Cost: 220 Chakra 100 Stamina
Damage: 180
Effect: The target of this technique is afflicted with 1 turn of Scorched, and Opening:  Jack of Diamonds; Firestorm Kick Parade. Additionally, The effects of Subtle Elements Fire's Effect are doubled.

Opening - You have an unmodified 0% chance to dodge the next attack named [Technique], where [Technique] is a single technique specified by the attack that caused this status effect. The JP in the cost refers to the JP of [Technique]. You cannot be afflicted with "Opening" if you were afflicted with "Opening" last turn.

Scorched - You take +15% total damage from all physical attacks. Shares stacks with 'Bruised'.

Description: This tehcnique involves some unique maneuvers when it comes to the fire style, its not usual to see someone using flames from their feet, but what most people dont know is that when you master control over fire enough you can create it from any point on your body, and not be limited to using chakra enhanced breath from your lungs to spew it out, once you have truly mastered the fire element chakra the creatioon of burning flames are your fists feet to enhabnce a kick youre making, are all possible. So when enough chakra is built up, and you have enough speed to go along with it the combination of the two results in a devastating ninjutsu taijutsu combo that if it hits leaves them completely vulnerable to its elder tehcnique the Firestorm Kick Parade. This move is best used when on your back as you can use the force generated by gyrating your body creating a swirling flame as your feet connect with your target.

You forgot to account for the JP tax on the jonin tech, but the JP may be changing depending on your answer to the below question anywho, so maybe hold off on that for now.

Do you know of any techniques that increase the effectiveness of their Subtle Element skill so we have something to compare the unique effect to? I looked around and didn’t find any, but I might be missing an obvious one.

Okay, let's review this again!

JP: Nah, I did some math and the Fire effect is... cheap. That knocks your CP down a bit, so the JP is good now (if you choose the 7JP version, see below for details).

Fire Effect: Please change it to say "Subtle Elements; Fire's effect is increased by 5%" or something of that nature. That has less to do with you and more to do with the amount of effects we're getting that double Element effects, and I want to set precedent going forward to keep them from stacking in a bad way.

Another player could use this as precedent to have a tech double fire to 10%, grab Tree Climbing Training to double it again to 20%, grabs that skill Celes made a forever ago to double it again to 40%, etc. It just closes off a potential issue.

Anyway, this is gonna be real cheap. Fire is 5% of your total damage as Burning. Even if we assume your damage modifier is really high, that's still not a lot. Even if your modifier is +1000 damage on the Jonin Tech, that's… 1150 damage and so Burning; 58.

Uh… let's go with 30 for the Jonin Tech and 40 for the Sennin tech.

I don't want to knock the price down further than that, it's already low, and it scales poorly at Genin and Chuunin if someone wants to make baby techs that do something similar. You'd probably be better off with actual Burning damage built directly into the technique, because this has something of a premium for affecting the element itself due to opening it up to unforeseen combinations.

Sennin Tech

Hitting this one first because the Jonin one's CP is based off how this one's JP rocks out.

Did you mean to inflict Scorched and Bruised in the same turn? They share stacks, so Bruised is ignored if Scorched is also applied. If you want Bruised to be the turn after Scorched, let's change it to "The target is inflicted with one turn of Staggered and Scorched. They are Bruised for one turn after Scorched ends."

Assuming you want Bruised, the cost is: 300 (damage) + 20 (Staggered) + 30 (Scorched) + 20 (Bruised) + 40 (Fire Effect) = 410 CP.

If you don't want Bruised, this drops a bit to 390.

The first cost 8JP and the second costs 7.

Jonin Tech:

120 (Damage) + 30 (Scorched) + 90 (Opening) + 30 (Fire) = 270 CP and 7JP if you Open into the non-Bruised, or 280 and 8JP if you Open into the Bruised one.
