Guest Taro-kun Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 (edited) Notes: -Due to the nature of the techniques, the Aburame Clan techniques do not use handseals unless specifically stated in the description. -None of the Aburame Clan techniques may be taken without the appropriate Insect Control skill. -The Insect Control skills do not allow you to learn the techniques above your ninja rank, they only allow you to take them when you are that rank. Essentially, the technique tiers are locked. (Gennin-Ranked) Name: Steady Deployment (Tegatai Haibi) Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Gennin Restrictions: Aburame Clan Specific; Used in Setup Phase Cost: 10X; 90X Damage: N/A Effects: An amount of Kikai Hives are deployed, where the X in the cost is equal to how many are deployed using this technique. User of this technique decides the amount deployed. An amount of Kikai Colonies may be deployed in the exact same way; however the secondary cost is used instead of the first. User chooses to either deploy the Kikai Hives or Kikai Colonies, not both. Description: With a whisper of chakra and mental commands, the user of this technique sets the destruction bugs to crawling from the various orifices in the body. Usually, these are artificial wounds kept open for the express purpose of deploying the Kikai. This is considered the standard method of getting the destruction bugs out and onto the battlefield for use in various other techniques. This is the gateway to all other techniques in the secretive world of the Aburame Clan. Points: 1 Name: Sudden Deployment (Toutotsu Haibi) Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Gennin Restrictions: Aburame Clan Specific; Used in Main, Response, or Setup Phase Cost: 15X; 95X Damage: N/A Effects: An amount of Kikai Hives are deployed, where the X in the cost is equal to how many are deployed using this technique. User of this technique decides the amount deployed. For every Kikai Hive deployed, this character loses 10 Health. An amount of Kikai Colonies may be deployed in the exact same way; however the secondary cost is used instead of the first. For every Kikai Colony deployed, this character loses 50 Health. User chooses to either deploy the Kikai Hives or Kikai Colonies, not both. Description: This is the atypical means of deploying the Kikai on the battlefield, albeit the more painful way. By forcing the destruction bugs through the skin and flesh with a surge of chakra, the swarm is immediately out and ready for further commands. However, not only does this take additional chakra, but it also wounds the user for doing so; however the flexible nature of this technique more than makes up for it. It is an interesting variation on Kikai deployment. Points: 2 Name: Gushing Deployment (Funshutsu Haibi) Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Gennin Restrictions: Aburame Clan Specifc; Used in Main Phase Cost: 65X Damage: N/A Effects: An amount of Kikai Hives and/or Kikai Colonies are deployed, where the X in the cost is equal to how many Kikai Hives or Kikai Colonies deployed using this technique. User of this technique decides the amount deployed. Description: Slow and clunky, this doubtless the easiest method to deploy massive amounts of the Kikai onto the battlefield and prepare to press the attack or begin a solid defense. It is quite fearsome to watch, as it appears to be a crashing wave of destruction bugs just bursting from the Aburame Clan member. It is far from quick, but it definitely has its uses should its user be patient enough to wait for the opportune moment. Despite being well suited for its purpose, it is not often used for reasons described above; there are just faster and cheaper means to deploy the Kikai. Points: 4 Name: Swift Recall (Jinsoku Shoukan) Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Gennin Restrictions: Aburame Clan Specific; Used in Response or Setup PhaseCost: 25 Chakra Damage: N/A Effects: User of this technique determines how many Kikai Hives or Kikai Colonies that are returned to the possessor of the user. Description: Forming a difference in air pressure via the artificial holes, the Aburame Clan member forms a vacuum and begins recalling the Kikai back into the body. This is mostly for tactical purposes, but it has its place during extractions in which the user must abandon the battlefield. It is terrifying watch, as swarms upon swarms of destruction bug climb and scuttle back into the host. Simple and effective, it obeys the famous saying of the Aburame Clan, in that simplicity trumps complexity if it is more efficient. Foundation to other recall utilities, this is the first one. Points: 1 Name: Tangle of Insects (Matsuri no Konchuu) Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Gennin Restrictions: Aburame Clan Specific; Used in Main Phase Cost: 60 Chakra Damage: 0 Effects: This technique may still deal damage via modifiers and other effects. Target gains the Hamstrung status effect for two turns. The user may choose to have this technique consume any number of Kikai Hives or Kikai Colonies. For every Kikai Hive consumed this technique does 20 additional damage and for every Kikai Colony consumed it does an additional 100. The damage caps of the user's current Ninja Rank still apply. Description: Commanding the Kikai to attack, the destruction bugs swarm all over the target and began to feast on the tender human. Ripping and tearing through muscle and skin alike, it would not be such a painful thing if there were only a few. However, hives and colonies are often used in this and it is a gruesome thing to see as the opponent is shredded from the legs up. It is a basic, albeit effective technique that can quickly lay waste to the unwary. Just another reason why the Aburame Clan is so feared for its numerous secret techniques and practices. Points: 4 Name: Wings of the Bell (Tsubasa no Suzu) Type: Ninjutsu (Medical) Rank: Gennin Restrictions: Aburame Clan Specific; Used in Main Phase Cost: 75 Chakra Damage: N/A Effects: Target character gains 50 Health or the next time the target takes damage, it is reduced by 15%. The user of this technique may choose to consume 10 Kikai Hives or 1 Kikai Colony, if this is done then the next time the target takes damage it is reduced by 30% and the target gains 70 Health. Cannot be used if no Kikai Hives or Kikai Colonies have been deployed. Description: With a quick thought and a pulse of chakra, the user commands the Kikai to heal or protect a target. It is useful in forming a protective shield for an ally who could not otherwise fend for themselves, or simply for taking the bite out of the next source of pain. When used for healing, it is able to somewhat restore a person from their wounds, but usually only the minor ones. This technique is so named because it was said that the destruction bugs would fly in a swarm upon hearing the chime of a specific bell. Unfortunately, that bell has since been lost to time. Nonetheless, this technique remains incredibly effective and well-suited for a number of purposes. Points: 4 Name: Split Influence (Katsu Aori) Type: Ninjutsu (Medical) Rank: Gennin Restrictions: Aburame Clan Specific; Used in Main Phase Cost: 80 Chakra Damage: 25 Effects: Target hostile character is dealt the 25 damage, modified as normal. Target ally character gains 25 Health, this effect counts as a Medical effect, so it cannot be modified without specific skills. Cannot be used if no Kikai Hives or Kikai Colonies have been deployed. The target ally character for the healing effect may be the user, if so chosen. Description: Once the Kikai are deployed, the user begins to divide the swarm into two different, smaller swarms. Washing them with chakra to speed up their metabolism, the destruction bugs are first sent to dine on the flesh of an enemy. The other swarm is sent to help mend a wounded ally or even if the user, if the Aburame Clan member sees fit. Accomplishing two things at once, but not the best at either, this is truly a utility technique made for the sole purpose of turning the tide of battle. Points: 4 (Chuunin-Ranked) Name: Insect Proxy Outline (Konchuu Dairisha Gaikaku) Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Chuunin Restrictions: Aburame Clan Specific; Used in Response Phase; May be used once a battle. Cost: 150 Chakra Damage: N/A Effects: Negate target incoming technique of lesser Ninja rank. User of this technique may choose to have this technique consume a number of Kikai Hives or Kikai Colonies equal to 10% of the base cost of incoming technique. If this is done, then the hostile who owns the attack or technique loses an amount of Chakra or Stamina equal to 1/3 damage or stat drain that would have been done to the user. Drains Chakra in response to Ninjutsu or Genjutsu and drains Stamina in response to Taijutsu or Shojutsu. User may not take an offensive action for the rest of this turn. Description: Forming a substitute clone constructed entirely out of the Kikai, the incoming attack passes harmlessly through. The destruction bugs are scatter but remain unharmed. Leaping onto the hostile, the Kikai then begin siphoning chakra and/or stamina from the would-be attacker. A basic defense technique, it is a trick that only works once but still can win battles on its own. An excellent way to shutdown those who are too eager in doing as much damage as fast as possible. Points: 5 Name: Refraction of Insects (Kussetsu no Konchuu) Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Chuunin Restrictions: Aburame Clan Specific; Used in Response Phase Cost: X Damage: N/A Effects: Target incoming Area of Effect technique of equal or less Ninja Rank is reduced to a regular single target technique that targets the allied character of the user's choice. This may redirect the newly reduced single target technique to the user or anyone else currently deemed an ally. The cost is equal to 150% of the incoming technique's cost. An amount of Kikai Hives or Kikai Colonies equal to 10% of the incoming technique's cost are consumed. Description: Forming together a massive swarm of the destruction bugs, the Aburame Clan member commands them to form what essentially is a circle of chakra-imbued Kikai. Shrinking the ring again and again, the ensnared technique is slowly shriveled into a less widespread attack. This does not stop its momentum however, and the trapped technique still is released. However, this is an incredibly efficient form of damage control that helps stop devastation before it starts. One of the more narrow but effective technique utilized by the Aburame Clan. Points: 4 Name: Couriers of Demise (Ninsoku no Shuuen) Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Chuunin Restrictions: Aburame Clan Specific; Used in Response Phase Cost: X Damage: N/A Effects: Target incoming Ninjutsu or Genjutsu technique has its destination switched to its owner. This cannot be applied to Area of Effect techniques and can only be used on techniques or equal or lesser Ninja Rank. The cost is equal to 110% of the incoming technique's cost. An amount of Kikai Hives or Kikai Colonies equal to 10% of the incoming technique's cost are consumed. May be used in conjunction with the Refraction of Insects (Kussetsu no Konchuu) technique; both are used at the same time in the Response Phase. Owner of the technique may dodge as normal. Only useable three times per battle. May not take action in the main phase. Description: A very difficult technique, this can be used to essentially create a vacuum of Kikai that gather the incoming chakra in a spinning tunnel of destruction bugs. Whirling around rapidly, it is confined and redirect back to its original owner. Unleashed, the caged technique falls upon its own master; biting into the very body that gave birth to it in the first place. Quick and easily done, this technique can be used to great effect, though it is rather draining and most likely best utilized as a finisher of sorts. Points: 5 Name: Armor Augment (Zoukyou Gusoku) Type: Ninjutsu (Medical) Rank: Chuunin Restrictions: Aburame Clan Specific; Used in Setup Phase Cost: 75 Chakra Damage: N/A Effects: User of this techniques gains an addition to their block range by five points. For all characters without increased blocking, this raises it from five to ten numbers below the amount for a successful dodge. This addition may be raised by an additional five points if the user should choose to consume four Kikai Hives instead of the two required for the technique. A single Kikai Colony may be used for either cost. Description: Commanding the Kikai to reinforce the flesh below the surface, the Aburame Clan member raises their ability to partially deflect blows. However, the weakness to this strategy lay in the fact that it only works as well as the user has reflexes. So if the user is not skilled in dodging, then it will have little effect on the battle. Should the user be very skilled in dodging, then it becomes a powerful tool to make sure that even if attacks slide through they are weakened. Points: 4 Name: Shelling for Debt (Hougeki Ongi) Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Chuunin Restrictions: Aburame Clan Specific; Used in Main Phase Cost: 90 Damage: 60 Effects: Target character suffers 60 damage and loses 40 of their total chakra. The user may choose to consume either an additional Kikai Hive or a Kikai Colony. Consuming an additional Kikai Hive increases the base damage of the technique by 10 and the chakra damage by 10. Consuming an additional Kikai Colony increases the base damage of the attack by 70 and increases the chakra damage by 20. Requires at least one Kikai Hive or Kikai Colony be deployed before use. Description: Assembling a shambling swarm of destruction bugs, the user commands them to hover around the target. Each insect in the Kikai swarm then leaps onto the opponent and starts shredding miniscule tears all over the exposed flesh of the target. It is said to be rather traumatizing, as a veritable black cloud hovers about and than strikes without relent. Rather brutal, the destruction bugs even feast on the chakra flowing within the victim and remind the opponent why the Aburame Clan is not to be trifled with. Guest Taro-kun Posted September 30, 2006 Posted September 30, 2006 I would really like to see these things looked over please. Thank you.
Arashi Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 Tegatai Haibi - No problem Toutotsu Haibi - Only usable at the main phase. Is the damage dealt without modifiers, like bleeding damage, or is it like normal damage (with modifiers)? Funshutsu Haibi - Where's the difference from the first jutsu, besides the cost? Why is it cheaper to deploy a colony with this jutsu, if both are gennin rank? Jinsoku Shoukan - Only setup phase. Matsuri no Konchuu - hive 10 and colonies 90. Tsubasa no Suzu - Take out the reduced damage. JP:4 Katsu Aori - Denied. An HP absorption on gennin rank at a 1:1 ratio... I think there's no need for any explications... Konchuu Dairisha Gaikaku - Take out the chakra/stamina loss and I approves. Kussetsu no Konchuu - Change 90 to 150%. May not do anything offensive in the main phase this turn. Ninsoku no Shuuen - May not do anything in the main phase this turn. Max. 2 times/battle. Zoukyou Gusoku - Approved Hougeki Ongi - Change the % to a static number. And last, do NEVER post this amount of jutsus in only single topic again...
Guest sasukepwnz Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 Tegatai Haibi - No problem Great thanks Toutotsu Haibi - Only usable at the main phase. Is the damage dealt without modifiers, like bleeding damage, or is it like normal damage (with modifiers)? Im sorry but I cant agree with that. The whole point of Sudden deployment is when in a pinch or an attackk is coming at you. There are reasons for this technique and they correspond to certain skilsl this one Im afraid must stay as is. And there is no modifier to the damage taken for deploying the kikai it is always 10. Funshutsu Haibi - Where's the difference from the first jutsu, besides the cost? Why is it cheaper to deploy a colony with this jutsu, if both are gennin rank? The first is used in the setup phase and the second is in the main phase. They need to stay ^^ Jinsoku Shoukan - Only setup phase. Again this needs to be useable in response phsae as well or it would defeat the purpose of the technqiue. These techniques correpsond with the skills, like the skin need them in I think and the mdeicals need them out thus to get one or the other you recall in response or setup. This needs to go as is please. Matsuri no Konchuu - hive 10 and colonies 90. Alright I agree with the 10 for hives that I can do. However the 90 for colonies I disagree with, considering the cap is 60 damage, now if this technique broke the gennin cap then Im fine with that. If thats what you would like to do please let me know. Tsubasa no Suzu - Take out the reduced damage. JP:4 That reduced damage needs to stay in my opinion else the chakra cost needs to come down. I really want it to stay though what if the JP cost was increased to 5? Would that be sufficient? Katsu Aori - Denied. An HP absorption on gennin rank at a 1:1 ratio... I think there's no need for any explications... I really dont see your logic here big deal its only 25 health? Not much compared t the 5 and 600 Ive seen many characters have. Not to mention the fact that it could just read opponent takes 25 damage and user heals self for 25. O.o? Konchuu Dairisha Gaikaku - Take out the chakra/stamina loss and I approves. Thats one of the biggest effects and best of the technique. That really needs to stay, becuase its either or not both if it were obth I can see your logic, however its one or the other and its a chuunin ranked technique. Kussetsu no Konchuu - Change 90 to 150%. May not do anything offensive in the main phase this turn. I will go with the nothing in main phase, but 150%? Thats alot of chakra Id say since theyre AoE 100% at the most. Ninsoku no Shuuen - May not do anything in the main phase this turn. Max. 2 times/battle. Max 2 times is fine with me however this main phase thing troubles me. That means your basically leaving your opponent open to attack you im not too comfortable with that notion. I will add in 2x per battle however, I would rather not add the main phase thing. Zoukyou Gusoku - Approved Ok Hougeki Ongi - Change the % to a static number. I think the % would be better honeslty especially for those chakra and stamina stackers this would be good. Otherwise I say 100 and you mods freak out >.< And last, do NEVER post this amount of jutsus in only single topic again... Fine >..> However I do have one more thing to say with all these corrections and such for each one. Maelstrom thought that they were fine? I know that your going to say blah blah blah I think theyre not be he didn't want to change a single thing on these I think that they are better off without any changes there fore until you post I wont change anything and if you convince me then Ill make the corrections I said I would in this post.
Arashi Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 Toutotsu Haibi - It's for fairness reasons. It's only a gennin tech. Ah, and max. 60 damage with this (as there isn't really a max. of hives you can put on an enemy for this jutsu) Funshutsu Haibi - But then Hives/clonies costs the same here? Jinsoku Shoukan - Okay Matsuri no Konchuu - 60 will be fine then. Tsubasa no Suzu - No, the effect is already enough powerful. And it's only a gennin jutsu. Katsu Aori - It's still only a gennin jutsu, we normaly doesn't allows these kind of jutsus at even chuunin level. If you have seen some out there, I'm sure it wasn't neither me or Nappers who approved it. Not even Sakos absorption jutsus haves a 1:1 ratio. Konchuu Dairisha Gaikaku - Then take out the negtion effect. Booth effect are too powerful for one jutsu. Kussetsu no Konchuu - The enemy has paid a lot of CHK/STM to do it an AOE, then it's not fair that youpays less to not negate it, but do so only he is affected by it! 150% or denied, I will not change my mind here. Ninsoku no Shuuen - The logic behind this is that otherwise you would attack him twice. I do not see your logic, as it would not do you more vulnerable to the enemies attacks. But if you want, you can change it to 3 times/battle... Hougeki Ongi - % is a no-no. And 100? I hope that was a joke... I would say 20, 10 and 30 respectively... And well... both me and Mael are humans (I think?), and we can have different ways to see things. I would think that Maelstrom would need to look a second time on those jutsus, as I do not see them to be finnished for approval yet. But as I said, we are humans, and haves different opinions...
Guest sasukepwnz Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 Toutotsu Haibi - It's for fairness reasons. It's only a gennin tech. Ah, and max. 60 damage with this (as there isn't really a max. of hives you can put on an enemy for this jutsu) Do you realize this damage to to ME as in the character deploying them? And not the opponent? O.o? Funshutsu Haibi - But then Hives/clonies costs the same here? After looking it over agian your costs are fine that you stated before. Jinsoku Shoukan - Okay Matsuri no Konchuu - 60 will be fine then. Ok on the above two Tsubasa no Suzu - No, the effect is already enough powerful. And it's only a gennin jutsu. Then what If I made it a Chuunin level Jutsu? Would it be fine then, also this technique is one or the other you dont gain 50 health and damage reduction one or the other. Fine Ill change to 1:1 ratio then that good? Konchuu Dairisha Gaikaku - Then take out the negtion effect. Booth effect are too powerful for one jutsu. Its already a chuunin level tcehnique, if I increased the JP and the chakra cost could we leave as is please? Kussetsu no Konchuu - The enemy has paid a lot of CHK/STM to do it an AOE, then it's not fair that youpays less to not negate it, but do so only he is affected by it! 150% or denied, I will not change my mind here. I would like another mods opinion on this I can not see paying over 300 chakra to redidrect a gennin level technique >_> Just cant see it. So other mods please post here >.> Ninsoku no Shuuen - The logic behind this is that otherwise you would attack him twice. I do not see your logic, as it would not do you more vulnerable to the enemies attacks. But if you want, you can change it to 3 times/battle... Fine 3 it is . . . Hougeki Ongi - % is a no-no. And 100? I hope that was a joke... I would say 20, 10 and 30 respectively... You see my point >_>you mods go crazy over any three digit number >_> What if I were facing a jounin with over 1000 chakra? ((not saying this would happen just an Ex.)) 10% of that would be a good damage to him however 20 chakra HAHA what a laugh that would be >_>. Maybe 50 chakra? That I can see but Id still rather see a % And well... both me and Mael are humans (I think?), and we can have different ways to see things. I would think that Maelstrom would need to look a second time on those jutsus, as I do not see them to be finnished for approval yet. But as I said, we are humans, and haves different opinions... Maelstrom Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 (edited) APP'D Have Arashi look over the changes and slap on the final approval. Edit: Anyone else can approve and move it as well, so long as Arashi looks at the techs at some point and agrees. Edited October 3, 2006 by Maelstrom
Guest sasukepwnz Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 OK and everythings fixed as you siad Arashi so whenever your ready approve please?
Guest Asuka Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 I would approve, but I want Arashi as the final once, since he was the one with all the improvments etc..
Arashi Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 Konchuu Dairisha Gaikaku - My problem with this is that you are negating a jutsu, and then paying 40 chakra to reflect that jutsu against the opponents Chakra or Stamina. Change the reflection to "equal to 1/4 of the damage or stat drain that would have been done to the user" Kussetsu no Konchuu - I'm not changing my mind here. This will be denied until it's 150% of the cost of the AOE.
Arashi Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Konchuu Dairisha Gaikaku - 1/3 and we haves an agreement...

Guest sasukepwnz Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Arashi you gots a deal Ill edit in the things you siad then move this please.
Arashi Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 As Nappers said, change the damage to 5, and the statement he remarked.
Nappers Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 (edited) Ichigo, Maelstrom and Arashi- the three of you realise the below techniques cost 4 JP right Name: Gushing Deployment (Funshutsu Haibi)Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Gennin Restrictions: Aburame Clan Specifc; Used in Main Phase Cost: 65X Damage: N/A Effects: An amount of Kikai Hives and/or Kikai Colonies are deployed, where the X in the cost is equal to how many Kikai Hives or Kikai Colonies deployed using this technique. Maelstrom Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Everyone makes mistakes. Anyway, once those are fixed I'll go ahead and slap on another approval.
Nappers Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 (edited) But of course, but three of our [counts..] 6 [?] active staff at once- worrying Don't forget that besides the JP change, the statement change indicated in 'Post 16'. Make this cost 150, and 5 JP too- unless that 1/3 is becoming 1/5 [which is also quite high]. edit: [None of you] hardly read these did you, if even I the imperfect nubmin can find these simple flaws. We should all take 'reading creations 1o1' before we all start slapping on another approval onto anything. Edited October 5, 2006 by Nappers
Guest sasukepwnz Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 (edited) @Napp fine I'll edit it in. . . And since I changed the things maelstrom and napps said, males approval counts as one and I need one more please. Edit: Edited in the things napps. Edited October 10, 2006 by sasukepwnz
Guest Ichi-kun Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 After reading far to much, i feel tired, thanks. App
Nappers Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 You didn't read anything. Lemmie quote some post a little bit ago because it was neglected as these jutsu still are undercosted regarding JP: Ichigo, Maelstrom and Arashi- the three of you realise the below techniques cost 4 JP right Name: Gushing Deployment (Funshutsu Haibi)Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Gennin Restrictions: Aburame Clan Specifc; Used in Main Phase Cost: 65X Damage: N/A Effects: An amount of Kikai Hives and/or Kikai Colonies are deployed, where the X in the cost is equal to how many Kikai Hives or Kikai Colonies deployed using this technique. Points: 2 Name: Wings of the Bell (Tsubasa no Suzu) Type: Ninjutsu (Medical) Rank: Gennin Restrictions: Aburame Clan Specific; Used in Main Phase Cost: 75 Chakra Damage: N/A Effects: Target character gains 50 Health or the next time the target takes damage, it is reduced by 15%. Points: 3 Name: Split Influence (Katsu Aori) Type: Ninjutsu (Medical) Rank: Gennin Restrictions: Aburame Clan Specific; Used in Main Phase Cost: 80 Chakra Damage: 25 Effects: Target hostile character is dealt the 25 damage, modified as normal. Points: 3
Guest sasukepwnz Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 Why would those need ot be four points, especially the gushing developement?
