I myself just started a DnD game for the first time with a relatively new DM. Granted, unlike Rhapsody, mine is not so hot... That, and he has a penis... It's going alright thus far, though he made the first encounter against enemies who were far far stronger than us. We managed to survive (barely), but it was intense. As of right now, I have a Shadar-Kai Avenger that kinda specializes as an AoE tank of sorts.

Nah, just the arm. It has more RP effect than battle effect, depending upon the situation. For example, "Bruised" has to clarify a specific area, so if they for whatever reason said, "Imma punch yall in the arm!" then they'd be unfortunate. If an Ice technique were to try to freeze the arms together, then the inflicted arm could not be "Frozen." So in truth, it's not the whole body, but if they are in any way targeting this specific arm, then those status effects are null. At least, that was my thought.

Oh, you mean like if he were to hold a weapon in that arm? Yeah... then it would just apply that weapon's stuff, not the fist anymore. I'll edit.
