    • Opening: 20 + (10 * JP)–

    Making this 'any' Silent Killing technique as I didn't want to restrict this to one specific technique. Keeping to canon flavor of Haku preferring needles, Zabuza preferring giant sword etc. I accounted for 'any' in the costing as JP = maximum JP at each rank. i.e. Genin: 20+(10*4) etc. As well as making this enforced on the first Silent Killing technique used.

    • Impaired x/y = 15/turn –

    15(2) = 30 on Genin; (15*2)*2 = 60 on Chuunin; (15*3)*2 = 90 on Jonin.

    • Genin costing –

    Opening (max 4jp) + Impaired 2 turns: (20+(10*4)) + 30 = 90. The +40 cost on Murder charge making 100 in resources spent to access the 90.

    • Chuunin costing –

    Opening (max 5jp) + Impaired x+y 2 turns + Mist 1 turn: (20+(10*5)) + 60 (impaired) + 30 (Mist) = 160. The +40 cost on Murder charge again covering the spread but hitting the 160 mark with no excess.

    • Jounin costing –

    Opening (max 8jp) + Impaired x+y 3 turns + Mist 2 turns: (20+(10*8)) + 60 (impaired) + 60 (Mist) = 160. The +40 cost on Murder charge again covering the spread. No need to bend limits in this one.

    • I made these Evolving since it is only making the previous version larger. JP is tricky here however as Chuunin would be 5pts and Jonin would be 6pts without evolving. 

     

    Quick reminder: These techniques have a solid barrier to entry and makes users commit to Silent Killing by requiring Hiding in Mist and Silent Killing Style. The update to Hiding in Mist made it Chuunin rank, so a genin buying in would put up 8 JP (unless DB'd) and still need to unlock the Silent Killing tree. These also have the drawback of being tied to 'Mist' climate active status.

    RP Effect – The user's movements within mist are harder to notice and may seem to come from further away than they actually are.
    Description: Further developing the capacity to manipulate the Hiding in Mist Technique, the shinobi trained in the ways of the Hidden Mist's Silent Killing Style concentrates their chakra in a unique way to muffle and throw the sounds of their movements from within the veil of mist.
    Cost: 4 JP

    Restrictions: Silent Killing Style; Kirigakure no jutsu

    Type: Ninjutsu [ Silent Killing ]

    Cost: 120 Chakra + 1 Murder Charge
    Effect: [Opening] to the first Silent Killing Style technique used while this technique is active. The Silent Killing Style technique used must be equal or lower rank to this technique to receive the opening effect. 

    Additionally the opponent is [Impaired Hearing] and [Impaired Eyesight] for 2 turns while the climate is 'Mist' is active. Extend duration of active 'Mist' by +1 turn. This technique resolves after the final turn of [Impaired Hearing] and [Impaired Eyesight] or 'Mist' is removed, whichever comes first. 

    RP Effect – The user's movements within mist are difficult to track and cannot be 'heard' by normal means.
    Description: As the shinobi trained in the ways of the Silent Killing Style progresses, so does their ability to form an offensive from the mist. Their footsteps absent and their manipulation over the mist growing to keep them unnoticeable until the moment of striking from under the veil of the mist.
    Cost: 3 JP [evolving]

    RP Effect – The user's movements within mist are indiscernible and cannot be "heard'.
    Description: Considered the pinnacle of skill utilizing the Hidden Mist's Silent Killing Style. A mastery of the Hiding in Mist Technique combined with expert skill in combat and chakra control allows the shinobi to seemingly vanish within the veil of mist. Only the most proficient shinobi can discern the presence of this Silent Killing practitioner and even then, it proves difficult even with the use of uncanny means.
    Cost: 2 JP [evolving]

  6. Those are some legit questions. I'd like to know the answer to those as well, specially the NA history bit. I'm calling a cop out if NCIA is the answer though. lol

     

     

    Question.

    Would it be possible to make it a D rank mission to build some of the NA Wiki's wanted pages? Like how the character registration is but for things such as clan pages, events, and other things of that sort? Obviously curated so it's not just a turd write up for incentives but effort does go into those things and helps with an aspect of the site.

    In my opinion, Kiba is a bit of a technician. He doesn't display anything that shows high durability but doesn't have a consistently high power output either. Like say Chouji or Naruto might have.

     

    Personally, I don't believe he would posses too much ninjutsu, just enough to pop shadow clone and beast-human transformations. Not at volume either, ~ twice, at the most. Which would require at least ~970 chakra to set up his win conditions. I added an extra 100 to chakra because current meta doesn't account for two and three headed beast transformations costs, yet. Cushions ftw.

     

    If not, the 100 could go anywhere in Taijutsu or Defense to add some pop or padding. Or the bottom 3 stats for extra room in potential stat boosts.

    He is obviously stamina heavy. I accounted for his main offenses; all the fangs. Getting all of them out at least thrice, the Garoga possibly twice.

    Kiba also isn't an easy down but he's not Naruto either. A good heft in health and a below-average defense. Just in case he does get touched. He's not going down in 1 but isn't seeing 10 turns either, if he is touched too often.

     

    It's possible to think his Taijutsu should be higher but I think with a maxed martial artist at ninja rank 4 would cover that.

     

    Same goes for his bottom 3 stats. I know some NA jonin have way over 1200 speed and evasion. I simply perceive Kiba as a stat booster to get what he needs set up and get done. Whether it's ninja gear, four legs or numerical advantage. His speed and evasion might not be as high as a legit pace abuser like Sasuke.

     

    It's also why I think he'd have alertness from scout by way of mercenary. Can get his set ups from the start and push forward with numerical advantage after.

     

    His accuracy is not great either, in my opinion. It's mentioned multiple times in the story. Garoga could just be a specific instance but I figure with dynamic marking, his low-ish accuracy can be moved around if up against evasion fairies.

     

    Lastly, he's not an easy down. Like I said from the start. Toughness, Iron Will, Knowing the Elements. He'll extend his time in battle a few times. Then, if he failed the first set up, he could hit it, on extreme endurance to pull through with a late strategist victory.

     

    His big battles are Naruto, Sakon/Ukon, and 4th Ninja War feats. Each one, he's not super accurate, and digs deep even at depleted chakra levels. He's not an easy down by any means. Knocking on rashomon's door and the 3 headed war feat. He fires off big shots at the cost of his tanks but digs beyond them (health) when he doesn't sweep early but he almost never sees a long battle, whether because he gets touched too much or he drains all of his tanks.

     

     

    I'm not a late-game NA expert but that's my view on one of my most liked characters. Can you tell I'm bored? Didn't feel like working on creations so I dug up this topic, lol. Thoughts?

     

    Lookin at what I did for Asuma. I'd probably drop him to- slightly over brand new Jonin.

Ninja caught in the vicinity of the sticky liquid will find it nigh impossible to free their way of the tacky surface or maneuver freely afterwards.

  10. 800 seems rather extreme, as you are the only one to even suggest anything that high. I don't know if that was because I bumped my topic and it put you in a bad mood or what but that is a massive jump from then to now and we are talking 5 modmin looking at this before hand and nothing that high was ever suggested.

     

    It seems the stacking aspect of this attribute seems to be the most concerning issue with this. I honestly don't see the problem with it stacking, this is essentially an NA version of Damp Rock, Smooth Rock etc. on +1 turn. However, if it's an issue, then I won't fight it. I've added the bit that Princess suggested to keep this attribute from stacking with anything.

     

    If the price is still an issue, I must respectfully ask for second and third opinions on the matter. It's truly a massive jump in pricing.

  11. I have no objections to either request. I think the wording suggested for Spell of Frozen Angels is very clear, I like it. I also have no problem with adding that essences are gained at the end of the turn.

     

    Final say is up to Blue but I am okay with both suggestions, as the only other Hisame user. (to my knowledge.)

  12. I've been absent for a minute on the site and apologies to Blue for that. Didn't mean to leave you hanging bro.

     

    On to business,

     

    The essences are gained when you use an ice technique but can't be used until the next turn. So, an Hisame could use an ice projectile technique on turn 2 but wouldn't be able to use the essence earned until the next main phase. Because the essence is gained after the ice technique is resolved not before. So, gaining 3 essences wouldn't be used until that next main phase anyways.

     

    Spell of Frozen Angels adds +1 to your essence accumulation by taking the skill. For example, Haruyuki, a Sennin, would gain 2 essence of frost by the White Frost skill naturally. Then Spell of Frozen Angles would add +1 to that just by taking the skill. So 3 essences of frost are gained by Haruyuki for meeting all requirements.

     

    As for the DCIM, you would be correct. It was our fault for abbreviations in conversation, it was a pain to have to write out the complete name just for rough draft purposes but definitely for the approved version, the skill should clarify the full name instead of the abbreviation.

     

    We should clean up the language in the effects for clarity reasons in general though. 

  13. I added that only one instance of the attribute may be applied any time in battle.

     

    So, if there were 2+ pieces of equipment with the attribute, the attribute can only come into play once but if one item was destroyed, a other piece can apply the attribute in its place.

     

    I'm not really feeling the entirety that the attribute be limited to itself. I mean, I wouldn't waste sp on extending climates but if someone would, would it be right to keep them from using the attribute?
