Summon Family:

20px-Toad_Symbol.png Toads [Gamabunta's Gang]

Appearance:

• Gamabunta is among the largest toads of Mount Myoboku, and in spite of his wealth of experience in battle and considerable skill, the toad boss is beginning to show his age. His red-orange skin has become somewhat leathery with a few wrinkles around the eyes and mouth. He bears a single, puckered scar over his left eye, which was a gift from a battle long ago. He always appears with a jacket and chest wrap that makes him appear like a yaukuza gangster, and a long-stemmed pipe that billows a fragrant smoke.

Personality:

• Like many of the toads of Myobokuzan, Gamabunta exudes an air of salty indifference to most smaller lifeforms, and only truly shows respect to those who are worthy of it. Deep down he is a good-hearted creature with a respect for the lives of others. Of course that does not preclude him from being a vicious warrior and he has claimed the lives of many other creatures. He battles particularly hard against the snakes of Ryuchi Cave, with whom his kin have feuded for many generations.

• Toad Boss' Blade
Weapon Type: Tantō
Weapon Size: Large
Weapon Level: 50
Attributes:

-- Giant Slayer: This weapon is considered to be Level 100 when dealing damage to Level 3 or Level 4 Summons.

Description: The well-worn, straight sword that belongs to Gamabunta is of enormous size. It is far to massive an unwieldy for humans to attack with, barring some sort of supernatural strength. The blade is less suited for doing battle against human-sized combatants, mostly just creating massive craters rather than actually lending itself to combat. When used against large foes, equaling the size of Gamabunta himself, the sword is a massive boon.
Cost: 両1000

Effect: Characters with this skill may use Ninjutsu techniques of the 'Oil' element. Offensive techniques of the 'Oil' element reduce the target's Speed statistic by 10% for 1 turn. In addition, the user of a 'Oil' technique may choose to apply the bonus from one of the Subtle Elements skills required to learn this skill, if they possess it.
Description: Ninjutsu composed of oil are extremely rare, and are known to only be used by the toads of Mount Myoboku and their summoners. By utilizing their chakra, and kneading their water and earth natured chakra together, toads are able to produce a thick, sticky petroleum that is both quite flammable and capable of slowing those covered in it considerably.
Requirements: Subtle Elements; Earth, Subtle Elements; Water
Cost: -1 [summoning Element; -0]

• Subtle Elements; Water
Effect: Characters with this skill may use Water element techniques. All Water Techniques cost 10% less and deal 10% more base damage when near a large source of liquid water, rounded up. All 5 “Subtle Element” skills share ranks.
Description: Water is a powerful tool in the arsenal of some shinobi. The village of Kirigakure No Sato is well-known for spawning ninja who wield the element of water with great skill, but any ninja with the desire to learn such a feat may be able to command the torrential power of water.

• Savior
Effect: Once per team battle a character with this skill may choose to take an attack in place of an ally without need for any rolls. Description: Sometimes it is not good enough to be reactive, at times a ninja must be proactive in protecting their team. Though this is not solely a Medical Ninja philosophy, it is often associated to them.
Cost: -1

• Strategist
Effect: Once per battle, a character with this skill may choose to have their next attack on a single target become a critical hit for 1.5 times its total damage.

• Gyaku Kuchiyose No Jutsu | Reverse Summoning Technique | 逆口寄せの術
Type: Ninjutsu [Void | Hijutsu; Summons]
Rank: Chūnin
Cost: x Chakra (See Summoning Rules)
Effect: When determining the cost of this technique, the user of this technique must roll a 50-sided dice. This roll is treated as if it were a Summoning Roll, with the user's Summoning Level being treated as their rank. The user's level is treated as if it were equal to the target's when using this technique. The target of this technique negates any unresolved physical attacks that would target them in their next Response Phase. The maximum rank of technique that may be negated by this technique is equivalent to the result of the Summoning Roll (i.e. 61-100; Genin, 101-130; Chūnin, etc) This technique may only target characters that possess the skill 'Contract Manager' that relates to the user. This technique may be used 1 time per battle.
Description: When a shinobi enters into a contract with a group of animals to work in unison, that contract is a two way road. The ninja is capable of summoning any of the animals they are contracted with provided they have the chakra to do so, but that shinobi is also bound to that family of animals. This jutsu is the opposite of the Summoning Technique, which allows animals to summon their contracted shinobi. Though it is most often used to transfer a shinobi over long distances when needed, it can also be used for quick evasive action and to protect their summoner from harm.
