Warr Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 (edited) Kaze no Kuni The Country of Wind Kaze no Kuni -or the Country of Wind-, is a land which is dominated by the aforementioned element. It has carved harsh valleys and unexpected hillsides, and decimated many farming communities that have tried to show themselves outside those windswept river valleys it wholes in all but unknown places. A land of desert, the populace of Kaze no Kuni have always relied heavily upon trade, hunting of desert animals, mining, and craftsmanship to bring a means of leaving. Ruled by a Daimyo in the days preceding the invasion by Kumogakure no Sato and its forces, it was a tyrannical barony in all but name soon after. Be it because of tribal, clan, or regional differences, the various resistance groups which evolved under this sort of situation could not unite until they were all but decimated. In a final stroke of 'genius', the country of the wind's new daimyo who is also Sunagakure no Sato's new Kazekage; organized an assault that was so fierce -and supported by the people themselves in such a way- that neither the Sunagakure no Sato NCIA, or his father the former Daimyo Takashuri Shiro could stand a chance of surviving the assault. The aftermath brought about freedom, but this was only mere days in the past. There are still struggles ahead for the people of Kaze no Kuni and their allies. Takashuri Keito The Village Hidden in the Sand has long been one of the great shinobi villages, and is still one of the most powerful villages, even with its recent scars from a succession of wavering and unhealthy Kazekage, and with the fact that some severe damage was caused during the assault inspired, organized, and led by Takashuri Keito. Not at all unrealistic, the country has been allied with its neighbor, The Country of the Earth, since before its liberation and the 'crowning' of the new Daimyo and Kazekage, the Brilliant young shinobi 'Takashuri Keito'.
