Actually... if you read the conversation very carefully, you will find the following: Sakura is lying to Naruto (which is what Naruto suspected all along, due to all the previous stuff). She is lying to Naruto so that she can convince him to KILL Sasuke, instead of trying to SAVE him. Note that from a few Mangas before, Sakura came to the conclusion that IF Naruto saves Sasuke, other Villages will send people to hunt him down, and likely kill him. If Sasuke gets killed, there will be war between Konoha and other Villages because Sasuke's friends may try to avenge him. Therefore... this is all an act. Sakura is 'confessing' to Naruto to try and get him to think 'aha... I can kill Sasuke and be done with this love triangle stuff.' So... in the end, we actually have (drum roll please...) CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT IN SAKURA!!! By the way... Naru-Hina forever. And I'm going back to trolling. PS - the 'legend of Jiraiya' anime was cool... one of the defining moments, indeed.

I'd be even more impressed if he could summon a monkey out of his butt. In any case, hopefully this means that the manga is coming to a close. That is, until we have the various spin-offs that we have aforementioned. Actually, I have reinvented them... 1. The Adventures of Bee and Lee: this is a rock n' rap, kick-ass mini-series that features the drunken Lee dancing and whirling to the rap tunes of Bee. Instant best-seller. 2. Love Hinata: a nerdy girl takes over her uncle's dormitory in a nudist colony, only to uppercut them when they try to hit on her. 3. Sakura Blooms: a true story of how getting implants does wonders for your dating life. Back to Naruto... so, unresolved question: when is the 'key' going to be inserted into Naruto? What will the effect be? My suspicion is that it will allow him to expel the 9-tails from his body. Madara will then capture the Kyuubi and somewhere before then, will get the 8-tails, too, and get the Juubi back into existence.

Naruto and Sasuke will perform the fusion dance, go Sharingan-Sage mode J4, and then blow up the beast. In their fused state, they will also have a wild orgy with Hinata, Karin, and Sakura, and the Froggegan will be created. Back to my slumber... seriously... calling me out with my 7 balls...

Well... when this 'universe' was created, it was made before shippunden started. So you can think of this as a separate timeline / multiverse. In any case, back to manga discussion... Susanoo... interesting, but not that creative. I actually think that the plot is starting to degrade. I mean seriously... 1) Why does everyone have to have an eye technique? - Danzo was revealed to have one... - the Kumo nin was revealed to have the Byakugan... I mean, that is a serious break in the whole Hyuuga Clan must not allow their eye technique to fall into the enemy hands thing, with Neiji's dad sacrificing himself, so that they get nothing. If a Hyuuga goes missing, they hunt him down. And if his eyes get taken by the enemy, you take it back. 2) I thought this was called Naruto? - all we've seen recently is more Sasuke vs. the Kages. And Sasuke is doing a pretty sorry ass job at it. Sorry, but Naruto would have won. Except he allows himself to get beat up. 3) Samurais with chakra - this is a BIG YES. Someone should definitely make a character along this line... sort of like how Mokujin had stuff before all related to swordplay. Any takers? 4) I will go back into hibernation. The end of Naruto is near... and when it is over... when NA gets the next 'reboot' you can then use the entire Naruto series as your backdrop and create a universe from scratch anew.

I've already said... the final technique will be FUSION. Sharingan + Fox eyes + Sage eyes = the Ray Charles eyes of death. Oh... I think the theory of him having Madara's other eye is a good one, too. Especially since he needed to talk to Madara 'about the eye' which means he might be giving it back? Maybe...

Danzo just took the other eye from Obito... Kakashi got one, he probably harvested the other. Just my two cents. But what I really want to know is what the connection is between Madara and Danzo. And... doesn't Danzo have a bandaged up arm, too? Maybe that is another graft?

I have a stiffy for... *cough* ahem. Tsunade was picked more so for her heritage and legendary sennin status. However, the Daimyo of the Fire Country is an idiot and easily swayed, it seems. With Danzou being made Hokage, I expect to see something close to a Civil War in Konoha, which should take about 100 or so weeks to resolve. Ultimately he is prolonging the Naruto drama. I want him to wrap things up and end it by #500. Naruto gets props only because he brought people back to life. So I can see how the Villagers are grateful. I mean seriously... if you absolutely hated someone because a lot of people died because of that person (or the demon fox trapped inside of them), your views might change if your brother died and because of that someone, was brought back to life. Maybe. It is also called 'mob mentality' so that when a bunch celebrated, the rest followed suit. I'm not sure if this will take a dark turn, but if I was Danzou, I would do the following... 1. Kill Tsunade while she is in a coma. Although it seems as though once someone is declared Hokage, the leadership of the other is suspended (ex. the 4th Hokage), if that Kage dies, the previous one gets 're-activated' (the 3rd came back to lead). Killing Tsunade will cement his power. He just has to make it seem as though she just couldn't recover. 2. Kill Naruto. Seriously... that kid is a menace to the general good of Konoha. Despite 'saving everyone' he is also the reason why Konoha is in shambles, i.e. Akatsuki came after him. You don't want those problems, so take him out. 3. Kill Kakashi. Too smart/powerful for your own good, he's the type who would probably investigate and find out your past badness. So basically... kill all the Ninjas that are dangerous to you. Forge a cold and bitter new group of Ninjas (ex. Bloody Mist trials anyone?). Then... do whatever the hell you damn please. Such as cutting off alliances with weaker Villages, opting to take them out, so that you are the sole Hidden Village able to get jobs. Oh, side note... Naruto just doesn't have the strength to get it up for Hinata at this point. Let him regen for a few pages first. ^^

finally, some real plot! DANZO, FTW! I would now like to see a Chidori put through his heart.

No one can touch my dragon balls (enuendo implied). We tried it here on NA and it didn't work, remember? ;-) Anyway... he just used the uber 'bring back everyone I killed 30 pages ago' Jutsu, so that is why Jiraiya can't be brought back. Otherwise he'd bring back -everyone- he'd ever killed, and that might create a problem. However... I am -still- waiting for one Ninja to develop time travel and come back and give Naruto medicine when he contracts the heart disease that they can't cure in his current time, to stop the evil Sentinels from the future from killing all mutant ninjas with bloodlines.
