  1. Exams and assignments and stuff are creeping up so I might not be by for a little while. I apologize for delaying any story, but I hope everyone is still having fun. See you guys on the flip side.
  2. Yep, the subscription plans will probably be similar to WoW. I'm kinda hyped about the game mainly because it's kotor and bioware. I'm not all on board with the mmorpg part though. If the class I take is forced to be restricted as a tank, healer, damage, or support type then I'll stick a bunch of starving ewoks in a box and ship them to bioware so when they open the box the ewoks will cannibalize the staff. But if bioware can deliver The Old Repulic like the kotor series or mass effect then I'm all in.
  3. I really want to get it, but at the same time I don't because I know that I'll most likely disappear from the face of the earth for at least a week once I have my hands on it. Yes, I admit that I loved the first one as well.
  4. “One, two, Freddy's coming for you. Three, four, better lock your door. Five, six, grab your crucifix. Seven, eight, better stay awake. Nine, ten, never sleep again.” --A Nightmare on Elm Street Name: Demonic Illusion: Nightmare Returner Technique (Magen: Akumu Kaeru no Jutsu) Type: Genjutsu [Void] Rank: Genin Cost: 40 Chakra Damage: 60 (Ghost) Effect: This technique has a -10% to hit unless the target is Scared, Afraid, Terrified, or Petrified. If this attack hits, the target receives 25 Bleed (normal) damage for one turn. Description: The user reaches into the dark crevices of the target's mind to unleash their fears into an amplified living nightmare that they're forced to endure for what appears to be many nights. This Genjutsu's appearance will vary in accordance to a target's fear but there is always one constant the target will experience. They will eventually find a madly cackling, horrific, rotting, and vile goblin riding their chest as they are dragged along the sharp bones of the dead for several nights by a dark, wicked, severely burnt horse wreathed in flames. Folklore speaks of a similar creature that rides on people's chest while they sleep and bring nightmares upon them. This Genjutsu is difficult for the user to utilize accurately on a target, not because of the difficulty to access the fear of others. It is because the user actually momentarily experiences the dark abyssal stuff of nightmares itself when initiating this jutsu. A target already fearful is more vulnerable to this technique thus waving the penalty when utilizing it on such enemies. The target will also find themselves briefly bleeding profusely from their nose, eyes, and ears after being hit by the Genjutsu due to acute cerebral hemorrhaging caused by the extreme hypertension and stress placed upon the brain during the Genjutsu. Points: 2 And no, I wasn't watch Nightmare on Elm Street when this neat idea popped into my brain.

  6. Ray, when someone asks you if you're a god, you say "YES"! Ghost Bump
  7. Woot! Anyone else? Almost forgot, thanks to Taiki for your input! And a special thanks to Azure for putting up my with all my questions and responses.
  8. Here's an idea that just popped into my mind, not sure if you'll like it but it seems to fit in with your random chance rolls that I've notice in some of your work. Instead of rolling a random d100 why not have certain cards be more accurate then others. So you roll 1d52 to represent each card in a deck every time you thrown a card. The numbers 52-49 may represent aces which give the most accuracy like +5 or 10% when they are thrown. The numbers 1-2 may represent the jokers which give negative accuracy like -5% or -10%, or maybe completely miss, or maybe fly around like a boomerang and hit your character instead. If you roll numbers for cards around the middle then you don't receive any accuracy bonuses. Of course you'll have to get more in depth and decide which cards give what and such but I'm sure you get the idea. Hope you like the thought.
  9. I think I get what you mean now. From my perspective since it was a hybrid genjutsu/taijutsu, I wasn't trying to pay the ghost damage with stamina. I was using the Taijutsu damage ratio but still pay the ghost damage with chakra. I mean the way the gen/tai technique is going now, its like I'm just get two jutsus for their normal cost but I have to pay an extra one JP for nothing.
  10. So I can't use the Taijutsu ratio for the damage like it says in the hybrid rules? I mean it makes sense that the genjustu uses that ratio since I'm making a connection with the body to perform a more potent genjutsu - all explained previously. Also with the first one shouldn't I be able to associate the damage ratio the same way for the whole damage. The rules make it seem like it can be done in the way that I've described earlier. Maybe the rules need to be more detailed in regards to hybrid jutsu so there's no confusion? I apologize if it seems like I'm fighting; I'm really not. I'm just trying to make sure the techniques gets all that they deserve, understand where I went wrong, and resolve questions and confusion. Thanks for the feedback again Azure!
  11. After rereading the rules and feedback many many times, I think I've finally realized where I went wrong and have edited the techniques. Hopefully these changes will resolve any issues from before. Thanks for the feedback inspiration!
