Clan Progenitor:

 

• Aburame Isoroku; Records of the Aburame clan's origin are scarce and closely protected. Isoroku is listed in the Konohagakure no Sato databooks as being the 'head' of the Aburame at the time of its inception, though little is known publicly beyond that. Within the clan itself, members studying history know that Isoroku not only founded the clan, but was also the first to form an infestation contract with the Kikai- forever sealing the fate of the Aburame as carriers of the parasitic creatures.

• Aburame Naraku; The current head of the Aburame is easily described as an eccentric man. He seems to have a short attention span, and is known for a lack of the proper manners and descriptive speech of the traditional Aburame. He is known to have an open dislike for the current political order of Konohagakure, and has guided the clan further and further away from the village. Despite practicing a measure of isolationism, Naraku has ensured that the Aburame have remained a pillar crucial to the infrastructure of the village as a whole.

 

Clan Status:

 

• Well-known; Within Konohagakure, the Aburame are well known as their resident entomologists as well as superior medics and scouts. While they are known for their status as hive-carriers, the inner workings of the Aburame, and the true extent of their abilities, remain unknown to most within the village. Outside of Konoha, the Aburame are known almost exclusively by name- with their abilities being shocking to most other shinobi that encounter them.

 

Clan Age:

 

• Old; The Aburame have existed since well before the formation of the shinobi villages. They joined Konohagakure several years after its inception, having been loosely allied with the Uchiha clan.
