Announcing The Kirigakure Gennin Exam & Tourny

Throughout the entire village of Kirigakure no Sato and in many places beyond it -as far as the Capital, Avalon, in the East and the Shire of Teishu in the west-, there is an excited chamber of speaking; speaking about one thing.

A tournament, a good old fashioned Tournament! Not since over three long years ago have we seen a tournament, chuunin exams, or the like in our village; nothing which any true Kirigakuran knows is essential to bolster our spirits, help teach the young, and inspire the next generation on the path.

But as the mumurs have said, with rumored grand prizes including a collection of designer shuriken & kunai, a mentorship by one of the Kirigakure Council, a Daishō, or even being tutored by the newly celebrated hero of Kirigakure no Sato's liberation, and the battle of Nigiyakashufu, Umikoi Warrusu za Shichi heir-prince of the Umikoi Clan.

The tournament schedules are simple, and the whole event is being described as a 'tournament and placement exams', and seems to be a delight, especially with the fact that we in Kiri have not had a good tournament in over a decade.

It's a definite no miss opportunity, for everyone!

Including on the next page of the article is a copy of the poster that's being plastered throughout the village, on poles, in message boards, and for some intrepid individuals, on the back of their shirts with tape.

Announcing the 1st annual Kirigakure no Sato Placement Tournament!

As decided by the Kirigakure no Sato Council, -in attempt to re-stabilize the village before the choice to replace the Kuudaime Mizukage and Juudaime Mizukage (BDIH*)-, Kirigakure no Sato will be organizing, running, and hosting a tournament for Kirigakurans and Mizu no Kunians who are willing to pledge themselves to the village and who are equivalent of gennin rank. This tournament is for placing in teams, ranking within the village rosters to help with such placing, and in addition prestige for those who might enter. There will be both cash prizes for competitors who reach the semi-final rank and the winner of the tournament. Other prizes may be resulted.
