Guest MrSako Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 (edited) Hyuuga Gennin shall choose either the 'Path of Medicine' or the 'Path of the Warrior.' Those that follows the 'Path of Medicine' may take Medical Conditioning and Channeling while the latter may take Formula Mind and Ironbound. Hyuuga Character Rules: -May not have the Hindering traits: 'Sealed Ninjutsu' or 'Sealed Genjutsu.' -May not take the positive traits: 'Chakra Flow' or 'Intestinal Fortitude' -May not take another bloodline (Hyuuga pride will keep you from diluting yourself with any of the 'weaker' bloodlines) -There will only be 4 spots open, 2 for Medical and 2 for Warrior. I will hold tryouts and I encourage everyone to try out. -You go Missing, you will be hunted down ASAP. -Clan Skills and Bloodline skills may -not- be taught by Jounin/Sennin/whatever NPC. You earn these. Hyuuga Bloodline Transufsion Rules -None will be offered, so please do not ask Clan Name: Hyuuga Clan Village: Konoha Clan Starter: (Information has not been revealed in the show) Clan Head: Hyuuga Aodachi Clan Age and Status: Ancient, one of the most respected Clans in Konoha Clan Bloodline: The Byakugan Clan Element: None Clan Emblem: Clan Info: The Hyuuga clan is most notably known for it's bloodline: The Byakugan. They are considered one of the elite clans of Konoha, alongside the Uchiha. This clan is also specialized in close range Taijutsu fighting. This clan is structured differently than most clans. There are two families of the clan: the Head and the Branch family. There is much bitterness between them. The Branch family exists only to protect and sacrifice themselves for the Head family. When a Branch family member reaches four, they have a cursed seal (Hyuuga Juin Jutsu) carved into their forehead. This seal symbolizes a caged bird and marks those that are bound with an inescapable destiny. When activated, this Jutsu destroys the brain cells. This seal also causes the Byakugan to be destroyed and erased from their body once they should die. This also prevents the Branch family from ever rising up against the Head family. This is a way to protect the secrets of the Byakugan. Seal of the Caged Bird Effect: Bloodline may not be stolen after character death. If character is revived, character may continue to use their bloodline abilities. Requirement: 2 of the 4 active Hyuuga will be given this Seal. ~Clan Jutsu~ Name: Divine 32-Hit Palm Strike (Hakke Sanjuu Nishou) Type: Taijutsu Rank: Gennin Cost: 100 Stamina + 100 Chakra Damage: 120 Effects: Character must have Byakugan open. The target is unable to regenerate Chakra for 5 turns. This effect can be removed by the Release Chakra skill by a Medical Shinobi of Gennin rank or greater. Use Chuunin damage caps, but if target would be reduced to less than 1 Health, set them at 1 Health. Description: Taijutsu technique that must be used in conjunction with the Byakugan Eyes of the Hyuuga Clan and also requires a basic knolwedge of the Gentle Fist Style or Hyuuga Style Taijutsu. With the ability to see the inner coil system, the ninja performs a series of graceful movements while attacking thirty-two of the three hundred and sixty-one tenketsu. Although the tenketsu are not closed, Chakra flow has been somewhat disrupted, making it more difficult for the opponent to continue the battle. Requirements: Hyuuga Taijutsu Rank 1 and Byakugan Mastery Rank 1 ----------------------------------------- Name: Divine 64-Hit Palm Strike (Hakke Rokujuu Yonshou) Type: Taijutsu Rank: Chuunin Cost: 150 Stamina + 150 Chakra Damage: 240 Effects: Character must have Byakugan open. Description: Taijutsu technique that must be used in conjunction with the Byakugan Eyes of the Hyuuga Clan and also requires a good deal of knolwedge of the Gentle Fist Style or Hyuuga Style Taijutsu. With the ability to see the inner coil system, the ninja performs a series of graceful movements while attacking sixty-four of the three hundred and sixty-one tenketsu. Requirements: Hyuuga Taijutsu Rank 2, Byakugan Mastery Rank 2, and Hakke Sanjuu Nishou ----------------------------------------- Name: Divine 128-Hit Palm Strike (Hakke Hyaku Nijuu Hachi Shou) Type: Taijutsu Rank: Jounin Cost: 300 Stamina + 300 Chakra Damage: 500 Effects: Character must have Byakugan open. With the ability to see the inner coil system, the ninja performs a series of graceful movements while attacking one hundred twenty-eight of the three hundred and sixty-one tenketsu. Requirements: Byakugan Mastery Rank 3, and Hakke Rokujuu Yonshou ----------------------------------------- Name: Divine 256-Hit Palm Strike (Hakke Nihyaku Gojuu Roku) Type: Taijutsu Rank: Sennin/Kage Cost: 600 Stamina + 600 Chakra Damage: 1000 Effects: Character must have Byakugan open. Breaks damage caps, but if target would be reduced to less than 1 Health, set them at 1 Health. Description: Perhaps the most powerful Hyuuga Technique ever known to be used in battle. With the ability to see the inner coil system, the ninja performs a series of graceful movements while attacking two hundred and fifty-six of the three hundred and sixty-one tenketsu. The only tenketsu that are not touched are the ones vital for life. This Jutsu is used by elite Hyuuga who try to capture a powerful foe for questioning. It is rarely used because the stress of using it leaves the Hyuuga in a very weakened state. Requirements: Byakugan Mastery Rank 4, Hakke Hyaku Nijuu Hachi Shou ----------------------------------------- Name: Divine Tenketsu Releasing Technique (Hakkeshou: Houshutsu Tenketsu no Jutsu) Type: Taijutsu Rank: Gennin Cost: 10% of Total Chakra Damage: N/A Effects: Character must have Byakugan open. Used during the Response Phase, it negates the effects and damage of any RANGED Taijutsu or Ninjutsu technique that is of lesser or equal Ninja Rank to your own. Genin may only use it TWO times per battle. Description: A Ninjutsu technique used in conjunction with Byakugan Eyes where the ninja expels chakra from every one of their tenketsu, effectively repelling any type of ranged attack moments before it would connect with them. This is the basic technique upon which the Kaiten improves upon, by which time the Chunnin has fully controlled the precise moment they can release their tenketsu. Requirements: Byakugan Sight Rank 1 ----------------------------------------- Name: Divine Cyclone (Hakkeshou: Kaiten) Type: Taijutsu Rank: Chuunin Cost: 10% of Total Chakra Damage: N/A (50%) Effects: Character must have Byakugan open. Used during the Response Phase, it negates the effects and damage of any Taijutsu or Ninjutsu technique that is of lesser or equal Ninja Rank to your own. If you counter a close range Ninjutsu/Taijutsu attack, the attacker takes 50% of the damage (Opponent applies 50% of their Evasion to dodge the attack). Description: A Ninjutsu technique used in conjunction with Byakugan Eyes where the ninja expels chakra from every one of their tenketsu, effectively pausing any type of attack moments before it would connect with them. Then, they spin their body like a top while continually expelling chakra from their body in a twisting sphere. Requirements: Byakugan Sight Rank 3, Byakugan Mastery Rank 3, Hakkeshou: Houshutsu Tenketsu no Jutsu ----------------------------------------- Note: Only medical cadets are allowed the Nail techniques and only warrior cadets are allowed the Trigger/Ignition techniques. Name: Niruida Kugi Egujitto (Double Nail Exit Technique) Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Gennin Cost: X + 5 (X Being the Cost of the Attack, in Chakra) Effects: Used in the Response Phase after being hit by a Jutsu. Target opponent that attacked user takes 50% of the damage dealt (do not apply modifiers). This character gains Health Power equal to this technique's damage. This Jutsu has +10% chance to-hit is raised if the Byakugan is open. Requirements: Hyuuga Clan Specific; Used during Response Phase. Works only in response to Taijutsu or Ninjutsu of equal or lesser rank than the user. Description: Prior wounded, the user charges the tips of two fingernails with chakra and plunge them into the opponent. Then, the user pulls out a thread of the hostile's stamina or chakra and use it to heal their own wound; the logic being that the energy that hurt them can mend them just as easily. This one of the trademark techniques of the Hyuuga medical shinobi. ----------------------------------------- Name: Yottsu Kugi Kisai (Four Nail Entry Technique) Type: Ninjutsu + Taijutsu Rank: Gennin Cost: X Chakra Times 6 (X being the number of modifiers); Y Stamina Times 5 (Y being the number of modifiers) Effects: Target character loses an amount of Taijutsu modifiers equal to half that character's level. User of this technique gains half of those modifiers added to their Defense and Resistance until the battle ends. If the Byakugan is open, then this technique gains a +10% chance to hit and drains Taijutsu modifiers equal to the target's level. Requirements: Hyuuga Clan Specific; Useable twice a battle. Description: One of the little known techniques perfected by Hyuuga medical shinobi, it is quite sinister when seen in action. The user charges the tips of two fingernails on both hands with chakra and plunges them into the hostile's arms. Pulling the vitality of the muscles below the skin, the medical shinobi gains added protection by syphoning it away. ----------------------------------------- Name: Kaisen Hikigane (Itch Trigger Technique) Type: Taijutsu Rank: Gennin Cost: X - 5 Stamina (X being the cost of the incoming attack) Effect: Replaces Response Phase dodge roll. Damage that would be dealt to the user from the incoming attack is reduced by 25%. This cannot be used in response to Genjutsu. User gains the status of Ready until the end of their next turn. If the Byakugan is open, then this technique reduces the damage by 50%. Requirements: Hyuuga Clan Specific; Used during the Response Phase. Cannot be used against Genjutsu. Description: One of the well-known warrior reflexes of the Hyuuga clan, this is one of their signature techniques. Upon seeing an incoming attack, the user dodges just enough of it to leave a small wound. While it is painful, this leaves them with the time to begin the counter-assault against the hostile. Ready Status Effect: User's next action, if an attack, has a +15% chance to hit and a d6 is rolled. If any odd number turns up, then the attack does 1.5 times its normal damage. This also allows for specified techniques. Lasts until the next action is finished. ----------------------------------------- Name: Tenka Sotsujii (Sudden Ignition Technique) Type: Ninjutsu + Taijutsu Rank: Gennin Cost: X Chakra Times 5 (X being the number of modifiers); Y Stamina Times 6 (Y being the number of modifiers) Effects: Target character loses an amount of Ninjutsu modifiers equal to half that character's level. Description: Similar to one the Hyuuga medical jutsu, but this is however the warrior version of it. Since the warriors are more adept at melee combat, they eliminate one of the more major forms by shutting tenketsu with a few quick jabs. This makes it extremely difficult for the hostile to get any power out of their jutsu and leaves them exposed to the users next assault. ----------------------------------------- Clan Skills Note: Only medical cadets are allowed Medical Conditioning and Channeling while warrior cadets are allowed Ironbound and Formula Mind. Medical Conditioning Bloodline: Hyuuga Description: It is thought that being a warrior is the most noble of callings for a shinobi, but the Hyuuga Clan believes differently. They place medical shinobi above all else and make sure their training is incredibly punishing, yet enlightening. Special: (Faith) For every rank in Channeling, the cost of these skills are lowered by 1. One skill point must be paid at a minimum, however. ----------------------------------------- Rank 1 Effects: For every 5 points of user's Health healed in combat, 1 point of Stamina is also healed. This character gets a permanent boost of 25 Health Power and Stamina upon taking this skill. Cost: -2 ----------------------------------------- Rank 2 Effects: For every 5 points of user's Health healed in combat, 1 point of Chakra is also healed. This character gets a permanent boost of 25 Health and Chakra. Stacks with all previous ranks in this skill. Cost: -2 ----------------------------------------- Rank 3 Effects: For every 4 points of user's Health healed in combat, 1 point of Chakra and Stamina are also healed. (This replaces Rank 1 and 2). This character gets a permanent boost of 50 Health, 50 Chakra, and 50 Stamina. Cost: -4 ----------------------------------------- Channeling Bloodline: Hyuuga Description: Able to push far more out of their medical techniques than any other type of medical shinobi, Hyuuga medics are known for having this most wondrous abilities when it comes to healing. Special: (Faith) For every rank in Medical Conditioning, the cost of these skills are lowered by 1. One skill point must be paid at a minimum, however. ----------------------------------------- Rank 1 Effects: Ninjutsu modifies the effectiveness of medical techniques, but only at a rate of 25%. (One out of every four modifiers is applied) Cost: -1 ----------------------------------------- Rank 2 Effects: Ninjutsu modifies the effectiveness of medical techniques, but only at a rate of 50%. (Two out of every four modifiers are applied) Cost: -2 ----------------------------------------- Rank 3 Effects: Ninjutsu modifies the effectiveness of medical techniques, but only at a rate of 75%. (Three out of every four modifiers are applied) Cost: -2 ----------------------------------------- Rank 4 Effects: Ninjutsu modifies the effectiveness of medical techniques completely. (Four out of every four modifiers are applied) Cost: -3 ----------------------------------------- Formula Mind Bloodline: Hyuuga Description: While the medical shinobi of the Hyuuga clan may be revered, that is by no means to say that the warriors of the clan are weak. They are still some of the most fearsome shinobi known and for a very good reason. They learn many jutsu quickly, giving them tons of options. However, they tend to overlook precise chakra ratios and needlessly waste chakra. Special: (Overload) If taken with Ironbound, then the increased cost of all jutsus is lowered by the amount it would be raised per a rank, without stacking. Only applies if character has equal ranks of Ironbound and Formula Mind. ----------------------------------------- Rank 1 Effects: Character gains an additional jutsu slot (or Jutsu point if that change is going to be made) whenever a level is gained. Ratio is 1:1. Cost of all jutsus is increased by 10. Cost: -1 ----------------------------------------- Rank 2 Effects: Characters gains three additional jutsu slots whenever two levels are gained. Ratio is 1.5:1. Cost of all jutsus is increased by 15. This does not stack with Rank 1 of this skill. Cost: -1 ----------------------------------------- Rank 3 Effects: Character gains two addtional jutsu slots whenever a level is gained. Ratio is 2:1. Cost of all jutsus is increased by 20. This does not stack with Rank 1 or 2 of this skill. Cost: -2 ----------------------------------------- Ironbound Bloodline: Hyuuga Description: The warrior shinobi of the Hyuuga clan are taught to utilize the pain and anger from being wounded and use it to make them fight far harder than any other type of shinobi ever could. This is used to great effect during battle to outlast most hostiles while retaining the ability to constantly strike back. Special: (Overload) If taken with Formula Mind, then instead of taking additional damage, the character takes lessened damage equal to the amount it would be increased by the rank, without stacking. Only applies if character has equal ranks of Ironbound and Formula Mind. ----------------------------------------- Rank 1 Effects: Whenever this character takes damage from either Taijutsu or Shojutsu, they gain 10% of that damage back as Stamina. Whenever this character takes damage from either Ninjutsu or Genjutsu, they gain 10% of that damage back as Chakra. Character takes an additional 5% damage from all attacks. Cost: -2 ----------------------------------------- Rank 2 Effects: Whenever this character takes damage from either Taijutsu or Shojutsu, they gain 20% of that damage back as Stamina. Whenever this character takes damage from either Ninjutsu or Genjutsu, they gain 20% of that damage back as Chakra. Does not stack with Rank 1. Whenever this character takes damage from either Ninjutsu or Genjutsu, they gain 30% of that damage back as Chakra. Does not stack with Rank 2. Character takes an additional 15% damage from all attacks. Cost: -2 ----------------------------------------- ~Bloodline Skills~ Hyuuga Taijutsu (Gentle Fist) Bloodline: Hyuuga Description: The inner coil system that transfers chakra around the body is very close and is essentially a part of all of the human body, including crucial organs. Members of the Hyuuga clan train in a special fighting style that requires the Byakugan and excellent chakra control; through the Byakugan they are able to see the opponent's inner coil system which they forcefully channel their own chakra into, causing severe damage to organs nearby. The technique earned its name because even a seemingly gentle, unimpressive hit can prove lethal Limits: Gennin may not spend more than 60 Chakra Chuunin may not spend more than 120 Chakra Jounin may not spend more than 240 Chakra Kage/Sennin may not spend more than 500 Chakra ---------------------------------------- Rank 1 - Hyuuga Jyuuken Taijutsu Effect: Whenever user attacks with basic attacks or Taijutsu, they may apply as much Chakra as they wish to apply. Guest Ichi-kun Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 Channeling Bloodline: N/A Description: Able to push far more out of their medical techniques than any other type of medical shinobi, Hyuuga medics are known for having this most wondrous abilities when it comes to healing. Guest MrSako Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 Yes, the ability stacks with Adept Medic. It is basically a way of using Ninjutsu modifiers to apply to Ninjutsu without having to take 'Path of the Medical Ninja' (which has its own unique drawbacks) Quote
Guest sasukepwnz Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 If we are Hyuuga right now, do we need to upadte our sheets with this info then? Quote
Guest Ichi-kun Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 I think its for the reset, not 100% sure but I think its for later. Quote

Kouta Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 Ok, here's the deal: In medical conditioning, since it gives direct stats, cannot be sennin/jounin trained for nulled cost. @ Stan: Stan, since this is not the official new form, no, there will be no change..yet. Now Then... Again, Sako, you piss me off with that "I"m gonna negate the power to steal the bloodline!" that you tried to do in the Uchiha Clan too. Only about half the clan gets the caged bird seal, not all of it. 2 of your spots ought to be main, two ought to be branch, and the branch get the seal...end of story. Alos, the caged bird seal also allows those of the main branch to instantly kill those with seal (although that would be a seperate technique that kills the target if he/she has the caged bird seal.... And sako, if three ninja got together (hyuugan, recipient, & med ninja) and decided to do a secret transfusion, outside of Konoha, where they are the only ones who knew about it, how the hell would your clan heads know? So a transfusion is definately possible (I mean hyuuga to non hyuuga, since you say pride keeps them from mingling with lesser bloodlines) ---------------------------------- Now to murder the nail tecchies! The first one...WAAAAAAAAAAAAY too powerful! 1) Cannot effect ninjas or jutsu of a higher rank than the user. 2) Only heals 1/4 the damage dealt, not all of it, which is unaffected by the mods of ninjutsu, no matter what. 3) Damage dealt back can be dodged normally (like all counter jutsu). 4) Heal is only successful is the damaging is successful. 5) User must be HIT by the opponent in order to use this, meaning they do not dodge, or use any blocking jutsu, but actually take damage (so they can partially block, but will only use the damage they actually took..so if they defend, they reflect half of 0 damage that they took)...make that clause clear. Fourl Nail: 1) Cannot drain more than opponent has. You never state that, so make it clear for our nooblets. 2) If at any time the user uses a medical jutsu on themselves, the mods are returned (although the user does not lose what they've gained, this merely shows that the muscles can re-organize themselves and be used properly after a bit of rest) Quote
Guest MrSako Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 Ok, here's the deal: In medical conditioning, since it gives direct stats, cannot be sennin/jounin trained for nulled cost. There will be -NO- Sennin training... scratch that, I will not allow Jounins to teach Clan Skills belonging to either Uchiha or Hyuuga. @ Stan: Stan, since this is not the official new form, no, there will be no change..yet. End of story? Well if you say so... alright then, two of the Clan Members... and I don't want to edit in the part about Main members being able to kill them outright... that requires a hidden technique that only the Clan Head knows, so there. And sako, if three ninja got together (hyuugan, recipient, & med ninja) and decided to do a secret transfusion, outside of Konoha, where they are the only ones who knew about it, how the hell would your clan heads know? So a transfusion is definately possible (I mean hyuuga to non hyuuga, since you say pride keeps them from mingling with lesser bloodlines) I will not allow transfusions. That goes hugely with the roleplaying. If you will not roleplay the character as such, then you will not be part of the Clan. ---------------------------------- Now to murder the nail tecchies! Kouta Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 (edited) Oh, speaking of the bloodline...one big qualm...no negating genjutsu fully..thats my only real qualm.
