"Listen… In this world, whenever there is light, there are also shadows. As long as the concept of winners exist, there must also be losers. The selfish desire of wanting to maintain peace causes wars and hatred is born to protect love." -Uchiha Madara

Country Of Origin:

Village Of Residence:

18px-Konohagakure_Symbol.svg.png  Konohagakure No Sato | 木ノ葉隠れの里 | The Village Hidden In The Leaves

Clan Progenitor:

• Ōtsutsuki Indra; In the early days of the shinobi way, the eldest son of the Sage Of Six Paths set out in anger. Having been spurned by his father, Indra left with the gift of his eyes, and in time his progeny became known as the Uchiha clan.

Clan Head:

• Uchiha Tomoe; Following the imprisonment of Uchiha Nevan by Sunagakure no Sato, the Uchiha Council elected to have a proper leadership reinstated- with Uchiha Tomoe being selected as the clan's strongest candidate for effective leadership. The council persists in an advisory role, and Tomoe is rare to act without first consulting them when given the opportunity but otherwise looks to the future and acts with what she believes are the clan's best interests at all times.

Clan Status:

• Infamous; Though the Uchiha of recent years have made it their mission to restore the honor of their clan, the name Uchiha still carries with it a certain stigma. The Leaf Village has acclimated to the clan’s presence once again, and they are treated with as much dignity as any other, but outside the walls of Konohagakure, most consider Uchiha to be dangerous madmen.

Clan Age:

• Ancient; The Uchiha took their first steps toward existence before the founders of the shinobi villages had taken their first breath, and so are considered to be amongst the eldest of the ninja clans in existence today.

18px-Uchiha_Symbol.svg.png Clan History:

tumblr_static_tumblr_static_filename_640

Before the era of written shinobi history, there existed a clan of alien origin known as the Ōtsutsuki; from this clan, the legendary Sage of Six Paths was birthed: Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo. After liberating the world from a long-forgotten tyrant, Hagoromo went on to spread the gift of Chakra and Ninshū. Powerful as Hagoromo may have been, he nonetheless faced the eventuality of all humanity: his mortality. Long before his end, however, he fathered a pair of prodigal children: Ōtsutsuki Indra and Ōtsutsuki Asura. Each of these children bore a blood-inherited gift from their father, though their abilities were wildly different. Indra possessed the Sage's eyes, morphed by mixed blood into the Sharingan; Asura instead inherited the Sage's body with tremendous life force and chakra. The two brothers were polar opposites in nearly every way. Where Asura was loved by many and had no inherent talent, Indra preferred solitude and was regarded as a Prodigy that appeared only once in a generation. Upon Hagoromo's deathbed, he summoned his children to select a successor to the Way of Ninshū. He asked them through what means they would see the world united under Ninshū. Indra answered "Power", believing that strength was the means to achieve unity; opposite to him, Asura answered "Love". Hagoromo found Asura's ideal to be preferable and nominated him his successor. That singular action caused a jealous fury within Indra and lead him to swear vengeance upon his brother, driving him to combat his sibling until his death, believing that the position as heir was rightfully his own.

kRyh6mj.png Sharingan | 写輪眼 | Copy Wheel Eye

Originally thought to be a mutation of the Byakugan, the Sharingan, or Copy Wheel Eye is a dōjutsu blood inheritance that appears in some members of the Uchiha clan. It is still commonly believed to be descended from the Hyūga clan’s kekkei genkai, but certain texts hidden within the Naka Shrine in the Uchiha Estates are written with the details of the Sharingan’s evolution and its relationship to the most legendary of dojutsu, the Rinnegan. Along with the Byakugan and Rinnegan, the Sharingan makes up one third of what is collectively known as the Three Great Dōjutsu. An activated Sharingan alters the color of the wielder’s irises to a bright crimson which has been described as possessing its own luminescence, making the eyes seem to glow in the dark. Depending on the wielder’s mastery over their blood inheritance, an activated Sharingan possesses a number of slightly swirled pupils, or tomoe, which orbit the center pupil. A fully matured Sharingan has three tomoe per eye. The Second Hokage referred to the Sharingan as ‘the eye that reflects feelings’ because of the particularities in how the dojutsu manifests in the Uchiha clansmen. The Sharingan is assumed to manifest when an Uchiha’s body and psyche are under great duress, but in truth the kekkei genkai most often manifests when a person, place or thing that an Uchiha feels very strongly for is put into jeopardy. This is accomplished by a special form of chakra being released in the brain which specifically effects the optic nerve endings, mutating them on contact.

It has also been called the Heaven’s Eye due to the large range of abilities that it bestows on the wielder. The first of the Sharingan’s considerable powers is its ability to see the flow of chakra. The Sharingan is able to give color to the varying types of chakra, allowing the wielder to differentiate between them. This allows wielders of the dojutsu to detect the presence of Genjutsu by noting irregularities in the flows of chakra in people, and even in themselves. The eyes grant exceptional clarity in combating illusions, though not to the same extent as the Byakugan. The exceptional detail at which the Sharingan processes visual information extends beyond just viewing chakra. This also allows the wielder to pick up on subtle details, enabling them to read lip movements or mimic something like pencil movements. As the Sharingan evolves, gaining more tomoe, this ability extends to being able to track fast-moving objects before finally giving some amount of predictive capabilities to the wielder, allowing them to see the image of an attacker's next move from the slightest muscle tension in their body and counter-attack or dodge without any wasted movement. However, even though the wielder may be able to see an attack or know it is coming, their body may not always have time to react. The most well known ability of the Sharingan is that it grants its wielder the ability to copy almost any technique they witness. In order to reproduce a copied technique though, the wielder must possess the necessary skill to perform it. Lastly, the Sharingan is capable of inducing hypnosis in others that involves suggesting actions and thoughts. This is usually performed through eye contact.

The Sharingan requires the wielder’s chakra while activated, but being a naturally occurring aspect of their body, most Uchiha who have properly adapted to the dojutsu do not experience significant drains on their chakra levels. Anyone who receives an incomplete set of Sharingan eyes, through theft or transfusion though, must spend more extreme amounts of chakra, both because a single eye is incapable of deactivating, and a non-Uchiha body is not adapted to the drain on their bodies.

Restrictions: Ranks within the Sharingan do not stack, If the Sharingan is active all advanced regeneration is suspended until it is deactivated. Each rank overrides the previous except Mangekyō Sharingan, which does not override Mitsudomoe Sharingan.

Activation/Upkeep: The Sharingan may be activated in the Setup Phase as a standard action and may be deactivated during any phase as a Free Action. The upkeep and activation cost of the Sharingan are paid at the end of the user's Setup Phase. IF a character is unable to pay the upkeep cost of the Sharingan, it is deactivated automatically at the end of their Setup Phase during that turn.

Sharingan Keys: A character must meet any requirements of the rank of Sharingan whose key they are attempting to roll for. A GM, with staff consent, may allow a character with the Sharingan to make a Key roll without meeting its requirements.

Key to Hitotsudomoe Sharingan
Once per stat battle, or once per role play topic (All rolls made must reflect situations of great emotional stress, and roll may be made no more than 1 time per day [OOC & IC]. A GM may award additional rolls.), this character may roll a D100. If the roll turns up any number with a 4, 5, 6, or 7 in its digits, then they are awarded the Hitotsudomoe Sharingan. This skill cannot be used in the Practice Arena. Upon a successful roll during a stat battle, corresponding Sharingan ranks may be purchased during battle in the phase that the roll took place.

Key to Futatsudomoe Sharingan
Once per stat battle, or once per role play topic (All rolls made must reflect situations of great emotional stress, and roll may be made no more than 1 time per two days [OOC & IC]. Hitotsudomoe Sharingan
The initial state of all Sharingan, the HitotsudomoeSharingan is the first step in attaining all the powers that the Sharingan offers its possessor. With the addition of another pupil into the eyes of the wielder, they are capable of perceiving their environment with much greater clarity than before. That clarity, combined with their ability to view chakra allows the the possessor of the HitotsudomoeSharingan the abilities to predict the movements of their opponents, defend against the effects of genjutsu, and mimic the abilities of their enemies.
Requirements: Dormant Sharingan; Key to Hitotsudomoe Sharingan [success]

Sharingan Insight – Rank One
Effect: While the Sharingan is active, a character with this skill’s Accuracy, Evasion, and Concentration statistics are increased by x, with ‘x’ being equivalent to the character’s level. The value of ‘x’ may never be less than 20. All statistical bonuses provided by this skill may not exceed 1.5x the base value of the individual statistics. Bonuses to Accuracy and Evasion are nullified when the character targets an opponent whose Speed statistic is 1.5x greater than the character’s.
Description: The first ability that is attributed to the Sharingan is the heightened state of awareness that the wielder enters when activating the dōjutsu. The eyes are able to predict the movements of enemies, or photographically catalog the details of the environment with great superiority. The enhanced accuracy and evasion that is the root of many of the Sharingan's abilities becomes stronger as each new tomoe develops. In its early stages, the Sharingan's influence increases the wielder's sensory awareness greatly, but opponents with great speed are capable of besting the dōjutsu. At more mature stages, the Sharingan is capable of predicting the movements of even the fastest foe.
Cost: -1

Sharingan Hypnotism – Rank One
Effect: While the Sharingan is active, a character with this skill’s non-Forbidden Genjutsu techniques with the ‘Dōjutsu; Sharingan’ descriptor gain the following effect;

“The target of this technique must roll a 20-sided dice. On an outcome of 1 or 2 the target may take no other actions in response to this technique. If the target of this technique is afflicted with the status effects ‘Impaired Eyesight’ or ‘Blind’ they may increase the outcome of this roll by +2 or +5 (respectively).”

Additionally, characters with this skill may purchase the technique ‘Genjutsu: Sharingan’ and while the Sharingan is active, ‘Genjutsu: Sharingan’ is considered seal-less.

Description: Though the many other facets of the Sharingan are greatly desired across the world, none can argue that perhaps the most potent aspect of the Sharingan is its ability to entrap a target within a Genjutsu at just a glance. Early stages of this ability manifest in incomplete ways, no more or less potent than comparable genjutsu- but later evolutions tap into the eye's ability to completely enrapture a target within the Sharingan wielder's mental whims.
Cost: -1

Sharingan Copy – Rank One
Effect: If the Sharingan is active during the Response Phase, a character with this skill may pay .8x Chakra, where 'x' is the cost of any technique used after this character's previous turn. The character must roll a 10-sided dice, and on an outcome of 1 - 5, the technique may be added to the character’s list of known techniques. Techniques added in this way have no Jutsu Point cost. Techniques of a certain Element, Archetype, or Style may be used without the necessary skill, but the Sharingan must be active to utilize techniques which require skills that the character does not possess. Techniques with bloodline or clan skill requirements that the character does not possess, or techniques that the character could not purchase for their standard Jutsu Point cost may not be copied. This skill may be activated 1 time per battle, or 1 time per role-play topic. Activating this skill is a free action.
Description: The power to record and store the details of any technique witnessed is a feat that has long made the Sharingan one of the most coveted kekkei genkai in existence. By simply having their bloodline active, wielders of the Sharingan are able to see the most minute details in the muscles of their foes, identify handseals in mid-combat, and even see the exact patterns of the enemy's chakra. These abilities make Sharingan-wielders impressive copy cats. In it's formative stages, the act of copying a technique is more strenuous on the body, and can produce hit or miss replications, but as the bloodline matures and the wielder becomes more practiced, the ability becomes almost fool-proof.
Cost: -1

Sharingan Reflection – Rank One
Effect: When a character with this skill successfully utilizes Sharingan Copy against a technique, the unresolved technique has a 10% chance of being negated. This is a triggered effect and may only activate 1 time per battle. The character consumes their Set-Up and Main Phases on a turn in which this skill activates. The activation of this skill is a free action.
Description: So fast are the reaction times of those who wield the Sharingan, that the brain is capable of quickly responding to incoming threats, and exactly duplicating the attacks of their enemies. In doing so, the wielder is able to match the exact force of the threat and nullify it. At this early stage of the Sharingan, the art of reflection is difficult, and often only performed by luck and instinct.
Cost: -1

Futatsudomoe Sharingan
Only with the appearance of the second extra pupil, does the Sharingan eye begin to truly develop its considerable powers. At this stage it is must more difficult for the exemplary vision of the eyes to be bested with speed. The Sharingan's capabilities with chakra and illusions are enhanced to a higher level. At this stage, the eye begins to manifest its own forms of hypnotism. The ability to copy techniques viewed in passing is made easier through the growth, causing less strain on the body of the wielder. Most astoundingly though, the wielder develops the ability to reflect enemy jutsu back to their source.
Requirements: Level 20, Dormant Sharinan; Key to Futatsudomoe Sharingan [success], Replaces Hitotsudomoe Sharingan

Sharingan Insight – Rank Two
Effect: While the Sharingan is active, a character with this skill’s Accuracy, Evasion, and Concentration statistics are increased by 2x, with ‘x’ being equivalent to the character’s level. The value of ‘x’ may never be less than 30. All statistical bonuses provided by this skill may not exceed 1.5x the base value of the individual statistics. Bonuses to Accuracy and Evasion are nullified when the character targets an opponent whose Speed statistic is 2x greater than the character’s.
Description: The first ability that is attributed to the Sharingan is the heightened state of awareness that the wielder enters when activating the dōjutsu. Sharingan Hypnotism – Rank Two

“The target of this technique must roll a 20-sided dice. On an outcome of 1, 2, or 3 the target may take no other actions in response to this technique.

Sharingan Copy – Rank Two

Effect: If the Sharingan is active during the Response Phase, a character with this skill may pay .7x Chakra, where 'x' is the cost of any technique used after this character's previous turn. The character must roll a 10-sided dice, and on an outcome of 1 - 6, the technique may be added to the wielder’s list of known techniques. This skill may be activated 2 times per battle, or 1 time per role-play topic. Activating this skill is a free action.

With the appearance of a second tomoe, the ability to reflect attacks becomes more reliable, but still depends greatly on raw instinct.
Cost: -1

Mitsudomoe Sharingan
For many years it was thought that this rank of the Sharingan was the pinnacle of what could be achieved. Despite this being proven untrue, the Mitsudomoe Sharingan is still considered a fully mature specimen of the kekkei genkai. As such, it has fully developed strength and range of its abilities. The chakra drain on the wielder is significant, but many who train themselves diligently are capable of keeping this rank of the Sharingan activated almost continuously.
Requirements: Level 40, Dormant Sharingan; Key to the Mitsudomoe Sharingan [success], Replaces Futatsudomoe Sharingan

Sharingan Insight – Rank Three
Effect: While the Sharingan is active, a character with this skill's Accuracy, Evasion, and Concentration statistics are increased by 3x, with ‘x’ being equivalent to the character’s level. The value of ‘x’ may never be less than 40. All statistical bonuses provided by this skill may not exceed 1.5x the base value of the individual statistics. Bonuses to Accuracy and Evasion are nullified when the character targets an opponent whose Speed statistic is 2.5x greater than the character’s.

DuPnunW.png Mangekyō Sharingan | 万華鏡写輪眼 | Kaleidoscope Mirror Wheel Eye

The Mangekyō Sharingan is the very peak of the Sharingan's power. So rare is the ability to manifest this stage of the Sharingan, that some once said that it was a myth. It was then believed that to induce the Mangekyō Sharingan, the wielder would have to witness someone very dear to their heart die. The powers presented at this stage, are much greater than even the Toripuruha. The standard abilities of the Sharingan are all available to the Mangekyō Sharingan, but at a state that is beyond comparison to the other stages of the bloodline's evolution. The true power of the Mangekyō Sharingan lies in the abilities unique to it. Each wielder's eyes are different, holding different amazing powers. The use of the Mangekyō Sharingan is a double edged sword though. Extended use will eventually blind the wielder.
Requirements: Level 70, Dormant Sharingan; Key to the Mangekyō Sharingan [success], Does not replace Mitsudomoe Sharingan.

Activation: The Mangekyō Sharingan may be activated during the Setup Phase as a standard action. If the Mitsudomoe Sharingan is active, the Mangekyō Sharingan may be activated in any phase as a free action, though its activation cost must be paid during that phase. The Mangekyō Sharingan may be deactivated as a free action, either on its own(returning the user to the MItsudomoe Sharingan) or alongside a standard Sharingan deactivation. While the Mangekyō Sharingan is active, its Upkeep cost replaces MItsudomoe Sharingan's.

Sharingan Insight – Rank Four
Effect: While the Sharingan is active, a character with this skill’s Accuracy, Evasion, and Concentration statistics are increased by 4x, with ‘x’ being equivalent to the characters’s level. The value of ‘x’ may never be less than 50. All statistical bonuses provided by this skill may not exceed 1.5x the base value of the individual statistics. Bonuses to Accuracy and Evasion are nullified when the character targets an opponent whose Speed statistic is 2.5x greater than the character’s.
Cost: -2

Sharingan Hypnotism – Rank Four
Effect: While the Sharingan is active, a character with this skill’s non-Forbidden Genjutsu techniques with the ‘Dōjutsu; Sharingan’ descriptor gain the following effect;

“The target of this technique must roll a 20-sided dice. On an outcome of 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 the target may take no other actions in response to this technique.

Cost: -1

Sharingan Copy – Rank Four
Effect: If the Sharingan is active during the Response Phase, a character with this skill may pay .5x Chakra, where 'x' is the cost of any technique used after this character's previous turn. The character with skill must roll a 10-sided dice, and on an outcome of 1 - 8, the technique may be added to the character’s list of known techniques. This skill may be activated 4 times per battle, or 1 time per role-play topic.
Cost: -2

Sharingan Reflection – Rank Four
Effect: When a character with this skill successfully utilizes Sharingan Copy against a technique, the unresolved technique has a 40% Chance of being negated. This is a triggered effect and may only activate 2 times per battle. Activation of this skill is a free action.
Description: So fast are the reaction times of those who wield the Sharingan, that the brain is capable of quickly responding to incoming threats, and exactly duplicating the attacks of their enemies. In doing so, the wielder is able to match the exact force of the threat and nullify it. At the pinnacle of the Sharingan's ability, the wielder reacts so swiftly to enemy threats that reflecting them almost becomes a second nature.
Cost: -1

Sharingan Binding – [Technique]
Effect: Characters with this skill may purchase 1 technique with the 'Hijutsu; Mangekyō Sharingan' Descriptor. The chosen technique is considered to have the 'Seal-less' descriptor. This technique may be utilized a total of 10 times. (This number is inclusive of both statistical battles, and role play topics.) Upon reaching 10 uses, the technique chosen by this skill may not be utilized, and all branches of the Sharingan Bloodline have their effects reduced by 50%. If this would reduce the effects of the Sharingan to 0% then the Sharingan may not be activated, and the character with this skill is considered to be permanently under the status effect 'Blind'. The wielder may only possess as many Sharingan Binding skills as they do functioning Sharingan.
Description: Upon reaching the Mangekyō Sharingan, the wielder’s eyes have fully matured, and with that maturation come the benefits of the secret techniques embedded within each Sharingan, and known only to the wielder. Each Sharingan eye has its own technique hidden within it, and while the Mangekyō stage is active that technique may be utilized almost as effortlessly as breathing, but these techniques come at a high price. Each usage causes pain to the wielder, and with frequency of use, the eye will begin to bleed, and eventually go dim until the eye is left blinded and useless.
Cost: -0

KdgYKJj.png Eien No Mangekyō Sharingan | 永遠の万華鏡写輪眼 | Eternal Kaleidoscope Mirror Wheel Eye

The Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan is considered to be a very rare, and unnatural stage that is built off of the mature form of the Sharingan. It was quickly discovered amongst the Uchiha clan that heavy use of the Mangekyō Sharingan would permanently and irrevocably destroy the vision in their eyes. It was through chance that the clan learned of one rare, and chancy way to restore a wielders sight and even bolster their power. By transplanting another pair of Mangekyō Sharingan, a clansmen's eyes would once again see clearly, but only suitable donors would work correctly, most often blood relatives. Several times in the history of the Uchiha clan a member has slaughtered his family in an attempt to regain his sight. While this is considered the final form the Sharingan can achieve, it often comes with a stigma that leads others to avoid the wielder.
Requirements: Level 90, Sharingan Transfusion [success], Replaces Mangekyō Sharingan

Sharingan Transcendence – Rank One
Effect: Characters with this skill do not suffer the negative effects contained within the skill ‘Sharingan Binding’. The activation and upkeep costs of the Mangekyo Sharingan is reduced by 2.5% and all Sharingan skills that have a usage limit may be used 1 additional time per statistical battle, or role-play topic.
Description: The Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan breathes new life into the power of the Sharingan, and increases its usefulness in battle by reducing the strain on the eyes. The costs that are imposed on the body are lessened in this new state, and so the Sharingan is able to function in a more economical and efficient way, granting the wielder a greater longevity on the battlefield.

18px-Uchiha_Symbol.svg.png Clan Skills:

The Art of Breathing Dragon’s Flames

Effect: Increase 'Burning: x' applied through the 'Subtle Elements; Fire' skill by 15y, wherein 'y' is equal to a number corresponding with this character's ninja rank(Genin: 1, Chūnin: 2, Jōnin: 3, Sennin: 4). Whenever a technique would trigger 'Subtle Elements; Fire' more than once, this skill's effects are divided over the number of applications.

Description: Fire is the hallmark of Uchiha culture. Whether because of its potency in battle or for the rage that is said to burn in the hearts of all Uchiha, fire has so deeply ingrained itself in the culture of the clan that it is present in their ceremonies and the ability to adeptly utilize it is a right of passage for the clan. Naturally, with such a vast collection of experience with the element, the clan would retain an unparalleled proficiency with flames.

Requirements: Uchiha Clan Membership, May not be Taught

Cost: -2

The Art Of Mirror’s Reflection

Effects: This character may activate their "Sharingan Reflection" skill one (1) additional time per battle. Additionally, increase this character's "Sharingan Reflection" skill's success percentage by 5% per two (2) ranks of "Sharingan Reflection".

Description: The Sharingan Eye is one of the most enigmatic and powerful bloodlines known to the ninja world. It is capable of many different but equally powerful effects, but the power to steal the skills and abilities of another with a simple glance is one that only a handful can lay a claim to. For those Uchiha who have mastered their Sharingan though, mimicking their foes comes as naturally as breathing.

Requirements: Uchiha Clan Membership, Sharingan Reflection - Rank 2

Cost: -2

Susanoo; Sharingan Manifestation
Effect: If at any time, the summoner of this summon does not have the Mangekyo Sharingan active, this summon is removed from the battlefield until the technique ‘Susanoo’ is used again.
Description: Susanoo has an infamous reputation as the strongest of the powers that are granted to a person who has fully mastered the Mangekyo Sharingan. While exceedingly powerful, very few Uchiha have ever shown the ability to manifest it without the Sharingan being active. Sharingan wielders who have not obtained the god-like levels of some of their ancestors have no hope of manifesting a Susanoo without their kekkei genkai active.
Requirements: May only be taken by a Susanoo summon. Susanoo must take this skill.
Cost: -0

Susanoo; Enveloping Form
Effect: While a summon with this skill is on the battlefield, the character who summoned it may not take offensive action in their Main Phases unless they are performing a Coalescence technique with this summon.
Description: While a Susanoo is extremely powerful, it is impossible for those who utilize it to act independently of the construct without first dissipating it. Though this hindrance is none too crippling as the Susanoo itself is capable of dealing immense damage, and sometimes those within a Susanoo even act in tandem with the extra appendages they create to deal combination attacks.
Requirements: May only be taken by a Susanoo summon. Susanoo must take this skill.
Cost: -0

Susanoo; Chakra Avatar
Effect: While a summon with this skill is on the battlefield, the character who summoned it loses 5% of their total Health per turn. The summoner of this summon may not be the target of basic attacks, weapon attacks, Ninjutsu techniques, or Taijutsu techniques while this character is on the battlefield. The character that summoned this summon receives unmodified damage equal to half of all damage dealt to this summon, after modifiers.
Description: Susanoo is very often a Sharingan wielders strongest defense, for when enveloped in the great chakra avatar, the wielder is shielded from all but the strongest of attacks. So strong are the defensive properties of a Susanoo, that it is believed that only ninja who equal a Kage in strength are able to break through it.
Requirements: May only be taken by a Susanoo summon. Susanoo must take this skill.
Cost: -2

Susanoo; Incognizance

Effect: If this summon would become the target of an offensive effect that would utilize their Concentration statistic, they treat their summoner's Concentration as if it were their own. Whenever this summon or its Summoner are affected by a Genjutsu technique or other attack which dodge-roll was modified by the Concentration statistic, they are both affected instead.

Description: Constructed purely of it's owners raw chakra, a Susanoo is commonly considered impervious to the effects of Genjutsu or other such mind-altering techniques. Though that assumption is not far from the truth, it is ultimately incorrect. The Susanoo acts as an extension of its owner's mind and is intrinsically linked to them.

Requirements: May only be taken by a Susanoo summon. Susanoo must take this skill.

Cost: -1

Enton | 炎遁 | Blaze Release

Effect: This character may purchase and use techniques with the 'Blaze' descriptor. 'Blaze' techniques are treated as if they were of the 'Fire' element for the purposes of modifying skills and effects, though negative modifiers specifically pertaining to the 'Fire' element are only half as effective when applied to 'Blaze' elemental techniques. Whenever a 'Blaze' element technique deals damage to a target currently suffering from 'Burning: x' caused by a 'Blaze' elemental technique, that target has a 50% chance to increase the duration of that instance of 'Burning: x' by one (1) turn; this is rolled as a d100 by the user in the Main Phase that the 'Blaze' technique is being performed. This may target only a single instance of 'Burning: x' per Main Phase, declared at the time of use; techniques with multiple strikes do not illicit multiple 'Burning: x' extension rolls. Attempts to remove 'Burning: x' caused by a 'Blaze' elemental technique suffer a 50% additional chance to fail if they are not 'Sealing' techniques.

Description: Amaterasu is widely regarded as the pinnacle of the Fire Release, being unextinguishable and considered to have flames with heat comparable to that of the sun. However, the true potential of Amaterasu’s divine conflagration is not found simply within the black flames, but rather, within the ability to expel, mold, and manipulate these heavenly flames at a moment’s notice. Like many facets of the Uchiha clan’s splendor, this manifestation of control can only be achieved by a pair of Mangekyou Sharingan working in unison. Where one eye would generate the black flames, the opposite eye then would give it cohesive shape. This unique ability to apply shape to the flames of Amaterasu has given birth to Enton, or Blaze Release, and most commonly is seen through the ever-versatile Enton; Kagutsuchi.

Requirements: Sharingan Binding – Enton; Kagutsuchi

Genin Jutsu:

Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu | 火遁・豪火球の術 | Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique

Type: Ninjutsu [ Fire | Hijutsu; Uchiha ]

Rank: Genin

Cost: 25 + 8x Chakra

Damage: 20

Effect: The value of X is a number between 0 and 4, chosen when this technique is utilized. This technique afflicts one (1) turn of 'Burning: 10x'. When calculating the effects of Subtle Elements: Fire, the user may add the total ‘Burning’ damage caused by this technique’s effect to their total damage.

Description: Originally crafted as a signature technique of the Uchiha clan of Konohagakure, Gōkakyū no Jutsu has found its way into the hands of both common Konoha shinobi and further into the world at large. Though most powerful when handled by a member of its origin clan, Gōkakyū no Jutsu is a formidable and relatively easy to use technique wherein the user kneads chakra inside their body, converts it to fire, then expels flames rapidly from their mouth. Though the technique gains its namesake from a large orb shape, it is easily used as a continuous flame-thrower whose volume can be controlled through raw chakra output. The impact of this technique is not the most potent, but it easily burns away its targets and often leaves a scorched crater in its wake.

JP: 3

Katon: Hōsenka no Jutsu | 火遁・鳳仙火の術 | Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique

Type: Ninjutsu [ Fire | Hijutsu; Uchiha | Multi-Hit ]

Rank: Genin

Cost: 20x Chakra

Damage: 20 per strike

Effect: This technique possesses a number of strikes equal to x, with a maximum of three (3). Each strike of this technique has -10% chance to hit. Twice per battle, if three (3) strikes were made with this technique and at least two (2) fail to hit their target, the user may treat a non-Genjutsu, Genin ranked technique used in their following turn against the same target as if it were a Dynamic Trap with its conditions fulfilled.

Description: Another technique gifted to Konoha by its Uchiha forebears, Katon: Hōsenka no Jutsu is as much of a flash strategy as it is a standalone technique. The user will knead Fire-natured chakra within their torso, then spit out a small flurry of fireballs that are rather inaccurate. The intensity of the flame combined with its very predictable attack pattern tends to trap their targets into committing a dodge whose trajectory is pre-determined by the user. The user usually follows this with a secondary attack to take advantage of the target's brief exposure.

Cost: 70 + 5x Chakra

Damage: 80

Effect: The value of X is a number between 0 and 24, chosen when this technique is utilized. This technique afflicts one (1) turn of 'Burning: 10x'. Rank: Jōnin

Cost: 40x Chakra

Damage: 60 per strike

Effect: This technique possesses a number of strikes equal to x, with a maximum of five (5). Each strike of this technique has -10% chance to hit. Katon; Gōka Messhitsu | 火遁・豪火滅失 | Fire Release; Great Fire Destruction
Type: Ninjutsu [ Fire | Hijutsu; Uchiha ]
Rank: Jōnin
Cost: 355 Chakra
Damage: 300
Effect: Target is afflicted with 2 turns of Scorched, 1 turn of Fazed, 2 turns of Clobbered.
Description: Derived from Katon; Gōkakyū No Jutsu, the Great Fire Destruction technique was created by the Uchiha clan with only one goal in mind, combating Senju Hashirama and the Wood Release kekkei genkai. By performing this volatile technique in areas choked with combustible materials, the user greatly increases his chance of dealing massive amounts of damage to his target. Beyond that, Gōka Messhitsu is excellent at clearing large tracts of land, and has been frequently used in more recent times by the clan for aiding in the cultivation of viable farmland. Like its parent technique though, Great Fire Destruction runs a significant risk of causing severe burns the user does not know what they are doing.

Uchihagaeshi | うちは返し | Uchiha Return

Type: Ninjutsu [ Wind | Hijutsu; Uchiha| Bukijutsu; Gunbai | Response ]

Rank: Jonin

Cost: 40 + x Chakra

Effect: When determining the cost of this technique ‘x’ is equivalent to the cost of an unresolved physical attack targeting the user. The damage and effects of that technique are negated. If the user’s equipped weapon possesses the attributes ‘Block’, ‘Parry’, or ‘Ward’ the user of this technique may choose to expend up to 2 usages of the attribute which corresponds with the negated attack to deal .15x the total damage of the negated attack per usage. This effect is modified normally and dodged as if it were a regular attack, and may not break ninjutsu damage caps. This technique has a 5% chance to fail. The user of this technique may use no techniques in their Response Phase for 3 turns following the use of this technique. This technique may be used 2 times per battle. The user of this technique may take no action in their main phase.

Description: Historically, the Uchiha clan has carried large fans into battle as standards for their clan and also as weapons. Like all weapons, the Uchiha demonstrated above-average levels of skill with them, and chief among their most powerful tessenjutsu was the Uchiha Return. By channeling wind-natured chakra into their gunbai, the user is able to absorb potent attacks and unexpectedly reflect them back toward their opponent.

JP: 8

Katon: Gōryūka no Jutsu | 火遁・豪龍火の術 | Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire Technique

Type: Ninjutsu [ Fire | Multi-hit | Climate | Hijutsu; Uchiha ]

Rank: Jōnin

Cost: 40 + 90x Chakra

Damage: 75x per strike

Effect: For the purposes of cost and damage calculation, x is equal to a number of strikes declared when using this technique; x may not exceed 3. Each strike of this technique adds one (1) cumulative turn of the climate “Rain” to the battlefield.

Description: After compressing a considerable amount of chakra within their body, the user will expel a blast of superheated Fire in the shape of a fearsome dragon head at their opponent. The roaring heat present in this technique’s flames is so great that it typically causes a large updraft of hot air into the atmosphere, causing rapid condensation and subsequent precipitation. Katon: Gōryūka no Jutsu is most frequently used as a set-up to a powerful Water or Lightning ninjutsu, using the nature of the newly formed thunder clouds as a catalyst. It is said that a master of this technique can fire several dragons in succession, burning anyone caught in its wake to ash.

JP: 7

Katon: Ryūen Hōka no Jutsu | 火遁・龍炎放歌の術 | Fire Release: Dragon Flame Release Song Technique

Type: Ninjutsu [ Fire | Multi-hit | Hijutsu; Uchiha ]

Rank: Jōnin

Cost: 90x Chakra

Damage: 75x per strike

Effect: For the purposes of cost and damage calculation, x is equal to a number of strikes declared when using this technique; x may not exceed 4. Each strike of this technique afflicts one (1) cumulative turn of “Clobbered”. This technique may not cause “Clobbered” to exceed its turn limitations.

Description: Debated as being either the mother technique to or a derivative of Gōryūka no Jutsu, Katon: Ryūen Hōka no Jutsu stands on its own among its Fire Release brethren as a technique that exchanges heat for explosive power. The user molds a large amount of chakra within themselves and then releases it as several compressed dragon’s head shaped fireballs. As the dragon heads sore toward their target, they emit a flittering roar that gives the impression of a great beast’s song, giving substance to the technique’s name. The force that erupts from these fireballs as they collide with their target is severe enough to leave most opponents incapable of retaliating efficiently for a short period thereafter.

Susano'o | 須佐能乎 | He With The Ability To Help By All Means
Type: Ninjutsu [ Void | Hijutsu; Uchiha | Dōjutsu; Mangekyō Sharingan | Kinjutsu; Powerful ]
Rank: Jōnin
Cost: x Chakra
Effect: When this technique is used, the user must make a Summoning Roll. When determining the cost of this technique ‘x’ is equivalent to the cost determined by the user’s Summoning Roll. The outcome of this roll indicates the level of the summon ‘Susanoo’ that is summoned to the field. The user of this technique is afflicted with the status effect ‘Bleeding; 1’ for 3 turns. The damage dealt by this effect stacks with other techniques that possess the ‘Dōjutsu; Mangekyō Sharingan’ descriptor and all techniques that possess the ‘Dōjutsu; Mangekyō Sharingan' descriptor have a -10y% chance to hit (or +10y% chance to fail if the technique is not offensive), where ‘y’ is equal to the damage dealt by the status effect ‘Bleeding’ per turn (Only 'Bleeding' afflicted by the use of techniques with the Dōjutsu; Mangekyō Sharingan descriptor counts in this way.).
Description: Susanoo is a technique only granted to those who have awoken the powers in both Mangekyō Sharingan. Like all other techniques related to the Mangekyō Sharingan, Susanoo is notorious for damaging the eyesight of the user. When performing this technique, the user creates a massive shroud of chakra that has been called their guardian deity. This aura of chakra takes the shape of a massive warrior, and serves as both an absolute defense, and a powerful offense in service of the user. Because of the unique nature of each set of Sharingan, each Susanoo is also a unique entity and they come in a color unique to each user’s chakra. The amount of chakra consumed in the usage of Susanoo is said to be so great that it causes every cell in the user’s body to ache.
JP: 5

Amaterasu | 天照 | Heavenly Illumination
Type: Ninjutsu [ Blaze | Hijutsu; Uchiha | Dōjutsu; Mangekyō Sharingan | Kinjutsu; Powerful ]
Rank: Jōnin
Cost: 200 Chakra
Damage: 200
Effect: This technique may only be utilized while the Mangekyō Sharingan is active. Response Phase techniques used to counter this technique cost 2x their base cost if they are not ‘Seal-Less’. The target of this technique is afflicted with 3 turns of the status effect ‘Burning; 100’. The user may pay an additional 40x Chakra when performing this technique to increase the duration of the status effect 'Burning; 100' by 'x' turns. The value of x may never be more than 5. If this technique is purchased in conjunction with another technique with the 'Dōjutsu; Mangekyō Sharingan' descriptor, then that technique must be either 'Tsukiyomi' or 'Enton; Kagutsuchi'.
Description: One of the infamous dōjutsu capable of being performed by the Mangekyō Sharingan, Amaterasu, is considered to be the most powerful fire-natured ninjutsu known to shinobi. Because it is the ninjutsu counterpart and antipode to Tsukuyomi, this technique is said to represent the material world, and light. Commonly dwelling within the left eye of the Mangekyō Sharingan wiedler, this technique produces extremely powerful black fire that is widely considered inescapable. Because the flames originate where the user focuses their eye, dodging this technique is indeed very difficult for those caught unaware. The black flames produced by this technique are believed to burn for seven days, and seven nights if left unchecked. Like all techniques that are unique to the Mangekyō Sharingan, Amaterasu damages the eyes of the user with each subsequent use and eventually leads to blindness.

Type: Ninjutsu [ Blaze| Hijutsu; Uchiha | Dōjutsu; Mangekyō Sharingan | Kinjutsu; Powerful | Dynamic Trap ]
Rank: Jōnin
Cost: 250 Chakra
Damage: 500
Condition: At least 1 character must currently be afflicted with the status effect 'Burning' applied by the user's last usage of the technique 'Amaterasu'.
Effect: This technique may only be utilized while the Mangekyō Sharingan is active. The last instance of 'Burning; 100' applied by the technique 'Amaterasu' by the user of this technique is removed, regardless of remaining turns of the status effect. This technique may be utilized during the Main Phase in 1 of the following ways.

Offensive: The target of this technique is inflicted with 'x' turns of the status effect 'Burning; 100' where 'x' was the number of turns of 'Burning; 100' that remained for the user's last usage of Amaterasu.

Defensive: Instead of dealing damage, this technique creates a Barrier with 500 Health. Any time this barrier would be dealt damage from a Taijutsu, Basic Attack, or Weapon Attack (melee), that attacker is afflicted with 'x' turns of the status effect 'Burning; 100' where 'x' was the number of turns of 'Burning; 100' that remained from the user's last usage of Amaterasu.

If this technique is purchased in conjunction with another technique with the 'Dōjutsu; Mangekyō Sharingan' descriptor, then that technique must be 'Amaterasu'.
Description: A very rare form of dōjutsu, Enton; Kagutsuchi sometimes forms in the right eye of some Uchiha in place of Tsukiyomi, giving those Sharingan-users an unparalleled level of control over the black flames of Amaterasu. Through their right eye, the user can alter the shape of Amaterasu, guiding the power of their fire. The strength of this technique is limited only by the user's creativity and allows them to make weapons of any shape out of black fire, or even wrap themselves in a black shield that is capable setting their opponent ablaze. Like all techniques that are unique to the Mangekyō Sharingan, Enton; Kagutsuchi damages the eyes of the user with each subsequent use and eventually leads to blindness.

Sennin Jutsu:

Katon; Gōka Mekkyaku | 火遁・豪火滅却 | Fire Release; Great Fire Annihilation
Type: Ninjutsu [ Fire | Hijutsu; Uchiha | Multi-Hit ]
Rank: Sennin
Cost: 540 Chakra
Damage: 150 Per Strike
Effect: This technique has 3 strikes. Each strike of this technique inflicts with 1 turn of status effect 'Burning; 150.'
Description: This derivative of the Katon; Gōkakyū No Jutsu is a marvel of shape manipulation mastery. The chakra kneaded within the body is expelled through the mouth with such power as to create a wall of intensely hot flames. These flames though, can be deftly controlled by the user, and guided to damage targets as they see fit. Of course, like all of the Great Fireball Technique's children, in the hands of an untrained user, this technique can prove to be equally dangerous for them as well.

Katon; Gōkakyu Tōriame | 火遁・豪火球通り雨 | Fire Release; Great Fireball Shower
Type: Ninjutsu [ Fire | Hijutsu; Uchiha | AoE ]
Rank: Sennin
Cost: 560 Chakra
Damage: 200
Effect: The climate for 3 turns becomes Firestorm.
Description: This technique is considered to be the most powerful derivative of the Great Fireball Technique in existence amongst the Uchiha clan. The depths of chakra control required to perform this technique are so great that many Uchiha are never able to even begin understanding how to perform it. This is because the user must learn to remotely mix their chakra from outside their body after having expelled it into the air. In this way, the user is able to create hundreds of fireballs that then rain down onto the battlefield. The drawbacks to this technique are many, for the widespread devastation is difficult to control and often whole swathes of land are left barren and lifeless. The user also runs a significant risk of being caught in the firestorm as it engulfs the field. As a child technique of Katon; Gōkakyū No Jutsu, this technique is also capable of causing serious burns to the user if they improperly trained in the use of the technique.

Uchiha Daiaoru | うちは大煽ら | Uchiha Great Sway

Type: Ninjutsu [ Wind | Hijutsu; Uchiha | Bukijutsu; Gunbai | AoE ]

Rank: Sennin

Cost: 650 Chakra

Damage: 50

Effect: Targets of this technique are afflicted with 2 turns of the status effect ‘Clobbered’. If any target of this technique is afflicted with the status effect ‘Burning’ when this technique is performed, the damage of that status effect is increased by 100 for 2 turns. (This may extend the duration of the effects of burning, but it may not stack/ increase the damage of burning through any other skill or ability.) [This is considered an all combatants AoE]

Description: This technique takes its name from the motion of fanning flames. A high-level manipulation of his wind-natured chakra, Uchiha Shinji invented the Uchiha Daiaoru from the age old concept of using controlled gusts of wind to intensify the heat of a flame. By focusing their chakra and swiftly swinging their gunbai, the user of this technique is able to carve a wide path of destruction both by blowing away enemies and by reinvigorating any dwindling flames.

Requirement: Wind Specialty

Katon: Gōka Senpū | 火遁・豪火旋風 | Fire Release; Great Fire Whirlwind
Type: Ninjutsu [ Fire | Wind | Hijutsu; Uchiha | Bukijutsu; Gunbai | Multi-Strike ]
Rank: Sennin
Cost: 517 Chakra
Damage: 200; Strike 1, 100; Strike 2, 50; Strike 3
Effect: This technique gains the effects of both Subtle Elements; Fire and Subtle Elements; Wind. The first strike of this technique afflicts the target with 1 turn of the status effect ‘Burning; 50’, the second strike of this technique afflicts the target with 1 turn of the status effect ‘Burning; 100’, and the third strike of this technique afflicts the target with 1 turn of the status effect ‘Burning; 200’. The second strike of this attack is not responded to until the target’s second response phase after this technique is used, and the third strike is not responded to until the target’s third response phase after this technique is used. Strikes generated by this technique are treated as separate attacks when being responded to, responding to an individual strike of this technique treats this technique's base cost as if it were .3x its normal value.
Description: By using their gunbai as a catalyst, Uchiha are capable of creating powerful jutsu which combine the deadly effects of fire and wind. The Fire Release; Great Fire Whirlwind is one such jutsu which creates dangerous tornadoes of fire which swirl around the battlefield creating a lingering danger for the enemy. The fires created by this technique are extremely hot and when used in conjunction with other war fan attacks, can easily reduce most objects to nothing more than cinders.

Uchihagaeshi II | うちは返し | Uchiha Return II

Type: Ninjutsu [ Wind | Hijutsu; Uchiha| Bukijutsu; Gunbai | Response ]

Rank: Sennin

Cost: 50 + x Chakra

Effect: When determining the cost of this technique ‘x’ is equivalent to the cost of an unresolved physical attack targeting the user. The damage and effects of that technique are negated. If the user’s equipped weapon possesses the attributes ‘Block’, ‘Parry’, or ‘Ward’ the user of this technique may choose to expend up to 2 usages of the attribute which corresponds with the negated attack to deal .25x the total damage of the negated attack per usage. This effect is modified normally and dodged as if it were a regular attack, and may not break ninjutsu damage caps. This technique has a 5% chance to fail. The user of this technique may use no techniques in their Response Phase for 3 turns following the use of this technique. This technique may be used 2 times per battle. The user of this technique may take no action in their main phase the turn that Uchihageshi is used.
