost: -1 Skill Name: Stroke of Genius! Effect: Used in the Setup Phase as a free action. Once per battle, when character is reduced to 10% Health or lower (choose one of the following): 1. You may not lose your next Response Phase. When dodging, roll twice for each attack and use the better of the two numbers. 2. Your next attack is considered a critical hit. 3. Recover 5% Total Stamina and 5% Total Chakra Description: By taking a 'time-out' and thinking about the situation, a Ninja is able to find a flaw in the opponent's strategy and can take advantage of it. Cost: -1 Restriction: May not be used in the same turn as 'My Way of the Ninja!' or 'Guts Pose!' or 'Hooray for the Big Boned People!' Stroke of Genius! is found here. Shiva, The Destroyer Effect: Offensive Ninjutsu from the user deal an additional 20% damage. This multiplier applies to the base damage of the technique, and in this case and this case only - allows you to break the base damage cap. The taker of this skill may not use Genjutsu. i.e.; Damage = 100[base] *1.2 +100[Ninjutsu] = 220, 220 - 100[Resistance] = 120 Damage. Cost: -3 (Not Taken Yet. It's on here for my notes.) •Hindrances• Merciful Whenever you would deal the finishing blow in combat to an opponent, you must let them live with one HP left, only applies once a battle. +1 Narcissist Character is stunned for a post the first time damage is taken. +1 Sealed Genjutsu Cannot use any Genjutsu techniques +2 Defender Bloodline: Regular Skill Description: A Defender past experiences or loving nature will not allow other's to die. A Defender will do anything possible to save their allies from death. Effect: User must stand in the way of a Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Basic, or Weapon attack causing what could be the finishing blow to defend an ally or innocent bystander. Defender can use any defensive jutsu save those that involve avoiding the attack (Such as the Substitution Jutsu) or may make a dodge roll. The Defender evasion and dodge roll is automatically used in place of the defending ninja (if it happens to be a ninja), but the % chance to dodge/block is halved. Must apply a minimum of once per allied human, but may choose to do more then once. Restriction: Cannot be taken with Protector, Guardian, or Martyr.
