It Burns!

Recommended Posts

Name: Fire Type: Lotus of fire (Katon: Hinote no Hasu)

Type: Ninjutsu

Rank: Chuunin

Cost: 15

Damage: 20

Effects: Opponent receives -5 Evasion against this attack

Description: This attack is one of the weakest you will find of the fire element. This fire attack does not completely developed to the fireball that the most fire jutsus takes the shape of. It's more like a ball of ashes and hot air.

Even though it's power is not what you could call very destructive, it's speed, as well as the low amount of chakra that this technique requires, makes this jutsu very suitable after a long time of fighting, when the most shinbis are tired.

Points: 1

Requirements: Must have Fire speciality

Name: Fire Type: Surrounding ashes (Katon: Haigara Ijou)

Type: Ninjutsu

Rank: Chuunin

Cost: 40

Damage: n/a

Effects: Used in the setup phase. Adds the "fire element" to the next attack.

Description: Your chakra heats up and takes the shape of burning ashes, which will surround your arms if you are in close range, or that will surround your long range ninjutsus to give it a little extra effect. The ashes themselves are too weak to do any damage for themselves.

Points: 2

Requirements: Must have Fire speciality

Example 1: Ninja A uses this jutsu in his setup phase, and then uses a ninjutsu of the void type in his main phase. The jutsu counts as both an void and an fire jutsu.

Example 2: Ninja B uses this jutsu in his setup phase, and then throws a punch at his main phase. The punch still follows the normal basic attack rules (it's still modified by taijutsu and defence), but now counts as being an attack of the fire element.

Example 3: Ninja C uses this jutsu in his setup phase, and then uses a ninjutsu of the wind type in his main phase. It now counts as both an wind AND a fire type jutsu. You can not combine combine elements with the help of this jutsu to create a new element.
