A New Year's Story

--Theme: What in the world happened to your character during and after New Years Evening/Day?

Chirp. Chirp. Chirp. The peaceful sounds outside a worn down pub had awakened a girl with midnight-blue hair. Her eyes blinked from the bright sunlight shining in through the nearby window. Ugh...Where am I? She thought wearily as she lifted her head to check the strange surroundings. Everything was sort of out of balance. Blinking several times more, the girl began to notice things like the blanket that kept her warm while she slept and the glass of water at the foot of her made out bed.

Multiple tables and chairs were present as well as a bar came into focus. The chairs were stacked neatly on top of the round, mahogany table. Behind the bar counter stood a well-dressed man drying a fairly large wine glass. He didn't look fancy-fancy but over-all nice. The girl was now sitting up properly from her sleeping position and began to stretch on the soft, green- colored couch she occupied. Her hair was loose from her bun-styled hair, strands fell in front of her face and some stuck out like a porcupine's needle. There were slight bags under her eyes and her clothes were wrinkled. She wore a white hoodie with a lime green fox's face imprinted on the right portion of the jacket, it was half-way zipped up, and underneath the coat was an all green cotton shirt. Her bottom outfit was her usual flared blue jeans.

"Ahh... I see you're awake Miss--" He place the glass cup down and took a piece of paper from the counter, "Tuh-- Hmm...Tuh-Sah-yah. My name is Smiley Chillingworth."

"Tsaya (Sah-yah). The "t" is silent Mr. Chillingworth. Kaizen Tsaya, Sir. It is a pleasure meet you," Replied the girl now dubbed Tsaya, "Now... May I ask what...er... How I got here?"

Mr. Chillingworth walked out from behind the counter and as he handed the note over to Tsaya he complimented her, "You're quite a strong drinker Miss."

Tsaya gently took the note and read it as quickly as she can. Hey Tsaya! Great party last night, huh? Well we hope someone here gets you home safe 'cuz we gotz another par-tay to go to! Ciao sweetie! From Alice, Emi, and Janice. She sighed heavily and crumpled the piece of paper. How could they do this to her? Were they not friends? Of course they were, just not really...really... good ones. They ditched me... They freakin' ditched me. Chillingworth walked back to his station and continued his work as soon as he saw how distressed the girl looked.

Kaling- ling. The bell's voice indicated that there was a customer. The only occupants turned their heads to look at the new comer.
