Kuzunoha

 

Kuzunoha is a fox of two bodies functioning under one mind. Her twin selves move, speak and act as one unit, though it is unclear if it is actually the case that she is a single soul cleaved in twain. When Kuzunoha speaks, she refers to herself as either “us” or “we” and the haunting chorus of her two voices is unsettling to say the least.

 

Despite her creepy appearance the fox is quite kind and generous, always able to offer a gentle word or heal her summoner in a pinch. As the medic of the Inari foxes, Kuzunoha is ever-ready to lend a helping hand and is agreeable on the battlefield- moreso than her clownish cousins. Summoners of Kuzunoha may find that, despite her creepy voices, the fox is respectful, intelligent and an ideal conversation partner. She especially enjoys discussing topics of romance, and is quick to lament about how hard it is to find a mate.

Weapon: No Weapon; Twice per battle Kuzunoha may give her Summoner 1 "Blood Increasing Pill" Rank 3 as a set up phase action. These pills vanish at the end of Battle or if Kuzunoha leaves the battlefield.

  • User's current Health is increased by 100. Only 1 'Blood Increasing Pill' may be used per battle.

Skills & Techniques

Skills 8/8:

Path of the Medic: Character no longer applies Ninjutsu modifier when using Ninjutsu techniques. Character now applies 50% of their Ninjutsu modifier to Medical Ninjutsu. The skill "First Aid Provider" may be taken for free. The player may also take the skills "Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)" and "Field Medic". (-1)

 

Path of the Adv Medic: The player may take the skill "Field Surgeon". Medical Jutsu now use 100% of the user's Ninjutsu modifier. Whenever a Medical Jutsu heals a character, that character gains a shield that absorbs an amount of damage equal to 25% (rounded down) of the amount healed. The shield lasts until depleted or the end of that player's next turn. (-1)

 

Healing Lore: Whenever the skill taker would inflict the status effect “Induced Regeneration: x” for 2 or more turns, its duration is extended by 1 turn. This skill does not stack with other skills like it, but may bring the total duration of “Induced Regeneration: x” to 4. Requires Path of the Advanced Medic. (-2)


First Aid Provider: May use Gennin Ranked Medical Jutsu. (0)

 

EMT: May use Chuunin Ranked Medical Jutsu. (-2)

 

Preparation!: A character with this skill may perform any non-offensive technique during the Setup Phase that this skill is activated. Techniques performed through the activation of this skill have a 10% chance to fail. After use of this skill no techniques may be performed in the Setup Phase for 4 consecutive turns. This skill may be activated 1 time per battle. (-2)

Angelic Ward II | Tenshi no Kekkai II
Type: Ninjutsu
Rank: Chuunin [Medical]
Cost: 150 Chakra
Effect: If, in the next 4 of their turns, the target of this technique would be inflicted with a Status Effect it is negated. This technique may negate up to a total of 2 Status Effects, with a total CP of 150. The target of this technique may chose which effects are negated.
Description: A small amount of curative chakra is deposited into the target, which then becomes active upon the introduction of sudden trauma.

Fairy Ward II | Youshi no Kekkai II
Type: Ninjutsu
Rank: Chuunin [Medical]
Cost: 70
Effect: Heal the target for 40 health. The next technique of Chuunin rank or less used against the target of this technique is considered to have a fail chance of 40%. If that technique already has a fail chance, it is increased by 40%. This does not include Response Phase Techniques. Usable twice per battle.
Description: The user heals their target a little bit, and leaves an imprint of curative chakra which may protect them in the future.
