  1. Teachings of Jizō | Jizō no Oshie | 地蔵の教え Description: Named for the Bodhisattva known for wielding the Shakujō, Jizō Bosatsu, the taijutsu style of the Ninja Monks is a study in discipline and harmony, a fusion of jutsus that utilize the Ninsō teachings of balance and unity to create one cohesive whole. The style is a never-ending barrage of jutsus in action, its efforts focused towards reducing the strain of these taxing moves on their user, and though the true Fūinjutsu techniques are reserved for only the most skilled of Ninja Monks, a successful flurry of strikes is often capped of by a chakra-imbued blow to one of the Tenketsu points drilled into a practitioner during their training, sealing off a measure of the opponent's abilities for a time. Effects: Allows user to generate ‘Jizō’ Charges, up to a maximum of five (5). Jizō Charges are gained whenever a Jizō Style Hybrid technique with Taijutsu as one of its components successfully hits. Jizō Charges can be used for any of the following purposes: 1. The user may spend one or more Jizō Charges whenever using a Teachings of Jizō technique, to reduce the chakra and stamina costs by 5x% respectively, where x represents the number of Charges spent. 2. Whenever using a Teachings of Jizō technique, the user may spend two (2) Jizō Charges to apply one (1) turn of Quarantine [Ninjutsu/Taijutsu/Genjutsu] to that technique. Normal battle limits for the Quarantine status effect apply to this ability as well. 3. The user may perform a technique that requires the use of Jizō Charges. Cost: -1
  2. Skill Name: Ansatsuken Description: A style of combat designed to neutralize multiple targets as quickly as possible. Ansatsuken fighters are not built for battles of attrition; if a battle draws on even one minute longer than anticipated they will be at a heavy disadvantage. It is a striking, fluid form of combat built upon a solid, immobile stance. Strikes are delivered in every possible direction, regardless of enemy positions or terrain. Effect: The user starts every battle with 5 [Flurry Charge]s. While they possess at least one [Flurry Charge], they may not gain additional [Flurry Charge]s or any charges in another Taijutsu Style. When the user's last [Flurry Charge] is lost or spent, roll a d3. For a number of turns equal to the result, the user may not spend or gain charges from any Taijutsu Style. [Flurry charges] are exhausted in the following ways: 1. You may spend up to 1 [Flurry Charge] in your set-up phase to reduce the cost of the next Ansatsuken technique by 10%; doubled if that technique is an [Area of Effect] technique. 2. You may spend up to 1 [Flurry Charge] in your set-up phase to have next Ansatsuken [Area of Effect] technique gain an additional 10% chance to hit. 3. You may spend your last [Flurry Charge] in your set-up phase and declare up to three targets; have your next Ansatsuken technique cause the "Staggered" status effect on the 3 chosen targets for one turn each if the attacks are successful. You are afflicted with "Tired" for x turns, where x is equal to the number of enemies that have become "Staggered". Requirement: 5 Posts of training with a character that knows the style. Cost: -1SP
  3. Old Version Remaking this Tai style after realizing I made it wrong to begin with! Hohō | Step Method [Taijutsu Style] | 歩法 Description: Hohō, or Stepping Method, is a movement technique developed by Hayashi Tetsuo, which allows him to move faster than the average person for his height is capable of achieving. The focal point which determines the basis of this technique is speed, which is the main purpose of this sword based fighting style; This fighting style is best characterized by how fast one can get from point A to point B in the least amount of steps to be able to deliver a blow with their blades. By manipulating lightning based chakra on his feet Tetsuo is able to give himself a significant boost in speed at the right moment to either dodge attacks or better position himself for an counter onslaught. Effect: This taijutsu style may be utilized while the user is holding weapons in each hand. Allows for the accumulation of “Flash” charges. A Flash charge is generated whenever Hoho taijutsu technique successfully strikes its target; Or when the user successfully dodged an attack in the response phase. [User cannot gain multiple flash charges from different sources in a single turn]. - The user may spend one or more Flash Charge(s) as a free action in the Setup Phase to increase the chance to critically strike with the next Hoho Style Taijutsu technique used this turn by 4x%. May only work with a technique of 500 CP or less. - The user may use one (1) Flash Charge as a free action in the Setup Phase to make the next Hoho Style Taijutsu technique of Jounin rank or lower into a Weapon Jutsu. The user may spend one (1) additional Flash Charge to change a Sennin rank Hoho Style technique into a Weapon Jutsu. Requirements: 5 Posts of training with a character that knows the style. Cost: -1 SP Math: per charge: so I took 500 * (2(4%)) = 40 CP at max charges spent: 500 (Max CP) * (2(20)/100) which totals 200 CP for spending 5 charges on the first ability. [Assuming static charge price] 500 (Max CP) * (2(20)/100) which totals 175 CP for spending 5 charges on the first ability. [Assuming variable charge price] EDIT: Removed the haste granting effect to close the potentially abusable loop. Hopefully this works! Skill im redoing: [before princess' changes]
  4. Hayabusa Style Effect: "Falcon Charges" are gained upon a successful hit with the Hayabusa Style. The user may spend Falcon Charges in the following way: .:.The user may spend x Falcon Charges during their Main Phase as a free action to give the target of any single Hayabusa Style taijutsu or basic attack a -3x% chance to hit with physical attacks for one turn, provided the target is successfully hit by the attack. (x is the amount of charges spent) .:.The user may spend x Falcon Charges during the main phase as a free action to have any Hayabusa Style taijutsu or basic attack used that turn ignore 5x% of the target’s defense when calculating damage. (x is the amount of charges spent) .:.The user may perform a technique that requires the use of Falcon Charges. Requirements: Must be a member of the Hayabusa Summon Family Cost: -1 SP (May be taken for 0 SP in lieu of the Summon Family Element) Notes: Will be used for my peregrine falcon summon family.
