Hardcore Skittlez Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 We're taking steps to move away from sources of "unmodified" damage- as it's a degenerative sort of mechanic that punishes defensive builds for simply existing.
Yurane Posted November 18, 2014 Author Posted November 18, 2014 (edited) Mmkay. That wasn't the intention of this anyway, I clarified the wording to bring it more in line with what I was going for while not making how modifiers work be more complicated than they have to be. Hopefully that's a little better. I'd argue that unmodified damage is an answer to "Well if you're not a nuker, defense builds (which have no limit to how much they can be enhanced, unlike any other stat) shut you down completely, how is that any less degenerative for builds that aren't about cranking out massive amounts of damage, punishing them for existing" but I'm guessing it's not something that many care about, nor something I think is worth fighting over for this. PandaMattMatt Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 The upkeep on the last one keeps coming to closer to 95 Chakra/Stamina for me. 111 *.85 = 94.35
