PandaMattMatt Posted August 22, 2014 Share Posted August 22, 2014 (edited) DAY ONE OF THE ARRAKIS NINJA ARTS TOURNAMENT (This is a radio broadcast) The sun begins to set as a voice rings out through the stadium and the areas nearby. A quick musical tune plays followed by a man clearing his throat. Greetings! Welcome to the beautiful sunwashed shores of Arrakis! Where even in winter the waters are warm and the girls, and boys, are hot! The first round of the Arrakis Ninja Art Tournament has finished up and the results are in! Round One Group Winners are, Hyuuga Takeshi and Usehi Mairah from Group Orange! Boy, The Leaf Village reallys knows how to crank ‘em out! With an astounding nine entrants, three of them were all placed into Group Orange. Quality over quantity I always say! Glad to see Otogakure hasn’t withered away completely at least as Ueshi Mairah triumphed over one of the half dozen Uchihas! Senju Tokurama and Uchiha Tsukiyo from Group Green. Jeez, that group is really making headlines. Senju Tokurama not only won his match but killed his opponent in the process. It is a sad day for Sunagakure as his opponent was one of our own. May he greet the Gods in peace. However, after some not so intelligent choices, half the stadium was up in arms; including our very own Kitesailor Super Celebrity, and newly appointed Chuunin, Iona Keanu!! Folks, if I were you I wouldn’t miss a single second of Group Green in Round Two. From Group Blue, our winners are Uchiha Saki and Hanamajo Junsei! The first Suna shinobi to win a match of the day. Fun fact; Hanamajo Junsei is actually part of the medical staff at the Arrakis Hospital, that made his win so much sweeter as he is normally treating wounds instead of causing them! Not only that but Uchiha Saki also revealed a secret weapon; Chidori! A technique made famous by the infamous Uchiha Sasuke, should we be worried about her following a similar, criminal path? Group Red effectively shut down the Konohagakure entrants as Dosojin Kuroshin and Kaguya Kyuusei rose to victory. However, we saw a first! A Chuunin from Konhagakure successfully summoned a Deer to his aide. Who knew just anyone could be accepted into a Summoning Contract like that? Iona Keanu and Ai Sayuri are the Group Purple champions! Both from our very own Country. Although, who ever doubted the great Kitesailor would ever lose? In an amazing, action packed match, Ai Sayuri managed to beat her former captain in the closest match we saw the whole day! That just goes to show the innate ability of Sunagakure and it’s people! Last, but not least, Group Yellow saw Suizuma Kazu and Sensukai Sato become the champs of their battles. Suizuma Kazu even went against Legendary Shinobi AkaSabure Kouta, who in a show of great charity forfeited the match then gave a rousing speech! It appears that our very own Hachinin was merely toying with the competition and saw this round as a chance to step up to the podium! Let’s hope Suizuma Kazu deserves her win in later matches!
