~-- .:ROY KOBAYASHI:. --~

"First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win."

Full Name: Kobayashi, Roy

Gender: Male
Birthplace: Sarayashiki Province
Current Residence: Kumogakure Slum District, Kumogakure
Age: 17
D.O.B.: March 21st, 2098 AA
Shinobi Rank: Gennin

Sexual Preference: Straight

~ Appearance ~

-Height: 6’0
-Weight: 175
-Hair Style: Black. Hair is as thick as a horse’s mane, usually around a similar length. Often just long enough to reach for the eyes; Roy occasionally is forced to brush aside the silk from his eyes as to not obstruct his vision. The hair has multiple layers of texture and is very well handled. Due to combination of shampoo and conditioner many exclaim that Roy has some of the softest hair they have ever laid hands on. Occasionally a cap will be placed over the head to hide a bad hair day or for style.
-Eye Color: Light Blue, always analyzing everything. Almost piercing in nature at all times, no matter the situation.
-Clothing:

Standard Wear: As seen in the above picture Roy often wears a white button up shirt with sleeves rolled up beyond the elbow. Coupled with a red tied that is often loose, the shirt usually has one or two of the top buttons undone. Roy always leaves the shirt untucked, allowing it to hang loose over his black cut slacks. Although not often scene, a black belt is used to tie off the pants to keep them from falling. Roy tops all of this off with a pair of black converse like shoes. What many people do not realize is that this was originally Roy’s Private Uniform for classes. He would often wear it like this, avoiding the sports jacket and other requirements just to piss off the school officials. Due to amount of clothing he has for this particular outfit (considering he wore the same styled uniform 6 days a week) he continues to wear it. However if he knows ahead of time he usually switches to shinobi wear.

Shinobi Wear: (Refer to Statistic Pic for Exact Look) Shinobi wear for Roy is all about mobility, while having a little bit of style. Roy chooses to wear a wife beater underneath a light black hoodie with his sleeves rolled up. In order to properly grip his own weapons, Roy will wear finger less gloves. Top this off with a pair of tight black jeans, all finished with a pair of high top converse.

Military Wear: While almost never deviating from, his standard or shinobi wear, the military wear provides a great deal of protection for Roy. He wears a black shirt underneath a large piece of chest armor. Around the chest armor is shoulder armor, elbow armor, wrist armor, hand gauntlets, and shin armor. A jacket is worn over most of the armor to conceal the benefits of most of the armor. The ushering of this outfit would most likely be heralded by Roy being involved in a war like situation.

Civilian Wear: Civilian wear often changes frequently due to the fact that Roy has a large wardrobe selection on top of the ability to buy any outfits. Most revolve around button up shirts, slacks and scarves.

-Physical Description: Roy has various scars over his body through the many years of fights he has been through. Often Roy will be seen with a band aid or two somewhere across his body. Due to his diet combined with rigorous training his body is highly toned, and represent the shrink wrap effect wear skin naturally tightens around muscular areas. He is truly a heart throb, and his body shows it.

~ Personality ~

Roy can be a real pragmatic son of a bitch. Often he shows an aggressive nature towards the majority of the populace of the world. This aggression comes out in the form of fighting and often leads to an alpha male behavior. Roy is often the one to seek a fight, but when the ma n wants to relax you sure as hell don’t want to start the fight. Roy likes his relaxation time, and when disturbed he becomes he even more pissed than normal. Since Roy wants to constantly better himself or prove his worth he often displays a cocky attitude. Despite all of this on the deeper parts of the boy’s personality lies a soft hearted man that loves the people he cares for. Roy is extremely loyal due to the fact he only gives his loyalty to a handful of people. Roy puts all of his faith in love in his trusted companions and will go the ends of the earth to protect those people. Keiko shares the majority of his love, and is one of the select few to know about Roy’s love for cute animals.

.: Origin Story :.

To learn about Roy one must first go back into the past of the Kobayashi family. Now spanning four generations, the Kobayashi family began as a lowly merchant family. The original father of the family made his killing when he began to invest in companies that produced weapons for ninja armies. While originally he had a swell of wealth come in, he eventually spent all of his money causing the family to go bankrupt. By the second generation however the family has backed up the failings through hard work and trade opportunities to bring good money back into the family. By the time that Kobayashi Sena became of age with children he re-invested his money into war mongering equipment groups, knowing that Kumo would be going to war. It is with this investment that the family would come into wealth within ten years after the investment. This sudden wealth catapulted the Kobayashi family into providence during Roy’s life span. This tradition of merchants hitting it big has been a big part of the Kobayashi family, and the tradition has been passed on from generation to generation. However, Roy’s birth may just be the thing to change all of this.

Roy was born many years before the Great War, in a time when the Kobayashi family was on a slight rise. From birth it was deemed that Roy was the smarter of the two boys that existed at the time. The boy quickly became proficient in tactical thinking, easily getting shapes and moving his way on to talking. After mastering the first forms of speech it was quickly on to walking for the youngster. The parents were so proud of their boy that they believed he would be the next head of the family. Roy was heavily loved by his parents at the time, earning the eye of the family.

When Roy reached the age to fully hold a conversation he would be enrolled into a prepatory school in order to expand the childs mind. His father would hire a tutor in order to teach him the way of business and show him the ways of the world. Despite Roy’s soaking of information the boy always seemed to enjoy doing his own thing. He loved to go outside and play and was more of an imaginer than a thinker. Despite incredible grades the boy became reluctant to continue the rigid structure that his father had forced upon him. As he would age and enter elementary school Roy would begin to experience problems with the other kids. Despite his high grades the child had begun to gain a reputation of beating up the other boys in class. Roy insisted that he only did it because the others tried to bully him. The truth was somewhere in the middle.

Roy had gained the reputation of being the strongest in the class after a casual game of King on the Hill. Over time kids would try and contest Roy’s fighting abilities with their own, which in the form of fighting. Roy would continuously get in trouble for beating kids up, but in reality it was truly in his own self-defense. It was near the end of elementary that Roy would be kicked out of his own school for fighting. Naturally his father viewed this as a great disappointment and essentially abandoned him emotionally. The father would focus his attention to the new son Kenta, leaving Roy behind. Roy’s mother would not be as harsh, and loved her little hellion none the less. In fact she would go as far to get Roy re-enrolled in school which brings us to our next story arc.

Upon entering Middle School Roy would be enrolled at Sarayashiki Junior High. Due to being hours away from the nearest ninja village Roy had never even considered going to the ninja academy. Fortunately Roy would see plenty of combat for his Junior High years. A myth had grown around town about the raven haired demon that had gotten kicked out of school once already. Roy had gotten a reputation for his amazing battles, and the local kids wanted a piece of him. It began simple enough with Roy beating up all of the local gangs in his own high school. By the end of his freshmen year he was deemed by far most powerful, but not all of the gangs liked it. They would challenge him constantly, but none could ever beat him. The boy was a born fighter, and could even take on multiple people at one time.

Unfortunately, while Roy’s grades were still good, he would begin to slip in school. He began to fall into the bad crowds because he felt at home with them more so than at his own house. During this time Roy took up smoking and drinking, much to the dismay of his teachers and unbeknown to his parents. He created the Sarayashiki North Gang, and ran around town taking down the other local schools. During this time Roy began to combat even the older boys from the high school gangs, leading him to be known around the town by the younger crowds as the Sarayashiki Demon. As the demon the boy made sure that no one could ever beat him, and during his reign he gained the best combat training anyone could receive… actual experience.

By the time Roy made it to Sarayashiki High most of the teachers had gained a level of animosity to the young delinquent, but his grades argued his point. In between Junior High and High school the Kobayashi family had become extremely wealthy due to the Great War, and had become a political player in the world now. Roy’s home life had become more strained than ever, but the boy continued to live at the estates for his mother. After a year of being in High School, enough became enough and Roy would run away from home to go live in the city of Kumogakure. He knew that life was about taking risks, and the city would be the place for him. Upon moving his mother would give him access to several loan opportunities to ensure that he had at least some money to get on in life. Roy being extremely grateful would always write home to his mom and younger brother Kenta. The rest of the family was dead at this point.

At one unfortunate moment in time, a few months into his life at Kumogakure, Roy would run into some children his own age who identified him as the Sarayashiki Demon. These young men didn’t see why the Demon had gotten his name, and like any other child their age challenged the demon to a fight. Unfortunately for the young boys this demon was not to be trifled with. The boys turned out to be gennin of the village, and were beaten senseless by Roy for violating his moment of private reflection (times when Roy reads his Love Through the Haze of War). Roy would be arrested for beating a government official and sentenced to many years in prison. But fate would shine on Roy, as he would be offered to be taken off of his prison sentence if he served for the ninja corps. Roy accepted on the guidance of his counselor and was immediately enrolled in private sessions to get him an academy education. Due to the age of man Roy quickly passed graduation and was considered Gennin level himself. To this day Roy is still chained around like a dog in order to keep him out of trouble, waiting until he serves out the term he owes the government.

The rest of his life is to be determined through time. What exactly will happen to the man once known as the Sarayashiki Demon?

~Basic Skills~

Village Royalty
Description: You were born with connections, or at least one big one. While this requires you to do some things which others might out of simple duty, it also requires you to do things which others wouldn't. Dad or Mom is in the Village Government, or perhaps the head, and while this means you've got easier access to funds and loans, it also means you can be guilt tripped into doing missions for the village. Dishes at the local restaurant don't wash themselves, after all, and that yappie dog doesn't save itself from the tree the town hoodlum threw it into. [Even if the hoodlum was you, you know who you are.]
Effect: Begin play with an additional 2,000 Ryou ($). Once every three missions, you must complete a ranked mission [D for Gennin, C for Chuunin, B for Jounin, A for Sennin, Nothing for Kage, because you da boss!] for your village for no pay. The mission which is required to help the village is not counted towards any mission counts for the purposes of this skill. If a mission for the village in not completed sans gratis every three missions, withdraw 200$ from the user's Savings, until the entirety of the Ryou plus interest of 1,500 is paid. (3,500$) When the amount is paid off, either through savings or missions sans gratis, consider the user's gain from missions in EXP to be 3% higher than it otherwise would have been.
Clause: May not be taken with Freelancer; Or by Missing-nin. If taken by a shinobi-nin who later becomes Missing-nin before paying off the debt, any other bonuses this skill would grant are nulled, and the debt is added to the missing-nin's crimes.

The power to infuse the elements into one's chakra has for centuries been a staple of the shinobi militaries. Some great ninja take to elemental Ninjutsu as if it were as easy as creating their first bunshin, but some less fortunate ones are not so adept. For these poor souls, gaining even a basic knowledge of an element is a long and arduous struggle.

Also approved.

(also this probably doesn't matter much but there's a very small formatting error in the first post near the bottom. It'd bug the shit out of me if it was my sheet so 'heads up', etc.)
