Caltrops are tiny, spiked, metal shards that are scattered across the ground and are large enough to impale an enemy’s foot. Type: Consumable Item - Rank 2 [$30]: This item as treated as if it were a Set Trap and is used in the Main Phase. Deals 20 damage, and inflicts the status effect ‘Ensnared’ for 2 turns. [Poisoned Item Slots: 1.0 Quantity: [x5] Wire String Rank II Description: Many ninja carry a thin, nearly invisible type of steel wire that has an incredibly wide array of uses on the battlefield. Most commonly wire strings are used by attaching them to thrown weapons so that they can wrap around their enemy’s body and deter their movements. Type: Consumable Item - Rank 2 [$56]: Target is inflicted with the status effect Bound; Arm or Shackled; Leg for 2 turns. This item may be applied to 1 small weapon. [Also inflicts 1 turn of Ensnared] Item Slots: 0.2 Quantity: [x5] Explosive Tag Rank II Description: Small paper tags that are mass produced in all villages, the explosive tag is infused with chakra and volatile chemicals to make it react violently when even a slight amount of chakra is applied to the paper. Explosive tags come in several varieties, all of which have explosions of varying size. Small weapons augmented by this item inflict 1 turn of the status effect ‘Full Opening’. In this instance, the status effect ‘Full Opening’ applies to any technique with the [Fire] descriptor of Chunin rank or below.Description: This thin, but durable wire was an invention of the Uchiha clan during the warring era before the formation of the shinobi villages. The composition of the wire makes it similar to a fuse, making it flammable, while still retaining durability. This flammable nature makes the wire ideal for conducting techniques of the fire element down the wire onto trapped targets. While the Uchiha clan have historically used this type of wire to great effect in their traps techniques, there have been many creative shinobi who have found ways to put it to equally good use.
