    Kesagiri | Cross Cut | -- Type: Genin | Taijutsu [void] Cost: 16 Stamina Damage: 20 Effect: This technique's damage raises by it's base value when used in succession. If this technique misses, the total damage is reset to it's base. A maximum of 80 damage may be created from this technique. Cost value of this technique raises by 10 per successive hit. Description: Though seemingly a basic slashing attack with a sword or bladed weapon of some sort. Due to the refining of the skill behind this attack, when used in succession, the damage of this move steadily increases. Cost: 4 Note(s): -Cost per bonus changed. -Still no kanji atm.

    Double Major out. Would a certain amount of ranks in inner calm or steadfast durability suffice? I don't see why it would/should be restricted to a BL or Path, could you elaborate on that bit?

    I think you misunderstood or I'm not totally grasping what you mean. Masterful Conversion is more like dropping the limiter on how far you can reduce a jutsu. Unless that's what you're getting at. I'm under the impression that you are meaning that it drops a jutsu 25%? Like the new/current reduction rule is no jutsu can be reduced past half of it's cost. So regardless of skills, BL, etc. a jutsu can't go under half it's cost (100 can't go below 50). With this skill, jutsu can drop to 25% but no lower (100 can't go below 25). But like I said, maybe I misunderstood what you meant. I'm not sure but perhaps that clarified what I intended the skill for a little bit better.

    Definitely. My thought or idea was to create something that allowed people to switch directions without totally giving up what they have worked for (like a double major; random tidbit). I figured it is potentially game unbalancing, my first counter thought being 'how would Paint exploit this' but I figured I would at least put it out and see how it goes, you know? Do you think there could be any way to perhaps limit or further limit the ability to potentially unbalance the bonuses with paths/ having two paths? Also, would you say the second skill is reasonable?
  9. Since I finally have a lull in my schedule for a solid amount of time, I was looking to get in some story mode co-op with anyone in the Hidden Leaf. Doesn't matter if you're a level 0 looking for a team or itching to work out an NPC. I have no specific requirement for anything. Use whatever NPC you wish. Or if you're looking for a team for your PC, let's go about some missions and adventures. If anyone is up for the task, shoot me a pm or drop a comment with anything as little as "I'm down." and I could just as easily shoot you a pm.

JP: -- Kawarimi no Jutsu | Body Substitute Technique | 変わり身の術 Type: Academy | Ninjutsu [void] Cost: 10 Chakra Damage: -- Effects: Evade the next attack aimed at you. Skip your main and setup phase this turn. You can only use this 1 time per battle. This technique cannot be used to dodge Ninjutsu, Taijutsu or Genjutsu Techniques. You are unable to attack the opponent the turn you use this. Can only be used 3 times per battle. ​Description: A lifesaver, and a must-have technique. With this technique, the user is able to swap their body with a nearby object, usually a log, which will take the full force of any incoming blows for them, while they retreat to safe ground or search for an opening.   16. I do not wish to remove my burdens. I want to make peace with them and all is right. I remember we were talking once. I forget, was I the wolf or the fox? - During the summer, twins were born in the village of the hidden leaves. A girl, Kairi and a boy, Mako. Brought into this world apart of the Sarutobi clan, famed for their exploits in the hidden leaf for over a century. The two had a modest upbringing, neither well off nor of a poor bloodline. Raised like most of the other children of the village with futures to represent and protect the village and country they called home. It did not take long before the Sarutobi twins would garner attention, excelling in the academy, considered geniuses of their class. Inseparable, the two had an understanding that others simply could not comprehend and with it did Mako best his class, except for one person; Kairi. Before the two could graduate the academy, a force from the north had overthrown the military presence in the hidden leaf. In the conflict, the two would know heartbreak. Fleeing the hidden leaf and the fire country, their father had moved them to kusagakure, the hidden grass village. One of the few sovereign villages after the blitzkrieg of kumogakure. Though they had taken refuge in a new village, their father could not stay with them for very long, the resistance and rebellion against the empire needing his aid was an important matter, despite his own feelings of leaving his children in new surroundings. Though young, the two integrated into the hidden grass' society easily. Their neighbors kind and their father visiting sporadically, the two were able to make the most of what they had. In time they had become the equivalent of a lower rank ninja, despite never obtaining an official ninja status. Though Kairi, his twin, had become greater, a true genius. When the last insurrection had taken place, the Sarutobi twins were able to finally return home. The happiness of returning to their home village was brief as with it came the news of their father's death in the battle. The two had become official genin when the independence of the hidden leaf was won. Given the same team, the two had progressed naturally. Though their fame had been long forgotten, their development in the ninja arts did not come to a halt. Kairi had become a chûnin by the time of their fourteenth birthday and even though Mako did not reach the same level as his sister, he was happy. Content with seeing his sister happy. Eventually they would take on a mission in the hidden rain and it was then that Mako's life would unravel. The mission had fell through, their original task going belly up, they had to make a hasty retreat. In the aftermath, Kairi would lay lifeless in Mako's arms, under the neon lights of the hidden rain village and battered by it's endless rain. Returning to the hidden leaf, Mako was broken. His will and desire to continue along the path of the ninja was all but lost. In the coming years, he would lose his position as a ninja of the hidden leaf and even his knowledge of the ninja arts. Though the fate meeting of a young girl named Naminé would change his life forever. The memory of his sister was so strong within the little girl that it had reignited his desire to traverse the road of the ninja. Though he would not know what traveling this road further would have in store for him, he learned to cope with the past and move forward with his head held high; confidently. - I remember now...

[MY LOOKS] -Height: Five Foot NINE -Weight: One Hundred Fifty Pounds -Hair: Auburn strands of hair extend from the young man's scalp. Relatively unkept but yet retaining a thick and vigorous look. Grown just short of mid-length, his hair certainly becomes noticeably wavy at the current length. Lethargic attempts to shepherd his hair towards the back of his head and away from his face, still can't deny this inheritance bestowed upon him. -Eyes: Radiant rings of amber encompass his pupil. Blends of yellow-orange-brown and red, fluctuating in tone; swirling. Standing out from behind bold iris linings and the almond shape of his own eyes. -Clothing: Not much effort is appeared to have been put into his fashion sense. However the young man is far from fashion inept. Usually adorning clothing that as a single item, appears to be nothing, but as a complete outfit, turns out to encase him in an shroud of cool. In the line of duty however, his attire becomes more common place. Choosing to take up the longer pant, rather than the shorts many other individuals wear. A simple black, long sleeve shirt, reminiscent of the chûnin/jōnin under shirt. Typical second generation ninja boot; heel closed. Accompanied by bandages that wrap from the start of his ankle and to the base of his pant leg, drawing the pant leg opening sealed. Of course he also utilizes the standard ninja accessory; waist pack. -Description: A relatively tall stature and the typical olive complexion found near the coastal regions of the continent; anbaenkai. Built quite durably, Mako's body is lean in the sense of muscle to fat ratio, more-so than slight of frame. Enough to show slight muscle definition but not obsessively so. Daily activities and his general restlessness keep his body constantly burning energy, which in turn gives him a well worked appearance. The way his vessel is managed, he is not without superficial flaws however. Fading scars are scattered across his young body, turning the immediate area a lighter tone than the surrounding areas. The typical body of a highly active, male, teen. [THIS IS ME] Actively lazy, Mako doesn't happen to get interested in things at first sight. Usually requiring some sort of incentive in order for himself to get involved, at which a high interest is usually developed. Likewise, whenever presented with something that he already has an interest in, sometimes he may not appear excited or even interested at all. Being quite the complex young man to say the least. He has a certain, intoxicating, confidence about him. Walking with his head high, talking as if on level playing ground to any and everyone, though remaining respectful regardless of age. In spite of this, he is still rather direct and outspoken. Having no qualms about saying things that may aggravate or embarrass others but often quieting down and becoming easily flappable when embarrassed himself. That being said, uncomfortable moments unnerve him easily, usually wanting to run away even when the situation doesn't even involve him. Though he may speak respectfully, he isn't above taunting opposition and boasting which is usually exclusive to competitive and combat situations. Likewise, he is sometimes prone to attacking without warning, which may be viewed as dirty tactics or dishonorable. It wouldn't be far from the truth to say his morals are somewhat muddied. A person of so many, varying, levels of less-than-desirable traits, he does have heightened sense of justice and loyalty. To the point of berating enemies for disregarding their own allies and fiercely defending his friends even if it means entering harms way.
