One of the most underestimated forces of nature is the power of the storm. Calm from a distance as it slowly hovers in the sky and then without warning it strikes, unleashing its wrath upon those beneath it. Within minutes it disappears, leaving a path of destruction and chaos in its aftermath and nobody to blame. The way of the storm is a similar path that we follow, and like a storm we strike in five ways. Blitzkrieg: quick and surprising; to deliver a fatal blow to targets before they have a chance to prepare. Offensive: powerful and determined; always on the attack and never giving up till our enemies are down. Lightning: like lightning we strike rapidly, almost stealth like. To appear and reappear without warning, leaving our opponents with an everlasting burn to remind them of their demise. Task: Accomplish any assignment, any mission without failure and efficiently with the up most precision. Finally, squad: the unity in which we all share, like a group of clouds, we strike as one and leave as one. There is no escape from the storm of Kumogakure, and for those who threaten its safety and the people of Kumogakure's safety, they will feel the wrath of its storm. ~Organization History~

The lifespan of the Kumogakure Empire had spawned numerous organizations, but none of them was successful and efficient as the NCIA Hunting-Nin squad. An elite squad of shinobi, whose task focused on hunting down and capturing missing-ninjas or bandits that threatened the peace of the Kumogakure Empire. Within years the decline of the empire came and it's kingdom collapsed leaving behind a torn and chaotic Kumogakure. The death of the former Raikage and the fall of the NCIA left Kumogakure in a shattered state and the reconstruction and restoration process had begun.

The Blitzkrieg Offensive Lightning Task Squad or B.O.L.T.S was founded by Tokeiza Jishin within the few months of his appointment to Raikage. Similar to the Ninja Crime Investigation Agency's Hunter-Nin organization, B.O.L.T.S was created for the protection of Kumogakure no Sato and hunt down, capture, and eliminate any missing-shinobi or shinobi that defected from Kumogakure after the defeat of Raikou and beyond. With the creation of B.O.L.T.S, Senuskai Sato, jounin of Kumogakure, was appointed as the Captain of B.O.L.T.S. The hunting-shinobi organization would soon pick up in speed as Kumogakure shinobi were recruited, trained, and placed into squads to aid in the rebuilding of Kumogakure.

Five divisions were created throughout the black ops organization, each specializing in a different aspect of defense, intelligence and reconnaissance, and other specializations. These divisions, despite their lack of organization at the time, aided in the reconstruction of Kumogakure and re-establishing a secure defense around the village. B.O.L.T.S aided in keeping the peace during these shattered war times and improved the lifestyles of many Kumogakure to a new era. Within three years of the organization's birth, the divisions were re-organized and officially established along with official B.O.L.T.S rankings. With the re-organization, files of most shinobi within the organization were classified to the general public and available only to the raikage and captain rank B.O.L.T.S member or above.

After five + years of existance the black ops organization is still ran by Senuskai Sato, with the Raikage monitoring its growth and development. B.O.L.T.S has become well known in Kumogakure and has become something to fear for shinobi who attempt to go missing or create cults to cause destruction and chaos. Although not of the same world wide reputation as ANBU of Konohagakure and D.E.A.T.H of Kirigakure, B.O.L.T.S is slowly gaining in reputation and respect as Kumogakure's Hunting-Nin and top organization.

 

 

 

 

 

~Organization Information~

Total Members: The exact total of members that reside within B.O.L.T.S is classified, but one can estimate approximately hundreds of shinobi are involved within the organization.

Entrance Fee: Entrance is given by invitation only. Shinobi strong enough to become part of B.O.L.T.S are invited and tested. Equipment fee is required.

Recruits

 

The lowest rank found within B.O.L.T.S and the starting point for all those invited to join B.O.L.T.S. Recruits are divided into small teams where they are shown the basics and for those with basic shinobi training are led through a series of test. Recruits are commonly Gennin rank shinobi and some, if skilled enough, are taken from the academy. Although recruits are a rank of B.O.L.T.S, shinobi with this rank are not true members of the black ops organization.

 

 

 

Field Patrol

 

The majority of true members within B.O.L.T.S can be found here. For those skilled enough to past the test, they are promoted to the rank of a field patrol. The largest member base can be found within this rank as many shinobi are promoted and remain in this rank. The basic objectives such as patrolling the village, repairs, cleaning, and basic missions are done by Field Patrols. They can be commonly identified by the lightning vest they wear or by a lack of a mask.

 

 

 

Mountain Patrol

 

Shinobi within this rank are the lightning and thunder of B.O.L.T.S. The middle rank of this organization, only a few hundred can be found with this rank. Skilled enough to be promoted they perform the majority of missions and task within B.O.L.T.S. Normally working in squads, they are sent to gather intel, assassination of missing-shinobi or weak targets, reconnaissance, and rescue. Normally composed of chunnin and some low-ranked jounin, they are a force to be feared. Mountain Patrol are commonly identified by a Blitzkrieg Vest.

 

 

 

 

Storm Officer

 

The right hand to the storm general, storm officers are Mountain Patrols with a different name. Proficient in their areas of expertise, Storm Officers have a tendency to be mostly jounin rank or some are high-ranked chunnin. They are the watch dogs of each squad, normally accompanying Mountain and Field Patrols on missions. They posses a vast knowledge about the organization and are normally sent out to train recruits. Though, their combat and survival skills are superior.

 

 

 

Storm General

 

An elite few that are selected by the Captain of B.O.L.T.S. The creme de la creme, the cherry on the whip cream, and the peak of the highest mountain, these selected elites are one of the strongest shinobi within Kumogakure No Sato. They are known for their skills in combat, assassination, and other areas of proficiency. The second highest authority in the B.O.L.T.S organization, they respond to the Captain and the Raikage only. Storm Generals oversee the divisions and the majority of the operations within B.O.L.T.S and serve as a mediator between the rest of the organization and the captain.

 

 

 

Captain

 

The highest position within B.O.L.T.S and the person with the most power. In charge of the entire organization, the Captain makes all the final decisions within the Organization. This is the person responsible for the way B.O.L.T.S is ran, organized, it's missions, and the way it performs. Thus, he or she, only answers to the Raikage.

 

 

 

Divisions

 

 

Kumo no Chinmoku 雲の沈黙

(Information, Observation, and Intelligence)

 

The "Cloud of Silence" division, this division is in charge of all information and information process within B.O.L.T.S. All files, records, and information about Kumogakure No Sato, B.O.L.T.S, and the Country of Lightning can be found here as well as other information gathered. Classified information is controlled by this division as well, but is only available to higher ranking officers. This division is also in charge of gathering information and performing reconnaissance missions. Work in this division is mostly solo work and are strictly identified by the teal color on their mask.

 

 

Hogosha no Arashi 保護者の嵐

(Defense, Security, and Protection)

 

"Guardian of Lightning" division, named for it's protection of Kumogakure No Sato. This is where defensive operations, border patrol, and overall safety of the village is their area of expertise. This division handles the hard work of defending Kumogakure with constant surveillance of the gates and the village. New or improved technology for enhancing the strength of Kumogakure's defense is created here. Building repairs and gate repairs are also handled by this division, though with a fee of course. Shinobi in the Hogosha no Arashi division are identified by the dark green color of their mask.

 

 

Denkou no Ten 電光ノ天

(Medical Assistance)

 

The "Lightning of Heaven" division is the medical part of the organization. Here is where new medical technology is invented and tested as well as the best of the best Medical Shinobi are trained. This division runs a few hospitals throughout Kumogakure No Sato, though not many civilians and regular shinobi are aware of that. Denkou No Ten shinobi can be identified by the purple color on their mask.

 

 

Hakai no Shinpou 破壊ノ信奉

(Search and Rescue, Search and Destroy)

 

The missions preformed by this division have given it the name, "Destruction of Faith." Although all shinobi in every division can perform assassinations, these shinobi are unique in their field. Armed with their own range of weaponry, they perform assassinations and search missions with efficiency and precision. They are the elite hunters, capable of tracking down almost any target, and vanquishing their foes without the world noticing. Perhaps the most feared division of B.O.L.T.S, this is what the organization is known for. Besides assassinations and tracking operations, these shinobi have excelled in rescuing their teammates in the most dangerous situations and bringing them back alive. Shinobi work in teams or solo in this division and are identified by the red color of their mask.

 

 

 

Raiden 雷電

(Judgement, Punishment, and Investigations)

 

"Lightning and Thunder," the judicial division within the organization. For those who commit crimes, go missing, or are prisoners of war, they are interrogated and assigned a punishment by this division. They work closely with the Kumo no Chinmoku division in finding out more information through interrogations and questioning. A few courts have been set up by this division, though they are mostly military courts, and deal with daily shinobi cases. Shinobi within this division are identified by the yellow color on their mask. One should note that this division is mostly solo work.

 

 

Arashi 嵐

(Council of the Elite)

 

The "Storm" division which is made up of the highest positions of B.O.L.T.S (mainly the Storm Generals and the Captain). This is where all the decision making, organization overviews, and missions are decided and acted upon. This division oversees all others and members can be identified by the golden orange color on their mask.
