Rhapsody Posted November 13, 2014 Share Posted November 13, 2014 (edited) The Great Pandas of Tai Shan In the warm, almost temperate south regions of the Fire Country, there rests a mountain, its foot blanketed in a tropical forest and its peak obscured by mist. This craggy peak, known by the locals as ‘Tai Shan,’ is home to a noble family of pandas who have allied themselves with the Shinobi of the Leaf. Notable for their friendly and lackadaisical nature, these bears are both powerful allies and loyal friends to all who sign their contract. The Tai Shan Pandas, as a subspecies of the greater population, are all capable of both speech and chakra manipulation. As is normal with animals of this nature, they tend to grow much larger than their “wild” counterparts. Some members of the clan may wear items such as scarves or vests but, for the most part, they retain a life that is comparable to their brethren. Of the larger clan five animals have gone a step further and have signed their names to a greater purpose. They are warriors, and carry the mantle of Shinobi. These five, known for their strength and wisdom, allow themselves to be brought into battle and have no qualms about the great personal risk they take on in doing so. Lead by their regent, the King of Pandas known as Suiren, these amicable creatures are a welcome sight to any summoner.
