  1. Can a level 20 Gennin use the Dark Element if they have purchased all 5 subtle elements as well as the combinatorial skill for dark?
  2. Dark Vector Style: Grip of the underworld Type: Ninjutsu [Dark; Personal] Rank: Chuunin Cost: 150 Damage: 60 Effects: Shackled Paired Legs for 2 turns. Shackled [Paired Legs]: Speed and Evasion are reduced by 75%, any action requiring legs may not be used for duration of battle until effect has worn off and cannot be stacked with 'Hamstrung'. The effect lasts for 2 Turns. Description: Soru will quickly mold his chakra into several dark vector arrows, however these arrows are immediately sent under the ground, the trail of dark chakra leading from Sorus hands and body into the ground is so small most humans will miss it. Soru then controls the Dark vectors underneath the ground to come out of the ground near the opponents legs, he then wraps them around the opponents legs as quick as he can, molding his dark chakra until the opponents legs are of no use to them. Finally he sends a pulse of dark chakra through the dark vectors using this to increase the pressure on the opponents legs, inevitably crushing them. Cost: 5 Dark Vector Style: Shotgun Type: Ninjutsu [Dark;Personal] Rank: Chuunin Cost: 100 Damage: 120 Effect: N/A Description: Soru channels his dark chakra into his fists, letting out a barrage of vector arrows shaped from the darkness forth from his clenched fist. The Dark vector arrows burst out in several directions and then all close in on the target slicing them to ribbons. Cost: 4 Dark Vector Style: True Darkness Type: Ninjutsu [Dark; Personal] Rank: Chuunin Cost: 120 Damage: 20 Effect: Enemy is Blind for 2 turns. Blind: Your accuracy is reduced to 20 (unless you had less accuracy than 20), unless your character has an unusual ability to use their other senses (i.e. Inuzuka sense of smell, Nerves of Insanity's enhanced senses, Blind Guardian's ability to function without sight) and your evasion is likewise reduced to 0 except in the aforementioned circumstances Description: Soru channels his chakra to create several dark vector arrows, which he sends after the enemy, following them as far as they run within his vision until they catch up with their target. He then manipulates the vector arrows to wrap around the top of his enemies head, effectively blinding them through the dark energy. Cost: 5 Dark Vector Style: Vector Vortex Type: Ninjutsu [Dark; Personal] Rank: Chuunin Cost: 136 Damage: 70 Effect: Enemy is Dizzy for 2 turns. Dizzy: User is unable to use Genjutsu based attacks, concentration is cut in half, chance of hitting -20%. Description: Soru uses his chakra to form several Dark Vector Arrows, he then commands these arrows to grapple onto the enemies legs, he controls the arrows until they wrap around the ankles of his enemy. Soru then channels more chakra and forces the arrows to drag the enemy into the air, swinging them around extremely fast over and over for thirty seconds, until he releases the grip on his enemy sending them flying into whatever object is closest. This often leaves the enemy dizzy or disorientated for a short period. Cost: 5 Dark Vector Style: Vector Blast Type: Ninjutsu [Dark; Personal] Rank: Gennin Cost: 10 per arrow Damage: 10 per arrow Effect: Form up to 5 Dark Vector arrows to shoot at the enemy. Description: Quickly forming several vector arrows with his chakra, Soru manipulates the forms of the arrows until he has enough arrows for an attack. He then pumps the dark vector arrows with more chakra, blasting them from his hands at his target enemy. Cost: 3

Dark Vector Style: Emergency Grapple Type: Ninjutsu [Dark; Personal] Rank: Chuunin Cost: 1.25X Chakra (X=Damage) Damage: N/A Effect: Used in the Resphonse Phase, this technique negates the effects and damage of a ninjutsu technique of equal or lesser rank than this technique. The user may not act in their main phase the turn this is used. 5% chance of failure. This may only be used 3 times per battle. Description: Soru channels his dark chakra forming it into three black vector arrows. Soru then shoots the arrows at the closest object to grab onto, using the dark vectors as a pivoting point, he then activates his bloodline, allowing him to compress his cellular structure and warp himself out of harms way. Cost: 4 Jippou Doutai: Emergency Cellular Dispersion Type: Ninjutsu [Dousojin; Personal] Rank: Chuunin Cost: 1.25X (X=Damage) Damage: N/A Effect:Used in the Resphonse Phase, this technique negates the effects and damage of a taijutsu technique, or series of basic/weapon attacks. The user may not act in their main phase the turn this is used. May only be used to counter taijutsu techniques of this rank (Chuunin). 5% chance of failure. This may only be used 3 times per battle. Description: If Soru can see his enemy coming at him with a potential taijutsu attack, Soru can channel his chakra throughout his body and begin the process of breaking down his cellular structure and sending it to a nearby location. Once his cells are broken down he warps himself to the location he was picturing in his mind, avoiding the physical damage with ease. Cost: 4 Dark Vector Style: Dark Vector Wall Type: Ninjutsu [Dark;Personal] Rank: Jounin Cost: X Chakra (X=Damage) Damage: N/A Effect: Used in the Response Phase. This technique negates damage and effects from all Ninjutsu string of attacks (of equal or less rank to the user) aimed at the user of this jutsu, where x is the total damage. This technique also negates the effects but only half the damage from all Taijutsu string of attacks (of equal or less rank to this technique) aimed at the user of this justu. May not act in their main phase the turn that this is used. 5% chance of failure. This may only be used 5 times per battle. Description: Quickly channeling his dark chakra, Soru is able to manifest a large quantity of Dark Vector arrows with relative ease. After forming all of the arrows, He then sends these arrows underneath the ground to all come up from underneath in front of Soru, making a wall of dark vector arrows to shield him from harm in a matter of seconds. Cost: 6 Dark Vector Style: Vector Cannon Type: Ninjutsu [Dark; Personal] Rank: Chuunin Cost: 120 Damage: 50 Effect: Enemy is Clobbered for 2 turns. Clobbered: When afflicted by this the character may only use Jutsu with a DP less than or equal to twice their level, or basic attacks. Description: Soru manipulates his chakra to form a large barrel of dark chakra. He then channels this dark chakra further shaping it into vector arrows, filling up the inside of the barrel with vector arrows. Soru then controls the "cannon" using his chakra as an accelerant coupled with the dark vector powers, effectively blasting a barrage of vector arrows from the cannon at his target enemy. The speed with which the arrows are launched from the cannon at the enemy makes this a very hard attack to dodge. Cost: 5

It is unable to attack or interact with other objects, but can serve as a good distraction. Effect: Adds +5x evasion and +5x accuracy for each clone. Once a clone is hit it is destroyed, and the bonuses with it. A bunshin is considered to have 0 evasion and rolls to dodge whenever it is targeted in the user's response phase. The value of x is the number of clones you have made. Maximum of 8 bunshin can be made. Name: Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Technique) Type: Genjutsu Rank: Academy Student Cost: 5 Genjutsu Effects: Change your appearance. A character 25+ levels above the one who uses this technique can see through it. Description: Wrap chakra around your body to change your appearance. You take that physical form, but only to a certain extent, such as body shape and size. You cannot, for instance, turn your arm into a bow and start firing ammunition at an opponent. Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu (Body Substitute Technique) Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Academy Student Cost: 10 Damage: None Effects: Evade the next attack aimed at you. Skip your main and setup phase this turn. You can only use this 1 time per battle. This technique cannot be used to dodge Ninjutsu, Taijutsu or Genjutsu Techniques. Description: A lifesaver, and a must-have technique. With this technique, the user is able to swap their body with a nearby object, usually a log, which will take the full force of any incoming blows for them, while they retreat to safe ground or search for an opening. Ninjutsu <--| Water Element Techniques |--> Water Hijutsu: Hidden Mist Skill (Kirigakure no Jutsu) Type: Ninjutsu [Kiri; Water] Rank: Gennin Cost: 80 Chakra Damage: N/A Effect: Adds terrain effect 'Mist' to the battlefield for three turns. The user does not suffer the Mist terrain penalty while they keep this jutsu active. Terrain effect is doubled for those with an active Doujutsu. Description: A technique that uses moisture in the air to engulf the opponent in mist. This mist makes it harder for your opponent to see, which gives you more of a chance for a sucessful strike. Cost: 4 Water Hijutsu: Secret Might (Kyuusho Chikara) Type: Ninjutsu [General; Water] Rank: Gennin Cost: 60 Chakra Damage: 60 Ghost Damage Effect: Damage dealt is "ghost" damage. If the damage would cause the target to die they are completely stunned for one post instead. See Jutsu Rules for ghost damage explanation. Description: The user creates the form of any type of water jutsu they wish, regardless of level or restrictions, and uses the phantom jutsu to crush their opponent, shocking them senseless. In instances where a jounin is present, the amount of relevant posts is reduced by 25%(Rounded up.) The increased post requirement may not be reduced through any means, and the post reducing aspect of this may not stack with other similar effects. Description: "Genius" intellect is a strange classification of superior intuition found in many aspects of the world. Genius, in the modern day, is often simply considered to have exceptional talent in shinobi combat or abilities, though mundane "Genius" is often overlooked in lieu of the aforementioned. Some people, while not exceptionally above their fellow shinobi in outright combat, simply have the capacity to learn and adapt far more quickly than others. In this instance, a person is found to have an exceptionally high intellect in academic situations, political maneuvers, or other such "mundane" aspects of modern life. Requirements: Requires Quick Learner, and must be taken at character creation. -2 The Path of the Shaman Effect: Character gains 1 extra Jutsu Point every other level. Nature's Path: (Choose Two) - Earthen Rage: May take ‘Shiva, The Destroyer’ for 1 skill point. - Fighter's Spirit: May take 2 ranks of 'Ninjutsu Mastery' for 1 skill point. RP Guide: - Pacifistic in nature, these characters can rarely lust for blood, nor will they out of their way to cause needless death and destruction. They can almost never bring themselves to inflict harm upon the earth, so wildly manipulating the elements to destroy the land would harm their deep connection with the world, and also cause their consequences to resonate through their own bodies. These characters have a deep respect for all things living and deceased, and can occasionally be rumored to commune with spirits long passed as they age. Requirements: Cost: -1 Quick Learner Effect: +10% EXP From Missions and Training. EXP given as holiday gifts or handed out from events by the staff is not included in this. Cost: -2 Subtle Elements; 3 Ranks (-2 total; 1 free rank from starting village) Subtle Elements; Water Effect: May use Water element techniques. All water techniques cost 10% less and deal 10% more base damage when near a large source of liquid water, rounded up. Cost: 0 Rank: 3 (1 rank free from being a kiri nin) Subtle Elements; Wind Effect: May use Wind element techniques. Any response phase techniques that blocks a Wind Techniques costs an additional 10% to use, rounded up. Cost: -1 Rank: 3 Subtle Elements; Earth Effect: May use Earth element techniques. All defensive Earth Techniques give an additional 10% to their effects, rounded up. Cost: -1 Rank: 3 Combinatorial Elements; Combinatorial; Ice Effect: May use Ice Element techniques. Any turn that a player is under a cold related status effect inflicted from an Ice Technique, they also take 10 unmodified damage. This does not stack with itself. In addition, the user may choose to apply the bonus from one of the Subtle Element skills required to learn this skill. Requirements: Subtle Elements; Water & Wind Cost: -1 Jippou Doutai [Everywhere At Once] "A bird once told me the wonders of flight. If only he knew." -- Dousojin Hyoushitsu Jippou Doutai is an ability entirely unique to the Dousojin clan. Jokingly called Gi Maigo [Art of the Lost Child] by clan members, this bloodline allows instantaneous travel. Unlike the simpler forms of displacement such as the body flickers, the Jippou Doutai holds no roots in the possessor's natural agility- "If you have time to think it, you are there." This technique is, in theory and on paper, incredibly complex. Utilizing their kekkei genkai, the wielder's body will compress itself rapidly then disassemble itself at the molecular level. Once their body has scattered, the molecules will reform themselves at the last location present in the user's mind. During translocation, the user's body will seem to distort and be rapidly (Within the span of less than a second) be imploded to a central point, at which point they will no longer be seen at their original location. At the time of reformation, loose matter such as gas and liquid will be displaced to allow for the insertion of the Dousojin. However, solid matter (walls, trees, etc) will -not- become displaced. At early stages of the Dousojin's creation, it was not uncommon to see clan members reforming within solid objects and losing limbs or even their lives. As a counter to this, clan members have portions of their bloodline sealed at birth to prevent irresponsible translocation to result in injury or death. As a clan member's abilities mature and they are seen to be responsible enough, the head of their immediate family will remove a portion of their seal and allow them to move larger distances. **General Rule; During a turn that Jippo Doutai is used, no regeneration may occur.** Mabataki [blink] (1) Effects: RP; Taker may roleplay being able to translocate themselves to any location within their immediate sight. They may bypass walls if they have been inside the interior of a location previously, but may not move more than 25 yards this way if they are unable to 'see' their target destination. All travelling has its total word requirement cut by 200 words, to a minimum of 100 words. Battle: Once per turn, at a cost of 5% of the user's total chakra, a bearer of the Jippo Doutai may activate the Jippo Doutai during their setup phase. When activated, any attack made in the main phase has a 20% chance to be treated as if it were under the effects of "half-opening". The roll to determine this takes place before the end of the turn, with a roll of 1-20 being successful. If this ability fails to activate, the user is refunded 2.5% of their total chakra. Cost: -3 Requirements: None Chouyaku [Jump] (2) Effects: RP; Taker may roleplay being able to translocate themselves to any location within their immediate sight or within a two mile radius of themselves as long as they have been to or seen the location previously. All travelling has its total word requirement cut by 300 words, to a minimum of 100 words. Does not stack with Mabataki [blink]. Battle; Once per turn, at a cost of 5% of the user's total chakra, a bearer of the Jippo Doutai may activate the Jippo Doutai during their setup phase. When activated, any attack made in the main phase has a 40% chance to be treated as if it were under the effects of "half-opening". The roll to determine this takes place before the end of the turn, with a roll of 1-40 being successful. If this ability fails to activate, the user is refunded 2.5% of their total chakra. Cost; -3 Requirements; Level 15, Mabataki. Fire Specialty [Locked until level 30] Description: Naturally aligned to the element of the fire, this character has a natural tact at using and manipulating fire to their bidding. The user's chakra is very fierce and can flow through the body, giving it heightened reaction speed and agility, much like the flickering of a flame. Effect: User has a +10% chance to dodge any attack. Fire Jutsu cost one less JP to a minimum of 1. User receives the skill “Subtle Elements: Fire” for free and may purchase an additional rank of “Subtle Elements”. If the user already has “Subtle Elements: Fire”, they may have their points refunded. Level 30*: 10 post Jounin training. -0 Lightning Specialty [Locked until level 80] Naturally aligned to the element of the lightning, this character has a natural tact at using and manipulating lightning to their bidding. This chakra is known for its ability to pierce barriers and move at rapid speeds, making it optimal for being able to strike an opponent. User has a +10% chance to hit with all Ninjutsu -or- Taijutsu -or- Genjutsu attacks (choose one when this skill is learned). Lightning Jutsu cost one less JP to a minimum of 1. User receives the skill “Subtle Elements: Lightning” for free and may purchase an additional rank of “Subtle Elements”. If the user already has “Subtle Elements: Lighting”, they may have their points refunded. Level 80: 5 post training. -0 Hindering Traits Self-Defense Effect: User does not get a turn in battle until an opponent has a turn. If all characters have this skill, ignore the effects. +2 Poor Stamina Manipulation Effect: Your stamina system just fails to respond sometimes. Like an engine not turning over, once in awhile you just fail to create the energy to do your superhuman feats of strength. Before using a Taijutsu technique, roll a d10. On 1or2 Jutsu fails.   8. ~Background~ Current Allegiance: Kiri History: In the village of Kiri there was a ninja couple that recently had a child. These ninja were of the Dousojin clan, Shiro Dousojin and Natsumi Dousojin were deeply in love and decided to have a child, it was a boy they named Soru because he was their souls, Soru was everything to Natsumi and Shiro. For the first major part of his life Soru had a very enjoyable normal childhood. Around the time Soru was ten, kumo and the empire took over all of the ninja countries. The NCIA was formed and ad rule over each of the countries at the time. During this conflict between the countries, Soru and his mother and father lived as nomads, going from town to town crossing the roads when needed. They were all from the dousojin clan which gave them the ability to warp themselves wherever they needed. Being captured by the cloud ninja was not a problem for the family because of this, if they ever ran into trouble they could all teleport away, Soru wasnt quite as good at teleportation yet because of his young age, but his brilliant mind allowed him quick understanding of the skills needed to use his bloodline ability. During the control of the Kumo empire, Soru was able to warp small distances with much practice on his part, he was beginning to unlock his bloodline ability much faster then his mother and father thought possible. Soru was always very into reading, he loved reading anything that interested him or could better his intelligence, being smart was something that came natural to Soru, it isn't a surprise because of his very intellectual parents but nonetheless his progress has been much faster then previously thought. Throughout the entirety of the kumo rule Soru, Natsumi and Shiro continued to live in this manner, never staying in one place for too long to avoid the cloud ninja. This clever plan allowed the family to be relatively free of contact with the cloud ninjas during the conflict, the fall of the kumo empire brought back the rule of each country. And when this occurred, Shiro, Natsumi, and Soru all headed back home to their village of Kiri. After the fall of Kumo, Soru was old enough to enroll in the reestablished ninja academy, and with the conflicts resolved Natsumi and Shiro no longer objected to this. Soru was enrolled in the ninja academy and graduated in no time with top marks in his class, he took to most skills very quickly and with ease demonstrating how much of a genius he truly was. By the time Soru graduated from the ninja academy he was able to fully control the basics of his bloodline skill, being able to warp himself to places in his direct vision with mere ease after all of his hard work finally paid off. Now Soru is 17, he is graduated from the ninja academy and begining to make himself a name. Soru picked up a smoking habit about a year ago, his parents had always smoked before and he thought of it as a way of relaxing himself should he be too stressed. He quickly took a liking to the feeling of smoking and now smokes as much as he can. With the rule of kiri being reinstated for awhile now, Soru should have no problem getting missions to prepare himself for the upcoming chuunin exams. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  9. ~Persona~ Personality: Sorus personality is very laid back and nonchalant, from birth it was noted that he had significant intelligence for his age compared to others, this "genius" would follow him for all of his life, Soru was incredibly tactical and smart when the situation required it. Soru tries to make himself out to be what he believes a "cool" person. Soru often will say how he feels about a situation by saying how cool or not cool the situation is. Trying to be a cool person has led to things like Soru becoming an avid smoker, despite the fact that not everyone believes smoking is cool. Soru is a very calm, reserved, but laid back individual. At the same time though, Soru is a very stubborn person, its hard to convince him his way of thinking isn't right. This drive to be cool has led to one positive aspect of Soru, he is one of the most loyal people you could ever meet, breaking promises and changing sides "is not cool at all" and Soru stands by this with all of his being. Soru is very much a slacker when it comes to getting things done that don't explicitly interest him, often searching for the easiest way to go about a solution or whatever will make the problem disappear the fastest. Soru is a bit of a glutton when it comes to food, simply thinking about some of his favorite foods causes him to drool. Around his head he wears his Haitai ate for Kiri, along with some personal modifications of his own. Soru sewed in white letters on the left side , "SOUL" which is the nickname his friends call him. Soru wears a pair of maroon pants, with black and yellow sandals he carved a pattern with the shape of his teeth into. Soru always wears a black and yellow jacket with a hood attached, the jacket has his family logo sewed into the back.
