The site will be doing a small Time Skip of 6 Months. This brings the site to

2116; Winter Kongen Ato De (KAD)

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me.

It has been six months since Sunagakure declared war on Hi no Kuni with it's devastating multi-pronged first strike. While two separate forces attacked the nation directly, a third secret detachment infiltrated Hotarunoshi and overthrew the Daimyo, who Suna claims to be dead. By taking control of the political capitol of the country Sunagakure began a stranglehold on the supply lines that served the shinobi village of Konohagakure.

With the unknown status and proclaimed death of Hi no Kuni's political leader, Yoshida Kasumi, the lesser Daimyo began to scramble and attempt to place their own candidates into the position, Hyuuga Yatako stepped up to assume command of the country until a head daimyo could be properly instated while following proper protocol.

At the front lines of Suna's First Strike, now know as Operation Sunaarashii, the One Tail Jinchurikki was defeated and capture by Konohagakure forces. His whereabouts are entirely unknown to Sunagakure, but the loss of power was a devastating blow to the nations military forces.

While the remaining shinobi villages have offered aid and lent shinobi in support, they have largely remained out of the war. Otogakure seems to be gaining the most benefit from this war as both nations have extended aid and supplies to the nation to remain neutral, both notions have also used the country as a safe haven for civilians and low rank shinobi to remain out of the war.

Now the areas between the two nations is a warzone with smaller, less powerful countries bearing the brunt of the devastation. Strongholds have been erected, destroyed and stolen countless time by both sides and the constant struggle with morale grows by the day. However, this is simply the grand overview of the war from the perspective of generals, the real story lies with the shinobi on both sides fighting for their country, their way of life and their bonds.

The war has officially started the site will be moving ahead exactly six (6) months into Winter. As with any time skip, you are welcome to continue or finish loose ends in the time period, but all war events take place at this time. If you have any questions, direct them to a member of staff.

Below is a glossary of War Terms that are specific to this event. In your respective Kage boards you will find War Missions, Clash Events and objectives. Each of these will be explained in further detail in those areas. Participation in this event is entirely optional, if you do not wish to participate even if your character is in Konoha or Suna, please speak with your Kage and they will give you an out.

War Glossary

War Mission Outcome: This is a 1d5 rolled by the participant(s) before a War Mission is started. The outcome of this roll determines how successful the mission was. 5 is the best result, 1 is the worst result. Each War Mission will have a general guide to what each number equates to in an outcome.

War Mission: This is an event specific mission that characters can take to aid their village in the war. War missions will also have their own rewards, unique from standard missions (ie; Objective Dice) Objective Dice gained from War Missions are per mission, not per character. For example, if 3 characters work together to complete a War Mission that awards 1 Objective Die, only 1 Objective Die is awarded, but each character gets the Exp and Money rewards. War Events can be taken by a shinobi of any rank.

Objective Die: The outcome of this die awards Objective Points that the Kage can spend on various War Objectives. [The number of sides will change to be fair and balanced in regard to number of participants on each side]. Anyone can roll an Objective Die and report the result to their Kage. Objective Dice may also be saved and wagered in PvP stat battles. In the event that a character is rendered unconscious during a PVP battle, they cannot loose any objective dice that were not wagered at the beginning of battle. However, in the event that a character is killed while in "Killing" Intent, any objective dice on the deceased character are awarded to the winner of the battle, unless an ally survives.

Objective Points: This is the resource gained from rolling Objective Dice and is spent towards achieving War Objectives, gained from rolling Objective Dice. The Kage spends Objective points

War Objectives: This is a list of goals each side of the conflict has. Each objective has its own quota to fill. For each objective completed a reward or bonus is granted to that side of the conflict.

War Points: This is a resource that is gained from participating in Clash Events. Any shinobi or team can request for these points to be spent on specific high risk high reward missions. In order to Spend War Points on a mission, it must be requested at the Kage’s Office.

War Campaign: These are pivotal points in the war on both sides of the conflict that have direct and lasting consequences on the landscape of NA. These are choices that will require a lot of discussion among the characters and a choice to ultimately be made, for better or worse. Each side has 2 of these events

Clash Events: These are mini-games that do not reward exp or money and are optional.
